Customer service

Since early November this year we have tried to contact them, in relation to a warranty repair job on a kitchen cabinet. The first contact on the 6th of November was good. We sent photos and was told they would let us know shortly. Since then we have emailed three times and called four times, with no communication return. The phone calls end with a messages, stating” someone will return your call”, this does not happen. The customer services is very low. All we want to know is the repair going to happen.

Kinsman Quality Shines Through

We had a wonderful experience with Kinsman. Their communication was clear right through the process, with helpful consultants from the time we walked into the GoodGuys store, through design, manufacture and fitting. They definitely measure twice and cut once! Everything is documented for you to see as the job progresses. Sure, a little expensive, but you definitely get what you pay for. A quality product, great range and opportunity to make it our own through bespoke design. Our consultant was also on 'The Block' which gave us a great talking point. We love the value they added to our house.

Kids wardrobes

Kinsman recently installed wardrobes in my kids bedrooms. The consultant helped me design practical and stylish robes and they were able to provide helpful insights into what would work and what wouldn’t. I really liked the images they produced so that I could get a feel for what the finished product would look like. Overall, I found the experience very positive and would recommend Kinsman to family and friends.

Thank you, Kinsman team!

Really lovely designers (Eirene and Sarah) and great product! The online portal kept everything together for each room in one place, and their online team is really knowledgeable and prompt in responding. After sales service has also been really good while we resolve the final few things that are inevitable with a major project (we did kitchen, laundry and walk in robe). Big thank you to the Kinsman team! Judith M

STAY AWAY FROM THEM

STAY AWAY FROM KINSMAN!
The most stressful & worst experience in my entire house construction process.
The Designer does not fully understand what can be done and what not, do not explain or highlight any potential concerns that might not be able to meet your expectations, overly promised, and they will not honour what they have promised you.
I ended up paying more than I have budgeted for, and I still have to get another cabinet maker to fix my kitchen.
They deserve NO STAR.

Save yourself the headache!

Our issues started in design, with the designer very keen to have us sign a contract by the end of the appointment without having seen the space. Like many others, once Kinsman received our deposit, their communication and customer service became non-existent.

During the design appointment we were provided a trades estimate to sign, however upon receiving actual trades quotes from Kinsman's contractors, the trades cost was more than double. If trades can't be estimated with reasonable accuracy, it defeats the purpose of an estimate entirely.

The issues continued with installation. Our U-shaped kitchen is now 24mm shorter on the left side, leaving a considerable gap to the wall, despite being flush on the right-hand side. The bin chosen by the designer also does not fit in the allocated space (nor do any of the other bins in their collection) leaving us without a bin in a brand-new kitchen.

Customer service suggests that the gap is now a carpenter's problem, and that the designer simply should've given a caveat that a bin would be provided, and it may or may not fit at install. It doesn't inspire much confidence when can't even guarantee the fit of their products - unfortunately we discovered this retrospectively.

As a result, we are now left trying to fill the gap and retrofit a Bunnings bin into a custom-designed, $30,000 kitchen despite specifically designing our kitchen around Kinsman's bin recommendation.

We have attempted to resolve this with customer service and quality assurance, both of which were only interested in denying all accountability.

Wardrobe Review

We had Kinsman build two wardrobes for us. We were happy with the results. Communication through the portal was very easy and the kinsman team replied promptly.

My husband and I went to the Kinsman

My husband and I went to the Kinsman show room at The Good Guys Campbelltown to get information as we are looking to get a new kitchen. The two ladies who work there Leanne and Maria went above and beyond to help us with cabinetry, colours, bench tops and handle ideas as we were overwhelmed with so many choices, they really know their kitchens and are very knowledgeable. Thankyou ladies.

On point

From start to finish the experience was easy and enjoyable. We were lucky enough to have Hanalei as a designer and she was fantastic with supporting us throughout the process. The guidance we received from an installer Richard was second to none.
Over all I would highly recommend Kingsman

Just wanted to say to anyone…Avoid Kinsman like the plague

Just wanted to say to anyone considering purchasing a kitchen from Kinsman to seriously reconsider. Our kitchen benchtop started to warp after 3 years. We had a seven year warranty that wasn't worth the paper it's written on. Disgusting customer service and a 2 year wait to go to VCAT. Go to anyone other than Kinsman. Horrific company!
I've been blocked on the Block Facebook page for posting this fact as I'm breaching community standards. Haha

Great Experience with our Kinsman Kitchen

Our experience with getting our new Kinsman kitchen was seamless from start to finish, from the design consultation to the installation. The product quality and after-sales service were excellent. Our installer, Andrew, was punctual and even finished ahead of schedule. This is our second Kinsman kitchen, and we’ll definitely return if we ever need another one!

Kinsman were faster than originally…

Kinsman were faster than originally planned.
We had never heard of kinsman, until we were shopping in a Goodguys store and their employee came up to us, started asking questions. Was very strange at the start as she didn't introduce herself or the company.
We organised the stylist to come out and she was fantastic. She listened to what we had to say and made that happen. I do wish though, she had some handles with her as it a bit hard to choose a handle off a screen and you can't remember exactly which ones in store.
We were waiting on another quote and our stylist beat that price.
From signing on, we did have a few hiccups but they were easily ironed out. Delivery was organised for two months before they originally told us. And delivery was fast!
We very much love our kitchen!

We were very happy with the experience…

We were very happy with the experience from start to finish. The initial consultation was personal, and the consultant really knew what was available and guided us to achieve what we wanted. The installation was completed by very experienced, professional and polite Kingsmen recommended trades. We had timely correspondence with Kingsmen, throughout the process.
I would recommend Kingsmen to others, because of the quality of their product.

Overall, a positive experience.

Initial consult was easy, plan review and clarifications via the portal were ineffective due to communication breakdown however managed to be addressed over a phone call.
Installer was good, was able to adapt as needed for any challenges faced
