Paid for £3k worth of necklaces only to be contacted by a liquidator saying that the company Kabiri LTD has gone bust. Then the owner, a Nathalie Kabiri, emails me to say that I can place the same order again (with a 30% discount) through their new company Tarataratara LTD (taratara-jewellery). Even though I’ve already paid the old company!!! I am a lawyer so I know that is totally illegal. The new company is a phoenix of the former. So I reported them to the Police earlier last week and they said that they’re all over Nathalie Kabiri for several massive frauds - apparently worth nearly £4 million has been stolen from elderly victims in this method as well as romance frauds. Apparently their last phoenix websites were taken offline by Shopify. My advice is do not buy anything and report any such activity to the Police immediately by phoning 101 / 999 or visiting the Action Fraud website.

Has bad reputation in the industry for not giving jewellery back to small independent designers she consigns it from, and not paying them for what is sold. Walked past last week and it said they had been evicted from the premises.

Company appears to have been evicted from its Marylebone Lane store. I went past on Thursday and there are two big eviction notices glued to the window by a law firm called Lawrence Stephens Solicitors. Several weeks of post on the mat.
