Spending a day on a boat and swimming with whale sharks - what an amazing experience! Adolfo and Captain Nestor were exceptional guides. I highly recommend this adventure with Kay Tours, Adolfo and Nestor.

My partner and I took the private Chichén Itza tour with two cenotes with Francisco. Kay tours was extremely organized and answered all questions before I left. The company was very thorough with what I needed to pack/bring for the trip. Francisco was so knowledgeable and genuinely seemed excited to teach us about Chichen Itzá. We were so lucky to have him as a guide! He was also making sure to offer us fresh cold water on the hot day and kept the AC going during transportation. He has great taste in music too! The two cenotes were absolutely breathtaking. Francisco was so prepared with my camera phone and went above and beyond to get a great shot- he was very quick to change to portrait mode or slow-mo for action shots of us jumping in the water. We made great time and didn’t ever feel rushed. I can’t believe we were able to accomplish so much in a day! I’m coming towards the end of my vacation and it is by far the most memorable experience of the week. Anyone taking this tour will be so lucky to have him! He was so organized, prepared, kind, and knowledgeable. He even gave us food recommendations near our hotel. Thank you Kay Tours and THANK YOU FRANCISCO!

Best tour service ever! We did the private tour of Chichen Itza, with traditional lunch in Valladolid and ended the day with a swim in a beautiful Cenote. So worth it, and so happy we did it.

Chichen Itza tour was fantastic, informative and engaging - we were the first ones there (Angela picked us up at 5:30am, with no delay), so we could see the site in all its glory without the crowds! Angela explained the history, was so knowledgeable and took great photos so we can cherish the memories.

The Cenote was stunning - a truly magical experience and so much more special knowing the Mayan culture and history of them now. Again, beautiful family photos we can look back to remember.

More than just a tour guide, Angela truly shared her knowledge and love for the history. We have only good things to say about our experience, truly above and beyond, and we would recommend Kay Tours to everyone! Thank you Angela, and thank you Kay!

A private tour is THE best way to experience the marine life and cenote! Our guide Ivonne is a lovely person that made it so easy for us to enjoy our day. First stop Akumal. Turtles, stingrays, trumpetfish and so many other fish along the reef. It's so amazing to be swimming right there with them. Second stop a private cenote. Simply breathtaking. It's a cave cenote with a couple of different size openings. You can feel the awesome nature around you. Last stop a delicious lunch! 😋 Then brought home right to our door. My only disappointment was I didn't bring something waterproof for my phone so I didn't get as many pictures but the memories were amazing!

Our tour with Kay Tours was a great experience start to finish. We booked the the day before for a full day excursion. Kay reached out directly via Yelp and also WhatsApp to make sure all my questions were answered before booking. The day of, our guide Ulises arrived early to pick us up (big plus) and really gave us the VIP treatment. He even showed us some hidden gems in the area around our hotel. We did the jungle reef adventure - starting with going to a few cenotes (amazing), zip lining, lunch, and then snorkeling to finish off the day. Ulises was extremely hospitable and enthusiastic - he shared so much about the area, its history, and the culture. Pictures were included as part of our tour package, and refreshments were provided, too. It was nice not worrying about bringing our belongings/drinks/etc. so we could just focus on having fun! We’re so glad we booked a tour…it was unforgettable! Easy booking, easy day, lots of fun! If we come back, we want to do another tour with Kay tours, maybe the sea turtles one or another centotes tour. 10/10 would recommend!

Worth every penny for a safe and worry free experience! Guides are friendly and super helpful. We learned so much and it was nice going at our own pace. They put so much thought into the customer experience and it shows. We loved the professional photographs and getting access to areas that weren’t overcrowded. Also wonderful not worrying about hidden costs at lunch etc....

We had an amazing time on our tour with Ulises. He is a wealth of knowledge and so much fun to tour with. His photography skills and attention to detail are wonderful! The Mayan jungle and cenotes were very peaceful and beautiful. The meal with the Mayan family was delicious! We really appreciated how Kay tours is very accommodating and willing to work around your schedule. I highly recommend this company to anyone coming to the area!

Loved everything about our tour! From our amazing tour guide Angela to the beauty of Tulum and the fun we had at Tankah! So much fun for all ages! Everything was amazing!

Can't say enough about how enjoyable our experience was with Fabian. He picked us up on time and his vehicle was clean and well maintained. He was very nice, spoke very good English, and shared tons of good information about local culture during our 45 minute drive the boat. The captain and crew were equally as helpful once in the water. Current was a little strong so one crew member actually used the life guard ring to tow our seven year old son through out our snorkeling. They were very safety conscious by making sure we all stayed together. The reef did not disappoint as well. It was teaming with life ranging from: tons of fish, eagle rays, and lobsters. There was not one aspect of this tour that was disappointing. We highly recommend Kay Tours for any of the excursions they offer.

This is my second time touring with Kay Tours, and every time the tour exceeds my expectations.

Our guide Juan was receptive of our personalities, and he knew how much we loved culture, spirituality, and wellness - so he provided so much interesting information about Mayan spirituality, culture, and tradition. He gave us plenty of time to enjoy the sunrise in silence, which was a truly romantic experience.

As an added bonus, the photos we got were amazing!! And it's so nice to know we didn't need to have our phones out. We could just soak in the energy of the Tulum sunrise in a historical setting.

As always the cenotes are magical and unlike any other adventure or experience.

We just had our fourth day tour on our second trip to Mexico with Kay Tours. Every tour has been wonderful. Each guide has been knowledgeable, and fun and we cannot day enough good things about them. They have made each trip an unforgettable adventure. It is by far the best money spent on our trips, and they are a big part of the reason we keep coming back to Mexico! Don’t use anyone else. Love , love , love them!!!!!

Kay Tours was amazing!!! I highly recommend this company. This was my first time to Playa Del Carmen and they made it very special for me. Our first tour with them was to Ek Balam with out tour guide Alex. He was incredibly knowledgeable in the Mayan culture. He taught us so much. He was very smart and charming. Our driver Ben was awesome as well! They provided snacks, drinks , lunch and even made a special stop for us to buy silver.
We then used this company again for our snorkeling trip on Puerto Morelos with our guide Jaun. He was also very awesome! The place they brought us for snorkeling was beautiful! we got to see so many pretty fish, coral and even a sea turtle!
They always responded to our emails pretty quickly and thy even use Whatsapp if you need to text them without using data. I would use this company again for sure.

Our guide Kay and our driver Diego helped us have our most awesome day during our stay at playa del carmen. The tour was very private, Kay knew how to organize it such that we stayed away from the big groups of tourists, we had tulum and the cenotes pretty much to ourselves. The tour through tulum was very interesting with a professional guide and ziplining and swimming in the cenotes was quite a thrill and felt like paradise. Kay was always ready to answer all our questions and made sure we felt safe and entertained during the day. In our opinion a tour with guide tours should be mandatory in any vacation around playa del carmen, it was a really wonderful experience!

Santiago and the whole team at Kay we’re awesome. From the beginning he was first class. Making sure we were well informed and taken care of. In rough water while snorkeling he helped my daughter navigate the water and find great looking marine life. During the cenote tour he explained all the history to us. Most importantly he times everything so we were the only ones at the attractions so we had it all tour our selves. Great tour and highly recommend.

Hi everyone, i usually don't write reviews, but I must encourage travelers to have successful vacation with the help of Kay tours. I have been taken care of like a member of their family. From booking to Au revoir, they were kind and honest. Guide Valentine, mate Luis and Captain Of the boat, as well as limo driver were polite, patient and professional. The success of a tour starts with clear instructions that a followed, they were respectful a ecology, animals and environment, to be more they would have to row to site. We ate good fresh food, vegan available, device was awesome at the beach stop. Please people, don't waste your money anywhere else, you will be happy for your investment.

Shark captain and mate were incredible and we were able to see whale sharks and have a blast doing so. Would highly recommend.

This was my first time swimming with whale sharks and such a spiritual experience! We had to have seen near 100 whale sharks in a two hour period plus several manta rays swimming with the sharks and doing flips out of the water. What an amazing day! We were picked up in Playa del Carmen at 5:20 in the morning and driven to Punta Sam where we got on our boat and headed out about 30 minutes past Isla Mujeres to a whale shark feeding frenzy! Since we arrived so early we were one of the first boats out and got to spend some extra time and take some extra swims with the sharks! Tamara was our guide from Kay Tours and provided us with coffee, drinks and snacks on the way up and the way back. She was so friendly and had such an amazing personality you knew it was going to be a great trip the moment you got into the van. Luis was the guide on the boat along with the captain and they too were amazing. The captain kept us in line with the whale sharks and told us when to jump in while Luis guided us once we were in the water and took some great photos of us with the sharks. They even made lunch for us at Isla Mujeres where we ate in the ocean on a floating table! The day could not have gotten any better. A huge thank you and top of the hat to Kay Tours!

A friend and I went on this tour last week. We had a day like no other, I had done it 4 times before during the past years, but this time with Kay Tours was unprecedented!

It was a beautiful day, the sea was flat and calm. And we started really early so it was only a couple boats apart from us when we started the adventure. We found the whales after 30min only.

We found schools of 10-12 at a time. They were sworming like sardines all around us! We possibly saw over 100 over all. Plus several rays and gorgeous jellyfish

The best though, was the crew: a kind and fun group leader, a captain so skilled to place us, EVERY TIME, in perfect position to swim along the whales: our AMAZING guide Luis who literally holds your hand until you are so close to the whales that you can't bear the excitement! We all jumped in 4 times!

You do not have to worry about taking photos either, the crew will take them for you! just enjoy the whales!

It was all so good, the attention to detail, the punctuality, their disposition, knowledge, the food... everything was perfect. There is a surprise at the end of the tour as well!

It was simply amazing.

I just got back from the best guided tour I have ever been on. I went swimming with Whale Sharks, a lifelong dream!
Kay Tours is the most professional tour company I have ever used! I only gave them 5 stars because I couldn’t give them 10!
They picked me up exactly on time, in a luxurious, air conditioned Mercedes van and transported me to the Port of Cancun, ( from Playa del Carmen) where we were quickly and efficiently guided on to a beautiful boat to cruise out to the Whale Sharks. They provided everything we needed, wet suits, life jackets, masks, snorkels and swim fins.
The ride out to the Whale Sharks was smooth as glass and they served us coffee, breakfast, water and snacks in the van and on the boat.
We swam with the Whale Sharks for 3 hours and they took professional photos of the whole experience (included in the price of the tour, unlike other operators that charge you for everything individually).
Afterward we cruised to a magical beach on Isla Mujeres where we swam and relaxed while they prepared a delicious seafood and guacamole lunch.
I particularly appreciate the fact that they are environmentally responsible, using reuseable metal water bottles, proper plates and metal forks. They truly care about preserving the Paradise they are blessed with.
Once we were back in port, we had the opportunity to shower off the salt water and loaded back into the van where we were provided more snacks, water and soft drinks for our ride back home.
I can’t wait to try their tour of Chichén Itzá, one of the most significant Mayan pyramids, the next time I’m back in Mexico.
