Very poor service.
Very poor service.
1. Throttling.
2. Constant latency and lag issues.
3. Poor download speeds.
4. Inexcusably miserly data cap.
5. Poor performance on rainy/windy days - which in Ireland can mean several times a week.
6. Average rationing works out at 2 hours per day on Netflix; assuming no other internet use (the advice from services was to download movies/shows between 1am and 6am ahead of time).
7. All at prices that take advantage of rural customers having no other options.
Astonishingly poor service overall.
One positive; the lady I talked to about cancellation was pleasant and helpful.

Took the offer in Ireland start of year
I have changed this rating as my portal and wifi are now working. Installation first class, My package is not enough and they have changed packages to a better allowance, which I will transfer to. New LITE should be fine. There is a lag and it can drop out but connects straight away. Custom care is very good on phone, messaging a bit slow. Compared to 3ie rural it is good but more expensive.
Update if you want a signal that drops in any type of rain or cloud then this is for you. It has been awful for months, even bright sunshine it has been poor. Nothing to do with allowance its no signal. Half the allowance is used by trying to get on a website and failing. I have reduced my rating
Update it does not work in frost or cold either 16/12/22

The most inept clowns ever encountered
Have the Konnect service just over a year. Was barely tolerable and nowhere near the speeds promised but it was required so we suffered it. The service went completely last week. The customer service number for Ireland doesn't even work. The reseller for Irish customers washed their hands of any responsibility so I went to cancel direct debit to find it is already cancelled by Konnect. Either the company has gone bust or they are so incompetent they cannot keep current customers paying them. They will on their swiss get their equipment back, joke of a company.

To Konnect,
I have done as you asked and guess what no response from your customer service team.
Absolutely appalling and I am now making a complaint to OFCOM
How dare you send me an email stating I have an outstanding bill which is totally due to the ineptitude of the IT services you use
You can't even set up a direct debit to take payment and seem incapable of using the IT service to make the necessary adjustments to my service that I have requested from you 5 times in the past 6 weeks.
Despite multiple attempts and contacts I have made to you and promises that you would correct the amount for the package you have still not done this.
All I have received is your excuses of IT issues and promises of a call back and a correct payment request would be sent to me.
I expect you to correct this on Monday 6th June and send me the correct payment details and payment will be made.
The service I have received since becoming a customer has steadily declined to now an unacceptable level and I am now giving you written notice of my intention to cancel the service at the end of my contract in September 2022.
As well as an amended bill I wish to receive your written confirmation of the cancellation from renewal date in September and an apology for the total lack of customer service your shambles of a company fail to provide.
I will also be reviewing your service online to ensure others do not have to suffer as I have

Avoid company at all costs
By far the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Installers came out and incorrectly installed the satellite etc. the support line was incredibly hard to reach somebody and even when you got someone, they didn’t have a clue how to help. One person finally sorted me a refund about a year ago but to this day I’m getting emails saying I owe money. Any time I manage to reach someone they say they’ll sort this issue out but it’s never done. Avoid this company on all terms

Poor and deteriorating broadband speed.
We signed up for this after being promised superfast reliable broadband. Total rubbish. It was ok when it first installed, but went off over the next few weeks. It now frequently slows to a snail's pace and then drops out completely for prolonged periods. All the suggested fixes have no effect. Streaming TV etc is unwatchable. Business use is impossible and even embarrassing.
Do not believe the sales pitch.
