Superb cakes
Superb moist and tasty cakes delivered promptly and safely. I especially like the sachertorte and the jewish apple cake.

Birger, to be honest I think you 1-star rating is a bit unfair. Our courier was at your house with the cake at 7:45am, has proved this with a picture, you have received an email about this with time, and tried to call you 3 times but you did not pick up. Unfortunately once they have continued with their tour they can only deliver the next day (which they did then). I still hope you enjoyed the cake and will order from us again. Thx

For lovers of authentic Austrian fare, rather than pale imitations, go to Kipferl: wonderful Austrian cakes and wines from growers you will not find elsewhere, coffees, jams and more will be delivered to London addresses and beyond while the restaurant has to remain closed.

I discovered this Austrian Coffee House…
I discovered this Austrian Coffee House through my daughter who lives nearby. The cakes are amazing. Recently my daughter bought me a packet of the Viennese coffee beans Stambulia, available there. What could be more welcome in these awful corona times than a piece of Topfentorte and a Wienermelange.
Delivery went off without a hitch.

Properly good Sachertorte
I ordered for the first time from Kipferl, a Sachertorte which was delicious, perfect for my taste not too sweet. Delivery was good, on the requested day as it was a birthday cake, well packaged. I am confident I will order again from them, to try other cakes too.

Ordered a Haustorte for my family, and a large Sachertorte for my nephew, whose birthday is next week.

Best cake ever. Came on the day I needed, and was very authentic. This is coming from a very picky Italian. But the apricot jam is all in and all around the cake. The chocolate is beautiful

Delicious Linzertorte. TNT didn't deliver next day but it was still lovely when it arrived.
Staff at Kipferl responded very quickly to queries about delivery.
