A Masterclass in How Not to Book a Flight


Minus 4 - ☆☆☆☆

Booking with KissAndFly was less a travel arrangement and more an unexpected adventure in chaos theory.
We initially selected flights with different airlines for around €360. Miraculously, somewhere between clicking and paying, the price decided to stretch itself by about €60 — with no clear explanation in the sidebar as to why. Apparently, numbers enjoy spontaneous personal growth on this website.
Since we urgently needed those exact dates, we proceeded anyway. Big mistake.
We booked for two people as a company, only to discover on the invoice that we had purchased a Flex ticket — something we definitely did not order. It was likely pre-selected somewhere in the depths of the interface, requiring customers to actively uncheck it. Naturally, this was not transparently shown before payment. Instead, there were just a few mysterious, vague line items.
Customer service? A masterpiece of disappearance. Although we were registered, only part of the flights appeared in our account. For the return flight, it wasn’t even clear which airline we were flying with. We had to dig through later confirmation emails to reconstruct our own itinerary like aviation archaeologists.
Cancel the unwanted Flex option? Not possible.
After contacting the Customer Care Center (see their standard reply below), we were given instructions on how to locate the second flight on the Vueling website — because even Vueling could not find the booking with the information provided. That in itself says quite a lot.
We were also promised that someone would contact us regarding the unwanted Flex option. Unsurprisingly, nothing further happened. Apparently, once “the system says it is correct,” reality must simply adjust itself accordingly.
To make things more entertaining, the flights then had to be registered separately with each airline just to access the actual tickets. Extra baggage can be “selected” on the KissAndFly website — but must then be purchased again on the airline’s own website. So essentially, KissAndFly is a middle layer that adds effort without adding clarity.
A quick look online shows that we are far from the only ones who have experienced this exact pattern. It seems to be less an unfortunate exception and more a recurring business model.
The overall experience was apocalyptic in terms of time consumption and unnecessary complexity.
If you enjoy detective work, hidden add-ons, vanishing information, system-generated inevitability, and administrative endurance training — this is your platform.
If you simply want to book a flight, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

am extremely disappointed with Kiss&Fly…

am extremely disappointed with Kiss&Fly and the way they handled my booking. I have never experienced such stress and lack of professionalism from a travel agency.

After I booked my flight, they changed both the date and time of my ticket without my consent. When I tried to fix the issue, their customer service was slow, confusing, and completely unhelpful. Every time I reached out, I was given different information or ignored completely.

I spent hours writing emails and messages, but instead of helping me, they made the situation worse. The agents hung up the phone, delayed responses, and refused to take responsibility for their mistake.

This company caused me unnecessary stress, wasted time, and frustration. Their system is unreliable, and they clearly do not care about their customers once payment is made.

I strongly advise everyone not to book with Kiss&Fly — they are untrustworthy and their “support” is a nightmare to deal with.

Want more money after booking a flight

Booked a flight. Afterwards got a mail that the ticket price changed and I have to pay more. just wtf, what a scam.

@Kissandfly: thanks for your generic answer. just wanted to let you know that today the same flight is AGAIN listed with the same cheap price as yesterday (when I originally booked the flight), probably resulting in exactly the same situation as before. this does not sound like an airline problem, it sounds like a you problem..

We would like to clarify that at the moment of issuing your tickets, we received information from the airline about an increase in the fare price. For this reason, we informed you that you could either receive the tickets with an additional payment or let us know if the booking was no longer relevant so that we could cancel it and arrange a full refund.

Since you informed us that the option with the fare difference was not relevant for you, we proceeded to cancel your booking. Regarding the funds: please note that the money was not charged by us, it was only temporarily blocked by your bank to verify the validity of the payment card. As we were unable to issue the tickets, on October 1 we released the blocked funds, and they should already be visible in your account.

In case the funds are still not reflected, please contact us by email and we will provide you with a document that you can present to your bank in order to clarify the status of the transaction.

We sincerely regret the inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding.

We would like to clarify that the prices displayed on our website come directly from the airline’s reservation system and are updated in real time. Unfortunately, there are situations when the fare shown during your search is no longer available at the time of ticket issuance, as the airline has already withdrawn that specific fare class. In such cases, we always inform our customers and offer the choice either to confirm the booking with the updated fare or to cancel the reservation with a full refund.

Regarding your remark that the same fare reappeared on our website: this can happen if the airline temporarily releases the fare back into their system. This situation does not depend on us but is entirely under the airline’s fare management.

To avoid similar inconveniences in the future, we recommend you to clear the cache and cookies of your browser before starting a new search, or to use a different browser or device. This ensures that you will always see the most up-to-date availability and prices provided by the airline.

Fake flight, no refund

Allowed us to book onto a flight which when we got to the airport we found out it did not exist & now they will not issue a refund

Update: They tried to get this removed saying it was for a different company

Edit as I cannot reply to response: The flight did not exist, so how could I have used the ticket I paid for. Of course I was not going to book another ticket via your site

Edit 3: That problem is between you and the airline, see if they can confirm the flight took off. My issue lies with you as your company has taken my money. I look forward to your response

I had mixed experiences with…

I had mixed experiences with Kissandfly.at. While they offered some of the cheapest ticket prices and the booking process was straightforward, there were significant drawbacks. The ticket issuance was delayed, requiring additional registration with the airline, and payment glitches were concerning. Customer service was helpful, though upselling attempts and large fees were frustrating. Service issues during check-in and a complicated refund process added to the stress. Overall, Kissandfly.at could improve in transparency and reliability.

BEWARE, THEY ARE TROUBLE!!

I'm writing this because of a past flight with my family. We went through your company because we thought you are a well known booking company and that it would be a smooth process. Booking was horrible, we tried 10 different times(my bank even called me to make sure it was me), if that wasn't a red flag already, and nothing was working. Customer Service was not reachable another red flag. It was not smooth at all, I had troubles from the very beginning, many phone calls to get the reservation/payment completed, which was exhausting. Then after finally completing the booking and contacting American Airlines, they could not find our son on the reservation who is 2 years old let me remind you. After many emails and phone calls with American Airlines(international calls let me remind you) they were able to find the reservation of my son but could not put us on the same reservation because kiss and fly booked it separately, why would your company do that and put us through all this stress?? The worst part is on our flight back they did not have a seat for my son, who again is 2 years old, and after my wife crying and freaking out hysterically for some time one of the other passengers gave up their seat for my son. How is that even possible and I hold kiss and fly responsible for such damage.

Sorry but I am not happy and to go through what we went through on what was a family vacation. It is not ok and no one should ever have those issues in the future.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!!!

Offered cheapest price by far

Offered cheapest price by far, initially thought it was a scam because it was so cheap compared to all other options (70% cheaper than next closest option on Skyscanner). Took them a while to issue the ticket after payment. But customer service, in particular Iryna Basara, were super responsive and helpful to assure me that all was well! Thank you so much!

Can't book a flight

Can't book a flight - i've been tryint to book a flight through them for the last hour but each time i enter my credit card or try another method (online banking) they take all the info and then i get a message that the payment didn't go through. I just really hope that i won't find 4 withdrawals from my bank account tomorrow! I will write to my bank right away to make sure nothing gets taken.

STAY AWAY! This is a scam!!!

Horrible horrible horrible! People beware... DO NOT BOOK through Kissandfly

Booked a flight from Vienna to London with Wizz Air, via KissandFly

1. Wizz Air changed our flight's travel time from 7am to 5PM!!!! Wizz Air said we could get a refund or choose another flight for free... BUT NOPE, KissandFly wanted to charge us 300 EURS to change, and would not offer a refund

2. Customer service is garbage... you call, wait on the line for an hour, only to be told they can't help you, so they will get back to you via email .... email communication will tale 3-5 BUSINESS DAYS, only to get a garbage answer and have to call once again to get things sorted

3. If you want to add a luggage, or anything extra, KissandFly will charge additional fees ON TOP of the airline - oh and they will quote you the wrong price! I was originally quoted 30 euros for a carry-on (I needed 2), but then on the website, they charged me 156 (as opposed to the 60 euros quotes)!! I called (ONCE AGAIN) to get it sorted, and nope, they said sorry, additional fees this and that - complete garbage

DISGUSTING! I don't know how this website is allowed. First and last time i will be booking through them

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL
They try to upsell you on every basic little thing, charge huge fees.
They provided no information on check in ever, but say I would be able to check in at the airport, but there was no one from the airline there, and no number to call, airport services couldn't help.

Then when I wanted to reschedule because my flight left after over an hour or running from place to place, they couldn't find any of the multiple identicle flights on that airline over the next few days, even though I could SEE THEM on the airline. Which only left me the refund option, which cost 400 in fees, instead being able to get a 100 eur change fee. AND they set A 4 HOUR COUNTDOWN TIMER to pressure you to accept the refund right away, and couldn't contact the airline myself because their phone lines were closed off normal business hours.
Rebooking a flight is nowgoing to be WAY more expensive than the original.

This bs cost me an extremely stressful day and over 1000eur
