We had three roof windows fitted during our loft conversion in October 2023. In just two years the leaks, condensation and rot we’ve experienced has been dismal. Keylite customer services are terrible. Completely ignored the leak fault and kept zoning in on condensation issue to reinforce their policy of not covering condensation. I knew this prior to making contact, but they’re the only windows in the house that suffer. They are completely uninterested in the rainwater leaks and interior damage to my walls, or the varnish that’s peeling off the windows. Communication with them is awful at it’s best. Rude, dismissive and sporadic. They will address anything they can reject as non-fault and ignore everything else. I asked for an inspection and they wanted £395 to send someone to look at them. Just look, not repair. I would strongly recommend avoiding Keylite windows unless you want to replace them with Velux within 3 years.

I ordered a pair of blinds for our two Keylight roof windows, using the code
On the window I confirmed the size.
These were delivered very promptly and I installed them following the included guide leaflet. Simple enough for anyone with a bit of DIY understanding, I marked and pilot drilled the screw holes for the brackets as well as the guides for the blind fabric.
There was an issue with one of the blinds. This was soon resolved by the very helpful team on the help email with an explanation of the problem and a couple of photographs to back this up the replacement was again quickly dispatched.

Ordered the blinds, it stated two working days for delivery, called up as not received and was advised not in stock until march? Not one email or correspondence to advise of the delays? I had to call up my self to find out, a day taken offf work to wait in for them I work away a lot and just feel someone could have reached out to advise of the delay?

Waiting way to long order was lost rang 3 times before I could get it sorted arrived 2 weeks later

Firstly I bought the incorrect blind. Keylite quickly arranged it's return and the replacement arrived super quickly. Secondly, the blind is very easy to fit, way easier that blinds for Velux windows.

Had a problem with a couple of roof windows. From start to finish it was an excellent experience. Richard was the service engineer who came to sort the problem out. He was very knowledgeable, efficient polite and went above and beyond to correct the problem. Thank you.👍

We have three roof windows from keylite all fitted by our usual fitter. Last month one window in our brand new kitchen started letting in water damaging the new decoration and plaster. Our builder came out to inspect on three occasions and could not locate any fault with the installation. Interestingly when it was raining and the window was open, despite the rain coming in, the area where the water was coming in stopped. This has been reported to keylite and the responses and response times have been disappointing, particularly given how much rain we are having at the moment.

Bought blinds from KeyLite during Christmas Sales. Process was easy, the blinds are good quality and easy to install. Could do with better updates on shipping I,e, dispatch notifications and tracking numbers.

Inadequate customer service. We had bought and installed Flat roof glazing from Keylite and also bought the premade angled former recommended with the window.
It appears that windows have been leaking for some time due the window not being at the correct fall. We contacted Keylite in October and an engineer came out in November. He spoke with customer services about the fall issue on the former and was asked to take pictures and submit a report.

The customer care team have since refused to acknowledge all of the points raised on the report and will not admit that the former was angled at all, The photos on the report clearly show that the former is 130cm on one side and 150cm.
Keylite have said it is incorrect fitting, although the instructions were followed.

Interestingly, the former unit is no longer available to purchase online, could that be due to a known issue with the unit?

Response to your reply of 12/02/26. The window is fitted at an inadequate height due to a manufacturing error with the preformed upstand from you. You mentioned this is 150mm all the way round. It is not, it is 150mm on one side and 130mm on the other side. Yet this fall is not sufficient. Why would anyone buy a preformed upstand fo you if it had the incorrect angled fall? You have images and details of this on your report, yet you refuse to acknowledge this. The incorrect fall is a fault of your upstand.

Saved a lot of money going direct with company so helpful with measurements etc and easily installed they look great
