Wish I read the reviews before ordering…
Wish I read the reviews before ordering as same thing has happened to others. They sent an email to say item wasn't in stock and offered one 3 sizes bigger or a refund-which I asked for, they refunded 5 days later but without postage cost. When I complained they replied "We have fully refunded the item (£31.50), however we are unable to refund postage costs (£3)." Complained further and got it back but will avoid in future.
In reply to Tony: my issue was that I was told you are unable to refund my postage when you posted nothing and others have said the same. That's not ok as a practice for your business. I mentioned what happened to explain it was not my fault that the item wasn't sent yet the refund for the item was made but not the postage, I accept mistakes happen and wouldn't have complained about that but keeping my postage money was not a mistake

This is a fantastic ethical company with brilliant garments and honest, proactive and efficient customer care. I will definitely be buying from them in the future.
Terrible shopping experience…
Probably the worst online experience I've ever had.
Ordered a jumper on Saturday, was then emailed on Monday evening to tell me that they don't have it in stock. So they're selling items that they don't actually have, regular stocktakes and correct systems in place would prevent this happening.
I responded to them on Wednesday asking if they'd be getting any back in stock, if not I'd like a full refund, no response. Emailed again on Friday and finally got a response to which they asked me if I wanted the other colour (I'd made it clear I wanted the exact colour and size that I ordered, if this wasn't possible to issue a full refund). So 10 days later they issue the refund.
All in all, poor customer service with long waits and frustrating emails repeating myself. Selling items they might not have in stock and taking forever to give your money back. Certainly won't be spending again with these guys. Avoid!!!
Poor quality clothes and terrible customer care
Purchased a £130 coat which tore badly on the very first wear with very normal usage. This was extremely disappointing and goes to really poor quality manufacturing.
The company then stonewall over email which is such terrible customer service.
All in all, a waste of your time and money. Avoid.

Amazing customer service
A lovely small company with a good cause creating sustainable fashion. I had an issue with a jacket and they resolved it very quickly. 4 stars because the item was faulty (I was just unlucky) but everything else is great.
Dreadful purchase …
Only leaving one star because I have to. The blouse I received after waiting 6 weeks was so unlike the one I ordered it’s laughable, if it were funny.
No balloon sleeves, buttons out of line and images smudged, the material Is thin and cheap, it is unrecognisable from the balloon sleeve blouse that I ordered, no response from the company on complaint.
They cancelled my order but kept the postage
Please avoid using them, they seem to be really incompetent. I ordered an item which was in stock according to their website, and the order processed fine, but they then cancelled the order later that day and claimed the item was no longer in stock. The stock on their website doesn't seem to be accurate or kept updated. When they issued the refund they only refunded the item and not the postage, even though the order was never sent, I have not heard back from them yet. Don't bother using the contact form on their website as I don't think they ever check it and you will not hear back from them, I just hope they respond to my emails at some point. I wish I had read these reviews before using them. Please don't make my mistake and avoid them altogether.

Quick deliver by Royal Mail which is good easy to track.had to call customers services as didn’t receive confirmation Email after order rang next day gentleman said was dealing with order and was shipping it that day recived next day.fantastic customer services.shirt for my son bday looks of excellent quality I’m sure he will be happy with it as he sent me the link to order for his birthday next week.also Enviramental friendly packaging.
Cannot unsubscribe
After buying an item (which was fine) I found myself on their mailing list. The 'unsubscribe' button has no effect. Emailing them directly has no effect and I got no reply either

I asked the Komodo customer service team if I could send it back and they could double check the size. They said yes , I sent it back and less than a week later I had a new M shirt that fitted perfectly
The products are of good quality but…
The products are of good quality but the customer service is extremely poor. For high-cost items I expected the customer experience to be easier, I have ordered twice from Komodo and both times there have been significant issues with the order. One time, the order wasn't dispatched until I contacted them to hear that one of the five items was out of stock and so they hadn't sent the order. I think that it would have been better service to have contacted me of this issue beforehand.
Clothes bleached in sunshine-…
Very expensive dungarees as a present- hung them up on a hanger and when I returned after 2 weeks they had bleached in the sunshine. Komodo took ages to reply to my first email- a follow up email provoked a ‘it’s natural dye so you should have known it would bleach’ (I paraphrase). It would be good if this were made clear on the label. It’s not. Not very good customer care.
Product different from image online
Hat delivered with completely different print on the brim to the one shown in the image online. Company very apologetic, quick to respond and offered full refund. But as always in this situation, I don't want a refund - I just want the product I was led to believe I was ordering. Now I have to spend ages finding an alternative elsewhere, on top of the time to send the product back.

Bad in communication
Everything was fine with ordering and delivery. Only when I wanted to return and had some questions about that, they barely answered and gave confusing answers. Even after phoning to hear them say my emails would be looked at and I would hear from them, I got no further reaction.
Mistakes were made.
I ordered a couple of different sizes of the same item to try them on and see which fitted me best. I was sent the wrong colour, which i'm somewhat suspicious about given that the colour i was sent (a light grey) wasn't on the website and was very similar to the colour i ordered (an 'off-white'), which suddenly sold out when i brought this up. I was also sent the wrong size in one of the items because it was mislabelled, which took a while to discover and meant my buying more sizes and other colours in order to get one that fitted. I never did get the colour i originally ordered. At the same time the Komodo representative did a lot to try and make up for this, finding me possible alternatives and emailing me a free returns label. I also bought another item that arrived in good time and good condition. All in all a mixed bag.

Poor customer service very slow in delivery took well over a week to deliver when it was supposed to be two or three days. Stock on website was very poor and couldn’t give a answer to when sizes we’re back in I waited ages to get last order no communication from them until I emailed and was told they couldn’t fulfill my order so had a refund will definitely not use again
Worst Experience I've Had With Online Shopping
Made an order with Komodo, and nothing happened. The money came out of my account, but that's as far as I've got. No updates, nothing. Attempts to contact them have proven futile. At this point, I'll accept the loss of the money if only to spread the word about how dire they are. My only regret is that I have to give them at least 1 star.

Great ethical credentials, yet from my personal experience I never end up wearing them as they don’t really suit me as as an individual no matter how Organic and comfortable they are, had to donate hardly worn new clothing in the end. With any ethical and pre loved clothing it has to suit you, get used / worn and most importantly ‘bring you joy’. If in doubt let it go and pass it on to a good home. Like the brand but it’s not for me.
