Unbelievable
Unbelievable. Ordered an air conditioning unit and paid the 100 euros installation fee. Received SMS on the Saturday saying the unit would be delivered by 12 on Monday and the installation would be between 12 and 2. The unit arrived. The technician did not. Contacted kotsovolos and they tell me the technician couldn’t find me. I took the day off work to wait for the unit and the installation. The delivery guys found me because I was waiting at home. The technician didn’t call or even text. Do not order anything from this joke of a company. Now they’re trying to make it difficult to return the unit as well and get a refund. I’m extremely annoyed.
Stay away
Stay away. Customer service employees are very polite when they lie to you about delivery times. We've been waiting for a stove set (essential houseware device) for two weeks. 2 weeks since it was supposed to be delivered. We have talked to 4 different employees since then and they all "apologize and guarantee the delivery will be done tomorrow" and then tomorrow we call again and the vicious cycle continues. We will cancel the order and proceed to legal actions.

I was trying to contact them regarding the status of my order which has been delayed. I paid extra for delivery in 60 minutes but one day later and my order has not been given to the courier. I called them but I had to wait a very long time to speak with someone.
Also the live chat on the website is horrible.
I was waiting in line for 20 minutes for my turn to chat with someone. One it was finally my turn, the chat disconnected me and had to wait again. I waited again and even scrolled refulargly on the website but I was again disconnected.
Worst retailer in Greece
The last 2 times I ordered a device, I never received them. Disorganization, bad customer service, crappy call center, hassle with refund. Stay away!
worst experience ever
I bought an oven at Kotsovolos Thessaloniki store.
the first day it was installed by an electrician, it made all the lights of the house shut down. We called customer service and had to wait 1 week to see a technician coming home. He checked and confirmed that all the heating system of the oven does not work. now it's been more than 10 days and still no news from them. I went 4 times to the store but all they can say is that we have to wait the ok from the seller's company to change it. but nothing happens and they are not in a hurry to help.I called many times and again no clear answer. they always say we will call you back but there is never a phone call back. It was the first time I bought something from this store and the last one too. the customer service is just incompetent and useless. I nerver saw such a degree of incompetence in my life. Even the Manager ( or what so called Mr. Nikos Firinidis) took again my phone number and said for sure he will call me to let me know about the situation but nothing happens. No surprise!!!!!you can trust absolutely NOBODY!!!
Bad company and customer service
Last early August we have placed an on-line order for an not available oven, paid it, and after a view days we have been told that our over will be delivered on September 21st. Until now still waiting for the delivery. We haven't had any other updates since then. I try to call support and the waiting time is 40'+ then the line drops! Once I managed to contact them they replied that they will ship my oven in 2 weeks and again did not happened until now. We ended up canceling our oven order.

I have placed an on-line order for an available product, paid it, and after a month still waiting for the delivery. On the site I see 'Processing in Progress Your order is being processed.' I haven't had any other updates since then. I try to call support and the waiting time is 40'+ then the line drops! Once I managed to contact them on chat they replied that they will ship my order next day which again did not happened. I went to a physical store, the told me that the do not have access to the orders placed on-line and the only way do my job is to call support!!

Terrible company, waiting for. my washing machine to be replaced, reported on the 16th August on the first wash, a technician came on the 4th September!!!!! and confirmed it was broken and now they tell me they are sending another technician, it's now 12th September, I've been without a washing machine since the 16th August. i've reported them to the Consumer Protection Service. Avoid!

I ordered a 200 gift card on the 12th of Aug via the online store. As a person who lives outside GR I was not able to enter a non-Greek phone number to complete my order so I used a relative's of mine. Till 25th of Aug my giftcard had not been delivered. I followed up 3 times via the customer service after waiting for ca 20min on the phone. My issue was supposed to be internally resolved. After a couple of days I requested a refund because there was no progress. My request was processed and took the status "completed" On the 31st Aug. Today is 5th Sep and I still have not received my refund. I appreciate there was a weekend in between but even the Status of my refund request has been misleading. This has simply been a terrible customer experience overall.

APPALLING SERVICE IN KALAMATA
No Zero, so one star will have to do.
The customer service in the Kalamata store is abysmal. I went there, and on the basis of experience with Samsung products in the UK, chose an 11kg washing machine. I was advised that I could wait until 10 days hence to take delivery from Athens to a holiday home 50 km away or take a machine from the warehouse in Asprochoma. I bought the machine with my UK credit card. The lady that served me had too little wit to find out where the warehouse was (Keep a card with a Google maps reference). I found it by calling the attendant there from my car and it was a good distance from where she said would be.
Christos was helpful but alas the machine was not there. Nor was there any stock at the warehouse in Athens. An end of line model he said, take a 9 kg model instead. Against my better judgement I did.
On arrival at the family house 50 km away, I kept the machine in its box.
Beware, you can never speak to the store!
I called +30 21 0289 9999 and got through to Mr Vassalas in English and asked if I could perhaps buy the store demo model. “Oh yes of course” he said. They will give you a good discount but you have to go there. I will send them an email. BUT HE COULD NOT CHECK THAT THAT WAS SO.
So if I went the next day, another 100 km round-trip. A long wait for the cashier to look for the email on her computer after she had got some for a customer to sign 22 pages of some contract ensued. No email was found! Then steam came out of my ears when I was told by Mr Veduri, the store manager, that it was company policy never to sell demo models. (Maybe his cousin got it at the discount promised by Vassalas?)
I said that they should collect the 9 kg model and I would never set foot in the store again. The right-hand does not know what the left-hand is doing. He said that I should return to the store two days after collection to arrange my credit card refund, knowing full well the distances involved. The machine was duly collected, two hours before the slot sent by txt message.( “Oh, never trust those messages)
I have since called the customer service number twice to arrange my refund to be told that I would called back by the store to arrange it. No call came on the first attempt and I am still waiting after trying again.
Never once, ever, did anybody apologise except the last customer service representative in Athens, when pushed. Nor was I ever reassured that Veduri would get feedback about lying about a company policy that does not exist ( according to the last rep I spoke to). All I got was the typical, unsmiling, blank, unapologetic stare, the lifting of the eyebrows and “those guys in Athens say what they like, but I won’t agree to address the inconsistency”
Avoid this store and the chain. Shop online!
Update260323; An unnamed lady called this morning, seemingly unfamiliar with the above, and asked if I har received my washing machine! I asked her about a refund and again I was asked to attend the store 50km away. I asked her to find a way to refund the full amount. She said she would and would get back to me. I thought I had a number for tge store. ( KLX prefix +30 2721 094111). An irritable gent answered it in Athens!!! She has not called back.
Kotsovolos is the worst shop in Greece!
Kotsovolos start this month the summer sales so i found a galaxy tab s8+ in a really good price and made an order, 7 days later i call them on phone and they told me the next day will send the tablet to courier for delivery but nothing happened so i chat with them and they told me the tablet is out of stock and will never be in stock again and if i want to call me for another tablet deal i said yes and after 2 days i call them again to ask for a deal on a similar tablet they told me there is no deals for you!!!!!
Btw the first tablet with the big discount is still on the website with 'delivery in 24 hours'.
Shame on you Kotsovolos, I will never buy anything from them again!!!

I have been a customer since 1995. I bought an item on 15/7/2023 and after endless hours in the useless Live Chat and on the phone, I got informed on 31/7 that they cancelled my purchase due to availability issues! Simply unacceptable!

One Of The Worst Customer Experiences Ever
My experience with Kotsovolos company was extremely disappointing. I faced serious delays in the delivery of my products, and this happened not just once but twice within a month. Specifically, three air conditioning units that were supposed to be installed within three working days took seven days to be installed. A product that was supposed to be delivered within 24 hours was never delivered, and after waiting for three days, I had to cancel the order due to the negligence and lack of explanations. It is absolutely unacceptable to promise customers a specific delivery timeframe and not fulfill it.
Furthermore, I must mention that the communication with the company's customer service was equally inadequate. The representatives appeared indifferent and unwilling to resolve my issues. The lack of professionalism in their communication was a negative surprise.
I hope the company takes into account its weaknesses and works towards improving them to offer a more professional and reliable experience to its customers. If they succeed, some might give them a second chance. However, I, for one, will not.

In the last month i have bought 2 items that were on their eshop available for delivery in 24hours and both of them never delivered.
The order had been canceled withought any notification.
You can't contact them by email.
You wait at least 1 hour for phone support and the web chat just redirects you to phone support.
Misleading eshop terrible customer experience
Ordered an item supposed to be in stock with same-day delivery. After a week of no update from them beyond "Its taking longer because we need to verify your business tax details" following a call i made to them they said oh the item you want is no longer in stock... They took the money and did not reserve the item. Still waiting for a refund. Terrible customer experience dont waste your money.
