Great Service!
I'm very happy with the service I received at Kala Kendar, during my most recent purchase there. The manager, Mickey, was very accommodating and generous with his time. He strongly encouraged me to try as many sitars as I needed, in order to arrived at the right choice for me. I was there for well over an hour. Without his help and patience, I likely would have rushed and made the wrong choice. 'Much appreciated!

Sitar is Like New
Sitar is Like New! I brought mine in after not having been played for a few years. It was ready the next day, with new strings, perfect tuning, and looking as if brand new, it was so well cared for. I bought a new gig bag and learned some new things about the instrument that I hadn't noticed before, too. Everyone was so very welcoming and helpful, both downstairs and upstairs in the music shop. Thank you!

Outstanding service servicing 2 harmoniums
We had a great experience getting our 2 harmoniums serviced and repaired at Kala Kendar on 1440 Gerrard St. E., Toronto. We wish we had found this store and Mickey years ago - it would have saved us so much time and money. Mickey is extremely knowledgeable and was able to identify exactly what was wrong with each harmonium. He gave an annual service to one and a calibration service for the other at reasonable prices, and had them ready on time, and they now sound great. They also build and sell new harmoniums, and the quality is much higher than ones we've seen elsewhere.

Fantastic experience
I am so pleased with my whole experience purchasing from Kala Kendar! The customer service is very good and they responded to all my questions very quickly. The shipping was fast and reliable. AND the shruti box is AMAZING! I love it! It has the ability to be played quietly, as well as loudly and has a beautiful sustain. I went with the G range and it is perfect for my mezzo-soprano voice.
