Stay away from kirstein...don't buy from this shop, better to buy from more serious shops like Thomann.

I live in Italy and 2 years ago I bought a Marshall 1959 HW amplifier, and on November 18th 2022 it broke and I sent it to kirstein under warranty (I paid 50 euro for shipment)

On December 20th they ask me for 220 euro to repair the amplifier and they accuse me of having broken it because I tried to repair it by myself, when in reality I had only done a test to understand if the problem was caused by a broken tube or was caused by broken amplifier (I just replaced a broken tube with a good one, but the problem was not solved). Obviously I didn't pay because I didn't break it.

So I ask them to list the reasons of the failure and what they would have fixed. But I haven't received anything official answer.

I wrote many times to get news about the amplifier but without getting any answers, so I decided to call to get news... so they told me it would be shipped in mid-January 2023, but obviously I didn't receive the amplifier on that date. I call again and they didn't ask me money for repairmen and assured me that I will receive the amplifier in early February 2023!

Well, on February 10, 2023 I received the amplifier... but it doesn't work as it should!!! The technical assistance only replaced tubes but didn't test the amplifier and didn't understand and fix the fault!!!!

3 months of lost time, lost money and lost patience...

I wrote to kirstein again to complain and said they are not a serious shop...they offered to send it back to them again... crazy!!!

I sent the amplifier to a really serious technician friend of mine, and in a week he fixed it and I spent 60 euro!!!

What have I learned from this negative experience? Do not buy high-value goods from a foreign country because you will have problems with the warranty and with the time... buy only from serious and well-known shops such as Thomann...

No more kirstein

I discovered Musikhaus Kirstein recently because they had a guitar pedal that I was looking for for a long time. The paying process was smooth and the shipping time was super fast. Highly recommend!

I live in Italy, near by Florence, and It was the first time I bought a guitar pedal so far from my home, oustside the borders, but no other online shop in Italy had it avaiable and i needed it for studio recording. So I tried and I want to make you to notice that at Musikhaus Kirstein they were updating me very often, I almost did not need to check the package status, they were updating me constantly and never let me feel "we forgot about you and your order" now that you already paid. ... And the pedal arrived even before the expected data.

I ordered hard case for my guitar. They shipped it very fast with courrier. Received the case within few days. Well packed and safe.

I bought a guitar recently and I was satisfied with the service.

LAST and FINAL EDIT: The head of marketing contacted me. This time I could receive an honest and sincere apology, which I accepted; we're all humans and make mistakes, this includes me...
He also offered a compensation in the form of a voucher and this will help me in buying a larger amp.
All in all the experience started twisted but ended well and this is the reason why I am changing from 2 stars to 4 stars regarding my final experience.

EDIT 2: And now Kirstein finally writes after having tried to delete my comment and trying to be kind after 3 months.
They say that I returned the bass and they refunded the purchase..... not true, the bass is still in my playroom. Another lie adding up the bad experience.
At least they begin to admit that the bass was used..... as I claimed from the very first beginning.

EDIT: And now Trustpilot writes me to say that Kirstein has challenged my review saying that they doubt that I had a real experience with them. Well, I have sent the invoice to Trustpilot and the email exchange with my complaint where they did nothing.
So, Kirstein does not only provide a poor service and delivers used bassguitars as brand new items, but also they have a legal team to challenge the legal holes of trustpilot to try to shut down all the critics from customers.
Stay away from Kirstein if you want to avoid a bad online experience.

I bought a bass Ibanez BTB20TH which was supposed to be brand new.
When I received it and opened it I was really disappointed and a bit angry, if I may say.
The bass that I received was not brand new. It is obviously a B-Stock.
It is obvious that has been used. When I unboxed it, I could see that it was not the typical wrapping, the tape used to close the Ibanez box was from Kirstein, and below it I could see the original, I found no protections in the fretboard, no plastic protections in the pick-ups, the allen tool that Ibanez normally includes was not present and the strings were not that ones that Ibanez mentions in the description of the product (0.045, 0.065, 0.080, 0.100 and 0.130). It took me a lot to realize this, since I could not tune the A, D and G strings according to the measurements of Ibanez. All this makes me believe that the bass had been used. The quality checks of the product that were attached to the neck of the bass are from 2016!!, which reinforces my perception of an used bass.
I contacted Kirstein customer service and they requested photos, Photos of what???
I am sending it return.
Double bad experience. First with the bass and then with the attitude of the customer service.
