I bought 3 necklaces and all 3 have…

I bought 3 necklaces and all 3 have started to turn green my daughter took her back to get it replaced and they refused to fix it. I would not spend my money on these. Go to TJ Maxx and buy a necklace from there it last longer and you'll pay the same price and no issues. Will not ever buy from Kendra Scott again since they don't stand by there products.

Poor quality poor customer care

Bought earring and necklace set- the earring don’t stay closed and the there are charms on there that will fall off. They will not do anything to repair or replace told me to take to the store I purchased them which is across the country and that is impossible. I splurged on a special momento now stick with earrings I can’t wear. Waste of my money and do not reccommendation their product quality or their customer service policy

Expensive but cheaply made Kendra Scoot jewelry…

My daughter wanted a soccer ball charm necklace $75 and to make it for free delivery i purchsed a bracelet for $50 . Extremely expensive overpriced for cheaply made costume jewelry. I really want to return it but i dont want to upset my daughter. But we could have made this ourselves.

Easily and Quickly Ruined

My partner bought the Kendra Scott seashell necklace for me in July 2025 as a birthday gift. I was so confident the price meant it wouldn’t easily tarnish, but how I was so mistaken.. my favorite piece of jewelry.. turned my neck gray and revealed a tarnished, faded and scratched backside… and it’s only been 3 months since I’ve received it. I’m so disappointed.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. I bought a necklace in Kendra Scott, I used it one week and it turned black, I didn’t wet it, didnt shower with it or sweat with it on. It’s super bad I would never recommend it.

Overpriced and will not last

For being a Jewelry company with the Flagship store in TEXAS, you would think that their plated Jewelry could withstand sweating. Nope. After just a couple of months of wear (no swimming or showering with it on) The plating has worn off, looking dull and becoming seriously irritating to my skin.
Basic jewelry that is overpriced and will not last unless you buy non plated metals. $$$$ Buyers beware.

My experience with Kendra Scott items from 2022-2025

Ask me why I bought from them this many times, I don’t know -

The first necklace I got I liked, I got it as gift - it was one the basic green stone necklaces, rusted horribly was itchy, and actually ruined some of my clothes. 2022, bought online

I got the butterfly ring a few months after the green necklace before it got.. nasty. And same thing happened - rusted and turned very quickly, and finger turned green. 2022, bought online

Then I was in Dillards, and I got the white ari heart necklace maybe a year and a half after my last purchase. This one is actually awesome, hasn’t rusted, doesn’t make me itchy, it really is a great necklace that I’ve worn consistently since I bought it. 2023, bought in person

So with that in mind, I bought from them again a few weeks ago - Daphne Silver Coral Frame Multi Strand Necklace. From the images, I thought I was getting a blue/green stoned necklace. It’s um more red/orange… I can’t say that I would have bought it had I known that. But it’s a lot of money, and I fear I’m not going to return it. So I’ve been wearing it every now and then in the past couple of weeks and it makes me so itchy. 2025, bought online.

So yeah I’d recommend buying the white ari heart necklace from Dillards!

And I feel like there may be an argument of - maybe clean your jewelry better, or don’t buy that metal. But I have a disturbing amount of jewelry, and Kendra Scott is the only one that I have had any problems with.

Disappointed – no repairs, no accountability

I bought the Elisa Gold Pendant Necklace for $96 and it broke under normal use. When I asked about repairs, I was told Kendra Scott doesn’t repair “fashion jewelry,” even though their site says they offer out-of-warranty repairs for a fee. This “fine jewelry only” rule isn’t clearly explained until after you already bought the item and it breaks.

Their customer service offered me a 15% discount on a new item, which doesn’t even apply to most of the store. If your jewelry breaks after 30 days, they basically just say “too bad.” For nearly $100, I expected better quality and actual support. Won’t be shopping here again.

I purchased several earrings and…

I purchased several earrings and necklaces in the past 6 months. The set that I wear most has tarnished so bad it looks cheap. Ive purchased tj max jewelry that last longer than this and much cheaper. I really wish the quality was there because the look is super cute. But 1 Star is best I can do. Very Disappointed and will not spend the money anymore..

Very disappointed

Very disappointed. I purchased a 14k gold plated bracelet for my daughter in November as a Christmas present. She has only worn it a handful of times, never when showering etc, and already the ‘gold’ has rubbed off! For £70 the quality is terrible. I contacted customer service who said an exchange is not possible due to being overseas, and a refund is not possible due to it being outside of the 30 day window! The 30 day window was up before she received it! Worth noting if you’re buying a gift.
Don’t waste your money, I may as well have bought a £5.99 bracelet from the high street.

Last year for mother’s Day my daughter…

Last year for mother’s Day my daughter gave me a bracelet with two stones. By the middle of July to the stones have already fell. I purchased. I’m replaced them around the same time. They’ve really tarnish really bad went to the store at the mall of the millennia in Orlando and show with the lady they’re still in the bag still in the box what happened? She explained to me that I don’t know how to take care apparently of jewelry because I shouldn’t wash dishes or take a shower or put cologne or perfume over it. And mentioned it to her that I don’t do any of those stuff as she can see still in the box and the little bag they came into it. She told me if I wasn’t happy. I can buy a new one, but there’s nothing they can do for me ,so when you purchased something I would assume I have some type of warranty.
I was told no if I do that for you, I’ll have to do that for everybody else. I will never purchase any piece of jewelry for them or recommended to anybody this company.

After seeing someone share a video…

After seeing someone share a video online, I recently ordered jewelry from Kendra Scott. I placed the order on Sunday during the Easter long weekend. Upon reviewing the product sizing, I realized I should cancel the order before it was processed and shipped. I immediately sent an email to request the cancellation.

Unfortunately, I didn't receive a response from customer service until 24 hours later, at which point they informed me that my order was already being processed and could not be cancelled. I find this unacceptable because most websites allow cancellations within 24 hours, and I had emailed before they confirmed the processing of the order.

Since I couldn't cancel, I decided to wait for the item to arrive and return it when it was delivered. However, when I received the package, I was disappointed. I only received one bag for one item, while the other was wrapped in paper and placed in a tiny plastic bag. This packaging was extremely cheap & disappointing.

I purchased two items and expected proper packaging for both. I informed customer service about this issue, and when I asked for clarification on how to return the item, they sent me a PDF with instructions and told me to follow them. To my surprise, the return shipping cost was over $85!

I would never recommend buying from this company; it feels like a scam, and the customer support has been inadequate. Additionally, I noticed that when I received the bracelet, it had a tag indicating a price of $100, yet I paid significantly more than that for the item. I will not be purchasing from this company again.

Failure To Send Gift Boxes

The past three times I've ordered from Kendra Scott I've requested gift boxes & the last three times I did NOT receive the gift boxes. The customer service representative told me I could go to a store & pick up boxes. If I wanted to go to the store, I wouldn't have placed the online order. Ridiculous.

Disappointing chain

I received the Elise necklace and bracelet with amethyst stone for a birthday. I loved the set and started wearing it every day. The silver chain darkened in a cheap way, and I was very disappointed. Why can’t they use sterling silver chain!? Certainly should for the price of it. Disappointed because now it looks cheap.

Cheap Jewelry

This is nothing more than hyped up dollar store quality pieces. They are cheap. Purchased a total of 3 necklaces and ALL of them turned my granddaughters neck GREEN. The gold finish wore off and they look dirty and have green spots on them. For the price this is a rip off. Will not recommend or purchase again. Lesson learned.

I purchased an Elyse silver cocktail ring for my daughters Christmas present which I hoped would be good quality for the purchase price of £60 plus £10 shipping
After just a few weeks the silver has worn away making her finger black
The address of customer service does not accept emails and I cannot get any reply on the phone
I would not recommend this company

I received excellent customer service from Jessica I am shocked to see the bad reviews for Kendra I love their jewellery and they offer free shipping to UK. I wish they still had a UK store.
