Disgusting and appalling behavior from Vanessa the store Manager in the Tullamore Jysk. Staff don't have a clue what they are doing and to top it off the store Manager doesn't know either. Doesn't know standard customer service and obligations under Irish consumer law.

Don't believe them when they tell you…
Don't believe them when they tell you an item is in stock. I waited two weeks after ordering a sofa online & heard nothing. After trying to reach customer service 3 times they eventually called me back saying I should receive an email next day confirming my delivery.
Next day I did get an email telling me my sofa was 'on its way' to the courier and that it would be another 10 to 15 working days! It turns out that 'in stock' means in stock in their warehouse in Denmark! A terrible company - i will never use them again.

Absolutely appalling service from JYSK Belgard Dublin, mainly due to the unprofessional behaviour of the store manager.
I purchased a faulty wardrobe and was clearly told it would be collected by the courier. When I contacted the courier myself, I was told no request had ever been made. I was then asked to return to the store for a refund while the faulty item remained in my home, which made no sense.
My refund was short by €1 even after proof of purchase got refund wrong as well and despite being promised compensation and reimbursement for screws I had to buy myself, this was never honoured.
To make matters worse, my personal details were recorded incorrectly and passed to the courier wrongly. This entire experience shows a complete lack of organisation, honesty, and customer care. Extremely unprofessional and stressful from start to finish.
Avoid this store and company if you value your time and money.

Don't go alone to collect anything heavy here. I was collecting a large item which was brought out on a trolley. I was told if I wanted to use the trolley I could leave my phone with them until I brought the trolley back. Surely a staff member could help elderly staff with large items...

Sorry, staff couldn't give a fiddlers about the people trying to be a customer... I was on their Web page.. it said they had 2 of the item in stock in their Liffey Valley store... bit it wouldn't let me order it online, so I tried ringing... 5 times and no answer... so I drove to store and asked the staff member of they had the item in stock. Nope... when I asked why the site said it did... she didn't know, when I asked could they not answer a phone... no clue... so I went and bought a coffee table in Harry Corrys instead where the staff are brilliant and friendly...

Staff at Swords and Santry seem completely clueless in terms of ordering online, or pick-up in store. Please train your staff. I thought that the stores just opened this month. But they are open for 6 months. It's appalling that staff don't know the basic knowledge to do their job properly
Bad service
Bad service. Purchased two display items for delivery. Items were in excellent condition at time of purchase. No sign of delivery for 2 weeks. Contacted Jysk many times during the 2 weeks, in Liffey Valley where the items were purchased and was told that one item was damaged and should not have been sold and the other item was delivered to another customer in error.
Was told to select a new item to replace the first item and that the second item would be retrieved from the other customer. The person in JYSK was initially extremely helpful.
Now, 6 weeks later and both items have been received but I noticed that the second item was damaged and showed the damages to the delivery men so they could verify the damages. Now still waiting on replacement parts to fix the second item (hoping it can be fixed). Jysk not very communicative and slow to respond to emails.
I have been extremely patient and friendly with Jysk all along, but now am totally deflated by the experience and the two items remain in my hallway.

Went to the till asked for a tv stand and the women said “one second i have to put on my shoes” which I thought was so unprofessional for someone in a workplace to have no shoes on in the first place, walking around the store aswell.

Shocking website. Can't make online reservation nor call the shop. Will buy from Amazon instead and never return... No customer service what so ever. Cheap cheap cheap.
One wardrobe, 3 different deliveries and still waiting!
Ordered a wardrobe (that cost nearly €600!) 2 weeks ago, said shipping would be 3-8 days which was fine, 3 days later got an email to say it was out for delivery, man from fast way came and dropped it off. My partner took a day off work to put it together and when he opened all the boxes realised he was missing 2, rang the man from fast way and he said oh yeah we can only deliver what we get that day. This was not explained to me by the man from fast way or jysk so I assumed it was all there when it was delivered. Rang then and they said the same and that the other 2 boxes might be there in the next day or 2. Next morning man from fastway knocks again, this time with one box and said that’s all he got so we rang jysk again and were told the other box was brought to a different depot so they don’t know where it is or how long it will be. A joke we’re living out of bags this past week waiting for the last box! Extremely disappointed with the service from jysk, not what you’d expect paying 600 for something!

Bad experience so far. Ordered a wardrobe on the 25th September to be advised on an email it would be in store within 7 to 14 days. Found this very long but decided to wait anyway. Now its the 17th October and i have received a customer satisfaction survey email asking me am i happy with the products i purchased. I still haven't got the products over 3 weeks later. Anytime you go to call the helpline it takes ages to get through. I got through yesterday and gave the guy my order number to be put on hold and cut off. Cant understand the delay for such a big company.
Rude
11/10/25 just left the store after paying girls at till extremely rude , disrespectful basically threw everything at me . And walked away . Had throws that I had to fold myself she had left the counter . The other girl went out the back to find a product as it said six in stock waited forever for her to come out chatting away with colleagues and says no none in stock clearly didn’t look . It was after 6 o clock so clearly they were not bothered with manners. Treatment like that takes the good out of getting new things . Maybe get staff that want to work there .

Wardrobe
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with a wardrobe I recently purchased from your store. Upon attempting to assemble the product, I encountered several issues that make it impossible to use.
Firstly, the holes for the screws and nails do not align properly, which prevents correct assembly of the wardrobe. Because of this, the entire structure is unstable, wobbly, and cannot even stand upright on its own.
I am extremely disappointed with the quality of this product and expect a solution as soon as possible.
Faulty garden table for €350
Bought a garden table for €350, solid wood surface. Within a few weeks the coating on the wooden surface start to chip off and the surface became discoloured & damaged. Very poor quality. Went to the shop for a refund or replacement and they refused until the table was brought back to the store. The table is over three metres long, heavy and assembled and I explained that I would not be bringing it back myself but more than happy to facilitate a collection by Jysk but they refused to collect it. Very poor customer service for a faulty item that cost a significant amount of money.
Jysk Navan terrible customer service
Today went to the shop Jysk in Navan. The customer service is terrible, waited at the till for 15min no sign of any workers on the first floor, went upstairs asked a worker for help politely, he didn’t answer or say anything. Whiles waiting at the till the attitude and face expressions of the worker was incredibly rude.
Poor customer service
Bought two very big and heavy shelves.
After buying we were just given a store trolly and told to bring it out ourselves to the car with no help offered. When we brought the trolley back in we were rudely asked to put the trolley to the back of the store. I am not paid to do yere job. Very very bad customer service.
