Probably the worst car company we have used. They gave us a car which broke down on day 2 and we had to jump start it every time using borrowed jump leads. We called to report the fault and they said... See more

Highly recommended
Hired the car in Poznan airport for 5 days, returned in Wroclaw airport. Received upgraded car. No Kaizen desk at the Poznan airport so the driver contacted me to meet him at the pick up point. Returned the car to the Kaizen car park space in Wroclaw. No issue whatsoever at any point of hiring the car. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Extra cleaning fee
Friendly helpful staff. Car as ordered. Good price. Didn’t like that car had to be returned as hired. Clean inside and out. I paid the extra fee to have it cleaned on my return. Never heard of this before and wasn’t happy about it. I can understand if car is a mess inside and out, rubbish etc but general road dirt and normal dirt off shoes should be allowed.

Absolutely phenomenal!
I don’t normally write reviews, but I felt like I have to for this company.
I have rented a car with many car hire firms at Wroclaw airport before, but I only ever went back twice (and more in fact) to Kaizen Rent.
I usually book my car through their website and I find it really easy to do. I also love their Comfort Plus (it’s like a premium insurance) they offer because with that option selected I don’t have to worry about literally anything and it’s only 1 PLN refundable deposit too.
Last time I hired from them, my flight was booked to land late at night, after they close, and one of the staff called me a day before (Poland to UK call) to confirm the pick up time and asking to message them in case the flight is delayed etc. And in fact it was late so we got to the collection point late also. But because we kept in touch and updated he was there waiting for me with my car. I was so thankful!
I also have to mention that many times I was very pleasantly surprised with a fantastic upgrade in the class of the car I received.
These guys are now my default car hire company at the airport in Wroclaw.
I want to leave a positive review for them because I am honestly so happy with the service that they keep providing. I know that there’s some less positive reviews there also, but personally, I have only ever experienced phenomenal service! Thank you.

The bus was in excellent condition
The bus was in excellent condition, clean, and made our trip incredibly comfortable. The booking process was seamless, and the staff was professional and helpful throughout. I would highly recommend this rental service to anyone looking for a reliable and stress-free travel experience.

Quality control level: apparently optional
Reservation: D012576681-L8PE
Vehicle: Toyota Corolla (DLU06960)
About 8 days into my rental I noticed something interesting: each of the four wheels was missing one lug nut.
Four wheels. Four missing nuts.
I must say — that level of consistency is impressive.
Naturally this made me curious about Kaizen Rent’s vehicle inspection process. When I reported the issue, the solution was refreshingly simple: the missing nuts were installed by hand, without a torque wrench, and I was assured everything was completely safe.
Apparently the official safety procedure is something like:
Screw it in.
Believe in it.
Send the customer on their way.
Because of this small technical adventure, I decided it might be wiser to avoid highways and longer trips — which was slightly unfortunate, since that was exactly why I rented the car in the first place.
Instead, I enjoyed a more relaxed driving style: short distances, moderate speeds, and the occasional glance at the wheels just to make sure they were still enthusiastically participating in the journey.
Eventually I returned the vehicle 10 days before the end of the rental, despite having already paid for the full period. Apparently my confidence in the “hand-tightened wheel philosophy” had its limits.
To their credit, the company later admitted the car should not have been issued in that condition. Their proposed compensation for this memorable experience was 150 PLN.
Which, in fairness, is roughly the price of a nice dinner — though slightly less reassuring than having all the wheel nuts installed in the first place.
If you rent here, I would recommend adding one small step to the pickup process:
count the lug nuts before you start driving.

Its a scam company
Its a scam company. Be aware. Via rentalcas.com i booked a car from Krakow. They didint provide me with english contract. I was not informed that crossing the border of Poland will result with a fine higher then rental price. Im renting quite a lot cars, but this company is a real scam.

Incorrect tyres on vehicle during winter!
Arrived to collect vehicle at 1am whilst Poland experiencing -10 snowy icy conditions. Expected vehicle would have winter tyres fitted. Driving over the next few days was dangerous, slow and required me constantly having to dig vehicle out of snow. Later (sadly towards end of holiday) discovered all seasonal tyres fitted! Dropped vehicle off 4am, but on returning to UK rang Kaizen to complain. Was told I would get response in 5 days - nothing heard, so emailed again, nothing once again. I travel to Poland regularly and have used Kaizen on numerous occasions, but not again. Risk their customers lives to cut costs and ignore concerns raised.

Krakow Airport
I rented a car from this rental company at Krakow airport from 06/02 to 14/02. I was pleasantly surprised by the professional approach of the staff. Car was ready for collection, clean, fueled, all damages were recorded in the report. No one tried to hide anything.

Be Carefull !!
Nobody let us know we need the International Permit for driving in Poland. We rented cars in all over the world and only once we needed it and we had benn informed. The Car Rental Staff at the Aiport were rude and impolite. He cancelled our reservation and kept one day of car rental without any explanation.

Avoid at all costs
Avoid at all costs. Absolutely terrible customer service from start to finish. The staff are completely unhelpful and seem uninterested in resolving anything. My car was not ready at the agreed collection time, and I’ve now been waiting over an hour with zero updates or explanation. No apologies, no communication, nothing. If you value your time or basic professionalism, do yourself a favour and book elsewhere.

First Class Rental Company
Rented twice with this company flying into Krakow from Scotland
> From rental desk to car (in multi-storey) is a 5 minute walk without stepping outside.
> Simple online booking procedure at home (has english option)
> Very reasonable prices - 60% less than UK rates
> Most importantly you take out full cover with an excess damage waiver do you are fully covered. All for a very reasonable increment.
> Very nice new rental cars provided
> Would not hesitate to recommend

NEVER USE THEM
Dont do it. It looks cheap, but it wont be.
They are lazy, you bother them by just by arriving at their desk and they wont honor their reservations.

Unexpected extra fee when collecting at Airport
I rented a small SUV from Krakow Airport for 4 days to go Skiing in Zakopane. The car was fine, however, I was surprised to find when collecting at the Airport that I needed to return the fully car clean inside and out of pay or else face a fine. Ended up needing to pay 100ZL (£20) for their cleaning service which you need pay in advance at the desk to avoid the potential fine - being ski season you only need drive the car a few miles before it gets dirty. Never had a car hire before that does this. Otherwise no other issues with rental. Suggest adding £20 to Kaizen rates before comparing to competitors.

Fast collection from Wroclaw airport, no issues on return. Deposit unblocked in 3 days. I was just little bit surprised with additional charge of 20£ for out of hrs collection, in most companies this is free.
