Seamless , helpful, wish for one tweak
Kit has been relatively seamless and easy to use. I do feel that it has helped drive a small amount of income, but I need to scale up my engagement and I hope to do more in 2026. The only reason I don’t leave five stars is because I wish there were a way in the draft format to create The URL of the post so I could insert it in the footer of the message. The few times I’ve tried to do it. It hasn’t worked so that’s one UX improvement I’d hope for.
Nonprofit Approved
As a nonprofit, finding a email marketing service that has reasonable prices, competitive designs, and tools to help us grow our audience is a hard trifecta to come by, but Kit does it so well. And, if you need help, you talk with REAL people. They know what they are doing, always strive to improve, and truly are one of the most impressive companys I've worked with thus far. Their Creator Network was an unexpected powerhouse for growing our audience and connecting with likeminded folks.
Kit gives me easy control over my audience and systems.
I've been using Kit for years and have always liked how easy it was to get started with them. The thing I love the most, though, is the amount of control I have over my audience! While I don't use *all* of their features, what I *do* use is worth every penny.
I like Kit a lot better than Mailchimp
I like Kit a lot better than Mailchimp, my previous list software. Kit is easier to use, and their support is 8000x more responsive and helpful than Mailchimp’s. As my audience grows I still feel like managing the list tech still takes too much of my time. Kit has made it easier than others, but I think there’s still opportunity for improvement. Especially when managing an audience with a lot of segmentation and automation sequences.
I absolutely LOVE Kit
I absolutely LOVE Kit! It's my main tool for creating landing pages, promoting my products, and keeping in touch with my email list members and customers.
I remember Angel Marie fondly (she introduced me to Kit, then called ConvertKit) and I learned a LOT from her, and Kit has kept the innovations and creativity going.
I haven't learnt all the wonderful…
I haven't learnt all the wonderful things one can do with Kit but what I do work with is wonderful. Thank you.
It's CRAZY EXPENSIVE this year
It's CRAZY EXPENSIVE this year. I've been using Kit for years and love how I can design sequences and broadcasts but the price jump this year is INSANE.
Long-time happy user of Kit
Long-time happy user of Kit. I switched to Kit when I saw that it not only was built by a creator FOR creators—it was designed for the ease AND POWER creators need to build a sustainable BUSINESS. And it keeps adding more powerful tools — and more user-friendly tweaks to it all the time. And, the Customer Service is great. Thanks Nathan Barry and the Kit team!
Been using Kit since 2016
I've used Kit so long that it would be hard to remember life before it, except that I have clients on other tools. While there are a few things I would change about it, it remains the best tool at its price points that I've used.
Super clean user interface
Super clean user interface, everything runs smoothly. My newsletter goes out every week with zero issues. Analytics are solid. Don't love that I can't filter by subscriber score unless I pay more, but hey, that's just show business baby.
So easy to use
Kit is so intuitive and easy to use. I've tried several CRM's and Kit is hands down the best!
It’s easy for me to create landing…
It’s easy for me to create landing pages and to send out blast emails quickly. I just wish it was more compatible with other platforms. I would love to be able to send out SMS and also for it to somehow speak to my website platform so that I don’t have to keep transferring over emails. I cannot change website platforms because my book portal lives there.
Kit is everything we want out of an email service
Kit is everything we want out of an email and engagement service, and impressed how they keep improving and enhancing the service.
So glad I migrated over to Kit!
Kit is so easy to navigate and has all the features I need. I migrated over from a different system (that I had been using for 7 years!) and was nervous, but it was so easy to migrate and it's so easy to use.
don't waste time on this crap.
spent all day importing my data, they manually asked tens of questions, and requested to see social media platforms, requested to see my emails that i sent with my other provider and came to the conclusion they do not support financial services. if there's a category you guys don't support, make that very clear when signing up so people like myself don't waste time on this crap.
Disappointing. Go with another platform.
I had Kit for 2 years. Email deliverability is ok. No customer service really. I am definitely really upset they are raising prices for small business owners and just gave us one month notice. An increase of 160% for me - going from $15 a month to $39. What!! Super unreasonable. And when I tried to contact customer service, it's just AI sending me unhelpful messages with outdated irrelevant information (like clean your list so you can be in the lower tier price - actually, I am already!)
Increasing prices by 25%
They are increasing prices by 25% (september 2025), and you'll still have to talk to their AI-bot and not a human in customer service.
Steer clear
No, I don’t recommend kit to ANYONE. For a company that’s supposed to be an email service, they sure are horrendous at actually sending emails. Kit as a whole is glitchy and their customer service is beyond problematic. On top of all that, they charge a lot more than other email providers. As a whole, I’ve found kit to be beyond the bounds of disappointing.
It's A Trap!
I signed up to Kit in April last year. All went well for 12 months. I renewed my membership on the 1K plan for another year. In July, my subscribers reached just over 1,000 and Kit automatically moved me to the 3K plan and took another $120 from my account without notice.
I asked for a refund, removed hundreds of 'cold' subscribers, but today, Kit took ANOTHER $120 and the subscribers I thought I'd deleted weren't gone.
I begged for another refund. They issued it and then took TWO more payments of $120. Over $360 gone from my account in one day!
So, while I wait for the first refund to hit my bank, it looks like Kit is going to take large quantities of money out of my bank on a daily basis, with no explanation.
In the meantime, I can't successfully delete subscribers, so Kit could clean out my bank account.
I want to leave Kit, but I also want what I paid for in April: Another year on the 1K plan without being penalised.
I'm hoping somebody at Kit will read this review, take me seriously and see the harm they're doing to my family and my livelihood.
This is madness!
platform isn't intutive no clear tutorials bad support
The platform isn't intutive but doesn't have simple clear tutorials. And when you contact support they are useless over chat. I spent an hour trying to do a simple task. I gave up headed over to youtube found a three min video then resolved it. Few days later another problem that should be solved with simple video instead over an hour back and forwards with useless instructions. But tis time no youtube video I could find. Never had this problem with other platforms. I hate it
