Very good service Rhys was very respectful and knowledgeable of the car and the remap and what it would help do top customer service and quality.

I am very disappointed with the customer care service at this place.
The Apple CarPlay system stopped to function after one year. The manager Will was uncertain whether this was due to iOS 26.01 update or another cause. However, he provided no assistance other than a £70 charge for a preliminary inspection. I have found other car tuning services that offer significantly better customer service such as free preliminary inspection.

If you are considering having your car play coded here, there is no aftercare.

Probably different branch but people need to be made aware of this company's practices and behaviour!
Nice and friendly at first but really unhelpful once I presented them with a problem caused by either incompetence or a faulty device fitted to our vehicle which caused the power steering to fail whilst driving and gearbox to malfunction. We have fitted a ghost immobiliser to our Volvo XC90 and have had loads of problems since and spent over £1000 to diagnose. They claim it to be "user error" but it is not normal for the Ghost to throw such errors that cause the power steering (electric) to fail whilst driving and gearbox to malfunction and become clunky and overheat. For them, apparently if you don't put the correct code the first time, every time it is "user error" therefore your fault that the device they fitted is causing your car to be unsafe!!! Unbelievable!!! When given the opportunity to remove and refund they wanted to charge at first to remove this dangerous device and not refund. Then offered a fob (which defeats the whole reason for installing a ghost) or "free removal but no refund-paid £500 to have it fitted. Reported them! Stay away!!! They may seem nice and knowledgeable but in fact they're not! Don't trust all the nice reviews(probably fake) you read on google, it's how I got fooled as well.

I couldn't get into Surrey brach of Phantom tuning so leaving my review on a different branch. I have a Porsche Boxter s 981 which was remapped by Charlie at my home. The gains are tremendous making the Porsche so much more drivable. This is the 3rd time Charlie has reapplied the map due to being flashed by others. I know when it's been put back to standard immediately so I'd recommend anyone looking to gain drivablity and power increase to get there 981 checked in.

Charlie is so professional and boy does he know his stuff. His approach when visiting my address is second to none with respect for other residents in my close.

Also Charlie considering he's young has a old head on young shoulders as I have a disability, PTSD and at no point does he triggerer me, where others tend to so his respect for disabilities cannot be questioned.

Charlie is an asset to Phantom and deserves to be recognised for his impeccable service when representing Phantom tuning Surrey.

Had my ford focus st3 2017 remapped late last year which cost just under 290 i think. Straight after the remap I experienced this hold back (jolting) which was happening every time I tried to move off. I've been down since to have dignostic which was another 75 to tell me I had a boost leak somewhere. No sign off boost leaks apparently...so they put me in touch with a specialist that will be able too help me. And when I spoke to this guy, he basically said if I had a boost leak I'll get a warning on or fault code which I don't. So what he said was to have the car put bk to stock then see how it drives which cost another 75 pound.
After the car was put bk too stock the issue was gone which makes me think it was the map. Just a bit upset that i payed for a service that I don't have.

Many thanks to the staff at phantomtuning what a massive difference, they made to my Mini sport, I am so pleased for what they have done.👍🏾 The guys were friendly and professional, would highly recommend them to family & friends and i would definitely use them again. Kym 😊

So I've used phantomtuning twice now for 3 cars. I would definitely recommend this business. I had great experience when i took my peugeot 208gti for a map and my husbands jag xfr(we found out his was already tuned) then we took audi s5 there also. it's a 25 miles drive for us but because we like this company we gladly travel. they offer pay assist if you can't pay in one go. Really friendly staff and you received a certificate after. also would say that I've never had issues with this company so far. we where double booked by mistake but the guy didn't send us away. just polite asked to if alright to sit and wait. (In our car)

1st time having a vehicle mapped this ticked all the boxes, I approached this with an open mind I had no idea on what to expect.
The appointment started by a friendly greeting from Charlie who got some background on what I was after, I handed the keys over and headed to the waiting room,I was kept informed on the progress from time to time the hour appointment flew by and the car was ready in no time at all. I was offered optional add-ons should I feel the need for them they team was not pushy and respected my wish to see how the car drove with just the stage 1 map alone. The drive home was over way too soon with a few open patches on the motorway let me open up the car to feel the difference and WOW! the power comes in the car shoots off and I was nearly over the speed limit, rest assured the gearbox remap is definitely on the cards. The whole process was painless, very proffesional and friendly, the prices are very keen and they have financing available if needed, I can say without fear that you can put your trust in these guys to do a proper job on your car the results are impressive and the fact that I got improved fuel consumption on the way home proves I made the right decision. Very happy customer. I had my car mapped stage 1 increased from 270 to 320bhp. Friendly reliable service. They did a full diagnostics including a road test and gave me loads of printouts. Had it mapped previously by another company and had lots of issues. These guys did an amazing job and it's been running really well for 4 months. I have recommended them to friends.

Had a stage 1 on my golf r, massive difference, the guys were friendly and professional, would highly recommend and will definitely use again
