Karen Bags 

I ordered 3 bags after seeing their ad on a legitimate website. I was deluged with spam from that point on. The bags took a few weeks to arrive, shipped from China. They are definitely not handcrafted and are not luxury handbags, but cheap factory-made handbags made of a synthetic material. I had made a second purchase which is still in customs so I don't know what those will be like. These were heavily "discounted" so the value may not be that terrible, but I wouldn't have ordered such low-quality handbags in the first place, no matter how low the price was.

Please don’t buy feel like I was scammed. Advertising as if US company and handmade leather. It’s not they are awful and they are not leather they are vinyl and they smell. Came all smashed in a bag all crumpled just terrible. Now trying to return and get refunded. Spent 275.00 if I knew they were from china would never ordered it. Don’t mind ordering from china companies if I know that’s what I’m ordering from. Hope someone reads this

DO NOT BUY!!!!! Ugh. I have been had, but hopefully I can spare someone else from throwing their good money away on complete and utter junk. These bags are made from cheap vinyl, they smell HORRIBLE! They are UGLY, nothing at all like the pics you see on the fako website. Definitely not handmade and definitely not leather! I am so embarrassed that I fell for this scam!! If I could give zero stars I would. Please take my word for it and steer clear of this “company”.

These products are not leather. Cheap shoddy bags with multiple faults. Arrived falling apart before even used. Don't waste your money!!

For an expensive leather bag I expected more than a purse stuffed in a plastic bag. The package contained no information certifying that it was genuine leather much less that someone named Karen made it. This site is a scam since you were not made aware it came from China until after transaction was done. Warning to others to check reviews of any store before buying.

I feel so dumb for falling for this scam! They have a slick, inviting website and easy ordering....but the lovingly "handcrafted leather" bag I ordered was actually the cheapest-of-cheap plastic that I'd be embarrassed to take anywhere!

This is a SCAM! Very poor quality and comes from China. Arrived folded in a cheap plastic bag. It smells, and not of leather. The phone number is bogus, as is the U.S. address. I Called my credit card company immediately. It will cost over $45 to send it back to China and only insured for $7! JUST DON’T believe these 5 star reviews!!! AVOID THIS SCAM!

My purse was lost found a week later. Over 1,000 dollars charged to this website. I filed a police report my cell phone was in my purse. I found my purse on my front porch someone returned it. Now I am dealing with Karen’s bags trying to get a refund on the fraud. What a nightmare. I showed the post office my police report number they took two shipments back. This was wrapped in cheap white plastic not how a real leather bag is delivered plus it stunk really bad. It came from Shanghai China which is the international charges on your credit card. The website makes iit sound like it is made in the US another lie. When I ordered my Dooney Burke purse it came wrapped in a box and wrapping around the leather to protect it. My Italian leather purse I got from
Ramstein military base in Germany is better made than these purses. This is an AI generated website its domain was built March 20,2025 so how can they have been around for years another lie.

Karen 'going out of business' is a total scam. These are NOT leather bags. There is no company going out of business. The bags are some kind of modern version of naugahyde.

Don’t believe the positive reviews. This is a complete and total scam with several similar sites including Linda’s bags. I ordered from Karen’s bags in May of 2025. The website led me to believe that this was an American store.

Once I placed my order I noticed that it was coming from China. I used PayPal as an extra layer of security. PayPal failed me. The day after I placed the order. I noticed that I had a shipment coming from China. I didn’t order anything from China. I assured PayPal of this. Karen’s bags provided a shipping confirmation which stated that the stuff had been shipped in March. I couldn’t get PayPal to realize that there was something wrong with ordering in May and proof of shipping given indicating a delivery in March so I froze my credit card account and my PayPal account and I started to try to get my money back but, in the meantime, I received absolute trash from China. The purses had broken zippers. They were very thin. They weren’t leather, they had a terrible noxious odor and holes. I think they only shipped something to me because I was already complaining.

I had to ship the junk back. It cost me $66 to ship back to China. I am encouraging everyone who reads this to not believe the positive reviews because I think they were put here by the scammer and also don’t trust the Karen’s bag site or others like it. Save yourself the grief and don’t buy from Karen’s bags or Linda’s bags or any other bag place where they put on this scam with the AI generated content.

These bags are not leather. Please don’t waste your money. Wish I had read reviews before making purchase.

Karen's Bags is a scam! I only wish I had checked reviews before ordering. Karen is NOT a sweet little woman offering great deals because she is retiring. The bags I ordered were shipped directly from Hong Kong and are very cheaply made. And, the Hong Kong shipping
label said it was from David's bags. In addition, about a week later, I started
receiving similar emails from Evelyn's bag with an almost identical format as Karen's Bags. I am certain all of these are tied to one big scam/fraud ring. I am usually much more careful and can't believe I fell for this. Please...buyer beware! Do not order!

I received the purse I ordered. It was very disappointing feeling. It was packaged like it was thrown in plastic. When I opened it up, the purse was much smaller then the website photo and the quality is very cheap. It would not surprise me if this was made in China and not North Carolina. I am definitely returning this. Wish me luck.

Karen bags is a scam and not true. It is fraud out of China. They are not hand made by Karen who is retiring. They are ripping people off, getting peoples card numbers, taking money, and are a complete fraud. They need to be shut down and charged for there criminal activity. Do not order from them or anyone else who says they are retiring and it's your chance to get something for half off. Not even close. Criminals.

The web site is AI generated BS. The products are from china and falsely represented as real leather. They are allegedly going out of business , yet have hundreds of "custom handmade, crafted leather bags"/ It is all a complete lie, if you do purchase, as I did, and find that you have been defrauded, you will have to pay around 60% shipping fee to return product, then they will state they never received the return. So now you are out 160% of the purchase price for plastic bags that smell of nasty chemicals.
Also of note, almost all of the GLOWING reviews are from "individuals" with only 1 review, interesting, no?

Do not buy from this company! Their website should be shut down for false advertising. I ordered a bag thinking it was made by hand in the US. Not until I saw my credit card charge the next day did I find out that the bag is coming from Hong Kong! Shame on me for buying into 'Karen's Retirement' sale. You know what they say - "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is". I tried to cancel & did receive a response that made no sense. My bank can't return a pending transaction so if I receive the order, guess I'll be stuck w/an expensive imitation. I will be reporting this website to the Better Business Bureau.

This website is a scam!! I don’t believe any of the “reviews” that are posted. Read about them. All the replies are auto and will not answer any questions. The quality is terrible and I feel they should be shut down.

The bags are not handmade. Poor machine stitching. Cheap polyester lining. AND they are made in China. The TV ad is a liar. Could get the same quality at Dollar General.

This website is a scam and so are the "leather" bags - I ordered one and it is not leather at all, just cheap vinyl. To return for a refund, I have to send it to CHINA and pay for the shipping myself. THIS IS A CLASSIC RIP-OFF!
