⭐ Kaplan Review Feedback (Passed NCLEX on 1st Take!)

I’m beyond grateful and incredibly happy to share that I passed my NCLEX on my first attempt! My exam stopped at 92 items (CAT) — and I owe a huge part of this success to Kaplan’s review materials.

The experience was engaging, very active, and helpful.

This review is strictly regarding Kaplan’s customer service, not necessarily their prep programs.

Kaplan sale reps consistently targeted my campus to talk students into using their program. These reps always highlighted Kaplan’s supposedly superior features, especially their incentives. Such incentives led me to ultimately select Kaplan for my exam prep. However, it appears than any incentive Kaplan purports to offer is riddled with absurd amounts of contingencies and eligibility requirements. Of course these are never disclosed until after the fact, at which point they direct you towards a “policy” that is clearly written in a way that does not disclose the contingencies and eligibility requirements. It ultimately comes down to a subjective interpretation of the policy that allows them to not deliver on their promises. To add insult to injury, they don’t even consistently apply their own purposefully ambiguous policy. They blame everything on the customer being “confused”. It also took me almost over a week to finally get a response from someone at Kaplan. And while customer service is at least barely cordial, they are not at all helpful. They don’t explain or clarify. Every interaction has an overarching tone of complete indifference. They don’t care about customers, only their bottom line. I suppose that’s on me for being surprised. I would put your money towards a different company. I wish I did.

This was a wonderful experience that was much needed for understanding the NCLEX.

I paid for 20 hours of premier tutoring that my daughter used 2 hours of. I realized that I paid over $2K dollars for 2 hours of tutoring because now the course is expired and Kaplan does not care that $2K is a lot of money to just forgo. I asked to transfer the remaining 18 hours to my younger daughter as the one it was purchased for is now in college and no longer needs SAT prep. So no refund is actually needed just them to honor the remaining 18 hours with another of my kids. I understand they are stating it is their policy to not do anything about me loosing so much money after expiry but that really should be illegal. They are getting paid for a service they did not provide. They did not even provide a warning prior to expiry letting me know to do something in order to not lose so much money. They could easily fix this by allowing my younger daughter to use the 18 hours as it is the right thing to do regardless of their policy that is essentially stealing money if you don't happen to use all the hours.

I had a great experience learning for my NCLEX and prepping.

It was good content the app is not good. Whenever I try to login every time I have problem with login server error. It was very disappointing so be careful before buying it. And 4/5 times In the night time service was inappropriate.

The literature preps were outstanding along with all reading material.

The teachers made sure to focus on your process and how you feel about the questions. They show that they really do care about helping the students achieve their desired scores.

I studied with Kaplan for four months, dedicating 2–4 hours a day, and I’m proud to say I passed the NCLEX! Kaplan’s structured approach made a huge difference. The Qbank and Trainer tests taught me how to think like the NCLEX, not just memorize facts. Every rationalization helped me understand why each answer was right or wrong, and that built my confidence over time.

The content review videos were clear and to the point, and the CAT exams really simulated the real NCLEX experience. The support from Kaplan’s instructors and the study calendar kept me on track and consistent.

If you stay disciplined and review your rationales daily, Kaplan absolutely works. I highly recommend it to anyone serious about passing on their first try!

The manner in which the instructors were able to explained hard concept into simplified terms, that’s jaw dropping moment for me. And as the journey is long they not only teach you to pass the exams but motivate you to mustard up courage to continue keeping up with your goals.
