Horrible customer service

I ordered a product for Christmas. $125. Nowhere did it say when I was about to press pay that there is no refund, all sales are final no exchanges. So I made my purchase. Then I realize that I wish I ordered a different product. So I screwed up. I sent an email asking for them to swap the product in the same price range. I got a response saying no refunds and that all sales are final… then I tried to call. The girl kept saying the same exact thing didn’t matter what I said all sales are final. That’s horrible customer service. They have it stated in the faqs section of their fine print and that’s the only place that it is on the entire website or ordering area. That’s poor customer service.

No value for consumers!

It’s extremely disappointing when foreigners who are just trying to take advantage of Black Friday deals to actually be able to afford these luxuries, just get penalised and are given no help to actually rectify the matter from the brand.

Order placed during Black Friday sale, order went through..
My bank account was deducted and then refunded just to find out the order was cancelled.

Customer service was of no assistance to try and help the working class who are trying afford these luxuries with a crushing exchange rate while still supporting the brand.
The attitude was just we are sorry, Please feel free to contact us again if you have further questions, happy to help!

Happy help ? Really I given multiple solutions like creating a new cart with the same discounts, a separate payment link so I could try again or even an in-store discount for when I am in the states.
As these discounts are the only way foreigners are able to afford such things.

Which was all met with “If you would like you can follow Kylie on her socials here and subscribe to our email list here for all updates and promotions”.

I can’t get an order I made with my own credit card and then told too bad try again later.
As the solution given is to have to pay full price in future, or wait for another promotion while increasing the brands instagram following, if I am to order again because it could of somehow been fraudulent transaction but the client (me) is saying it’s not.

Is there no sense of brand appreciate of the consumer?
Utterly disgusted that there’s no sense loyalty to the consumer base.
Is this really in service to the customer?

Honest review from an avid makeup lover

Okay so this review isn't going to have a lot of detail surrounding the longevity, wearability or pigment etc - I've only just received my package yesterday and have only swatched my items.

I recently bought the nightmare on elm street bundle as I am a huge horror fan and honestly the packaging and collaboration excited me the most. I've never owned anything from kylie cosmetics or skin so I can't compare it to her other products but this is me reviewing her products at face value. So let's begin

Packaging:
Initially I was extremely excited for this collaboration as I'm a huge horror fan and I'm a sucker for luxury and exciting packaging - this is what led me to buying the bundle. The packaging was a slight disappointment, however I do know that anyone can make anything look incredible in a photo as opposed to real life. The packaging is like the photos in terms of the design, but it looks incredibly cheap. I paid £90 for this bundle and having seen kylie cosmetics through social media, I was under the impression that this was a luxury brand or at least on the higher end of the 'makeup brand' spectrum. For the money I've paid and the emphasis kylie has placed on the design, I expected a little bit more than cheap flimsy cardboard packaging. The lip/cheek jelly specifically honestly looks like makeup I would buy from Claires accessories. When I compare this to other brands I've used, e.g. makeup revolution, their packaging is definitely made to last despite being a cheap and affordable brand (no hate on MR, I love their products). Kylie herself is portrayed as someone who has incredible wealth and riches and a life of luxury, something I thought would also transfer to her products to uphold her celebrity status, but no, the packaging is lack lustre.

Lip/cheek stain:
So again, this isn't going to be specifically about the quality of her products but I wanted to make this point anyway in saying that it just looks cheap. The jelly does look pigmented and smells good, but again I could easily get the same thing from Claire accessories for a fraction of the price. The jelly itself arrived very congealed looking and was slightly separated - BUT, 1. It is jelly and this has happened with my other jelly products and 2. It may relate to how long it was in shipping for (US to UK). So no criticism there, just an observation

Lashes:
Not alot to say aside from very cheap looking packaging and the fact that they look like Ardell wispie lashes with the kylie label smacked on. Again, ardell lashes cost a fraction of the price.

Lipstick bundle:
I will say I really like this packaging, it looks a little bit more luxury and higher end than the other products in the bundle. The colours are gorgeous and I'm excited to wear them.

Eyeshadow palette:
So I like the packaging but still looks cheap looking and upon opening the pallette, it straight away brought me back to memories of claires accessories makeup or the free and cheap makeup that was included in magazines for young girls. The gold colour specifically was very crumbly and almost looked like it had half of the product scooped out? The texture was pretty rough, gritty yet chalky feeling which I know does happen with shimmer/glitter pressed eyeshadow but I have seen other brands with a better and almost buttery texture. So I know that it's possible for this to be a better texture - and let's be real it's not like she can't afford to have good quality products?

So overall, this is mainly just my initial impression. Some pros, some cons. My overall feeling from this bundle is 'eh', could be worse but it could have been better and in terms of marketing value, there are many things that could've been improved for kylie to maximise her profit - (not that she's worried about money I'm sure!) So I wouldn't tell people to avoid this collaboration at all costs, but I wouldn't recommend it either.

Absolute SCAM

Absolute SCAM. I purchased 2 keto products. Technically meant to do one. I clicked on one of the advertisements before the check out and it added another $30 item without letting me review my purchase. I contacted customer support and had no reply. I did not sign up for anything. Later, another $200 was stolen out of my account. Then I changed my card info and they still somehow managed to steal another $97 out of my account a couple days ago, months after the original purchase. Not to mention, the keto pills made my boyfriend profusely sick. I'd give negative stars if I had the option.

I dont want to give any star to kileycosmetics. Its a scam. I ordered items 2 months back worth 70$ and I did not receive my item. I have been sending emails to the customer service and they are absolutely worthless. They send me automated emails that my product is on transit and that I should contact my local post office which I did several times and they have no clue. This is a complete scam!!! Please do not order from this brand. They take your money and then send you stupid emails

I was scammed

Back in like 2018 christmas I ordered 3 items worth 60$ and till this day they havent arrived. I sent them emails asking for refunds and all and they said my order did not exist. I used the support email from the website and I'm 100% sure the website was valid. I'm still extremely mad with the results of purchasing from here especially because my dad is a hard worker and most of his earnings go to tax or child support to my mother. This was an upsetting event for us all.

The kybrows line actually sucks

The kybrows line actually sucks. There’s barely any product in the tubes, the pencil is so frail, and the over all quality of what product there is really sucks. Drug store eye brow lines are way better and way cheaper. Definitely a flop.

Like everyone else I got suckered. I ordered a security camera and the sent me a chip no instructions or anything. Not even a receipt or a contact to call and say they sent the wrong stuff. This company must go, don't know where they are located but they are a scam.

Awful quality

I bought a lipkit a while back, it arrived and I tried it. The colour was beautiful but as soon as it dried it felt very uncomfortable and was really drying on my lips. It also started to crack and flake off into my mouth within 5 minutes. I watched a few YouTube reviews and thought it must have been bad luck. So I recently bought Boujee to see if it's any better. It arrived today and when I took the lipstick out of the packaging the lipstick is literally all lumpy and dried up. I can't even use it. Stay away. Absolutely awful quality. I'll never buy again.
