Unfortunately 0 stars isn’t an option, I bought a Nintendo switch from this store recently for my son only to open it and realize the screen is broken, when I contacted them, they refused to do anything about it, maybe they should explain to my son why his Christmas present is damaged, then they could see the disappointment on his face, avoid at all costs, do not buy from Stephanis!!!

Very disappointing and stressful…

Very disappointing and stressful experience – no accountability or customer care

I had an extremely frustrating experience with Stephanie Electronics just two days before Christmas. I went in specifically to buy a laptop as a gift and clearly explained the exact specifications I needed, including a calibrated screen. Instead of honestly telling me they didn’t have what I asked for, they gave me the wrong computer to buy a different laptop that did NOT meet my requirements.

Trusting the sales advice, I purchased it. After realizing it was the wrong product, I returned it the very next day without using it at all. Despite this, they unnecessarily made the situation difficult by claiming they had to send the laptop to Lenovo to confirm it was unused, which caused delays and stress during an already busy and emotional holiday period.

Lenovo confirmed the laptop was not used, yet instead of taking responsibility for misadvising me and selling me the wrong computer, the store still refused to issue a refund. I was effectively forced into buying something I never wanted, simply because they didn’t have the product I originally requested.

What made this worse was the lack of communication, endless follow-ups, and complete refusal to show accountability, even though this mistake was clearly caused by their sales advice. This happened during a very difficult personal time for me, and the way it was handled showed no empathy, professionalism, or customer care.

I strongly warn others: be very careful and get everything in writing before purchasing, because once they take your money, they do not stand behind their advice or take responsibility for their mistakes. This experience was exhausting, disappointing, and completely unacceptable.

Displeased with the service after and the quality

I bought a brand new laptop with the total coming to 1.8k.
Fast forward 5 months later the laptop needed an update and after that wouldn't turn back on because of no battery (how? Its only 5 months old)

Took it in as its under warranty and they told me the maximum would be 15 business days, so i bit the bullet.

26 business days later and still no update. Every week I call them and either the support is telling me im trying to connect to the other department but they arent available and that they will call me back shortly (which 8 out of 10 times they dont call back) or they say that the tech people just ordered some new parts and to expect it back next week and they keep pushing back 1 week at a time with the same excuse.

When I told them i have had enough and i want to speak to a manager to leave a formal complaint they said you have to leave a complaint with a governmental body which I am not aware of how to go about.

So here I am 26 business days later still waiting for my brand new laptop which was an expensive asus.

Went yesterday to their Nicosia store and specifically asked for noice cancelling earbuds. The sales person recommended the JBL wavebuds 2. I tried them the same day but the noice remained EXACTLY the same whether the noice cancelling was on or off. I went today (one day later) back to ask what am I doing wrong. THEIR ANSWER WAS: don’t expect the noice to be cancelled completely. I repeated that there is no change whatsoever. I still received the same answer. I wasn’t even offered to leave them for their technicians to check them out. They have the excuse ready after the fact and after you gave them your money. Never again, I don’t trust them anymore so never shopping again from them

I bought a PS5 controller in July that…

I bought a PS5 controller in July that they sold me it faulty, then I had to buy another one until they ''inspected'' the controller that was initially sold to me. Never got back to me, and never got a refund. Fast forward two months later I had to buy another controller, they sold me ANOTHER faulty controller with massive stick drift. Never ever again. Avoid at all costs.

If I could leave zero stars I would - avoid like the plague

If I could leave zero stars I would. Their after-sales customer service is nothing but a rip-off! Paid €€399 for an electric scooter just over 2 years ago (6 weeks out of warranty). It stopped working and we took it into Paphos, they wanted €20 to send to Nicosia (ACS would have done it for €5). They then wanted €21.78 for a diagnostic test).

They came back with an outrageous €285 bill for repairs (this was a lightly used scooter, mainly used by a 40k person). We refused, and then they demanded another €20 to return it to us in Paphos. They are currently advertising the same scooter for €349 with a 2 year warranty, How on earth can they justify a total of almost €350 to repair a scooter that is 2 years and 6 weeks old?

Stephanis is a good electronics and technology store business operating in Cyprus. I visit a store a few times a year and I find the experience mostly satisfying. I made a contract to purchase a tablet in Stephanis in collaboration with Epic with monthly payments and it was successful.

When i call none of them have a clue about it or even care about the sheer exhaustion of continuously picking up something they again haven't fix and again going down the rabbit hole of explaining to a brick wall my whole saga only for it to begin anew. I wish i were exaggerating for my nerves sake but im not

Sharp microwave poor quality

Sharp microwave poor quality. Sharp microwave purchased in early 2023. Two year warranty. Three months outside of warranty. Stopped working bad electric burning smell. Took back to Paphos store. Team were good when explained only visit Cyprus for less than three months a year so unit has hardly been used. Offered to refund the 25 Euro cost of sending in for repair from repair bill. They have a good system of keeping you informed of progress. After two weeks not economic to repair. So after 2 years and three months new microwave purchase for a unit hardly used. Haven’t bought another Sharp!

in june brought a MateStar Blender diapointed

in june 2024 brought a MateStar Blender , used it twice, it smelt like it was burning and the number 1 on the dial didn't work so took it back, lol they said it has to be sent away, few weeks later its back, take it home plug it in, nothing happens, so guess what, took it back again , and yet again after big discussion about they could not give refund or replace it as not up to them its the company that can issue a refund . i believe the item i brought from the shop is faulty and should have been replaced , it come back for the 3rd time and they said as its working no refund or replacement , they would not budge on it , so took it home again and i don't trust the item and will not use it, and will never shop at Stephanis again , as dont trust them

A Rollercoaster of Disappointment


Six Months of Ironing Out Problems... Literally
I went into this store with a simple dream: a brand-new, shiny, top-of-the-line iron. What I got was... an emotional rollercoaster that would make Iron Man feel weak.

The iron I bought didn’t work—fine, it happens. I took it back, fully expecting a quick fix, because, you know, it was brand new. Fast forward six months of back-and-forth, and what I got in return wasn’t my original iron, but a sad, second-hand version with a completely different cord. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t even the same brand, but hey, who’s counting?

I kindly pointed out the obvious: “This is not my iron,” but the staff, genuinely puzzled, asked ME what they should do. You know, because apparently, I was the one who had swapped my shiny new iron for a slightly worse version of a used one. (My mistake, really! )

Six months, multiple trips, and endless frustration later thanks to Stephanis.
Just go to other electric stores, there are so many good ones in Cyprus. Avoid this store Stephanis and you will avoid a big headache and changes on your blood pressure

FYI Stephanis: just today bought from Public PS5, 1 additional controller and a couples of games. only 800euros more or less. Next month new washing machine and dryer, ofc not from your stores :)

Terrible customer experience.

I bought a keyboard (Corsair K70 Pro Cherry MX Red) for 100 EUR due to a black Friday promotion (normally sold for 189 EUR) the product was meant to be delivered at my home address but they called me one day after I bought the product to tell me that the last piece in existence was the one that they were using in display for the public, yes, the same kind of item that the public destroy, they wanted to seize the opportunity to gave it to me as "new"

I asked for a refund and I honestly don't recommend buying in this store or at least if you do, avoid delivery at all cost.

Dreadful online shopping experience!

I ordered an available in the store item online with a request for collection from one od Stephanie stores, I was supposed to get a notification when the item will be ready for collection. It’s been 5 days, I made 2 calls, sent an email and still no confirmation received, although during the last call the gent said that he thinks it’s ready. It’s the slowest service ever. I requested a full refund, who knows how long this will take. Dreadful experience. Stephanie never again ❌❌❌

called the shop and asked if they have a specific laptop available in the town and they said no but when my friend called the same number and asked the same thing they magically have the laptop. We decided to hold on to it but minutes later they call us and say that someone else held onto it online and that online customers come first even tho we were the first ones. Big BS . All happened in Stephanis of Pafos. Would also like to know why online customers come first even tho we have called first.
