Item is not like picture. They use other pictures. It’s it’s utter cheap tat when it arrives and then they expect you to pay to return it to China! Do not buy from them

I have never dealt with a more difficult company - not based in the UK, as their website suggests, but in China.
I ordered five light fittings last autumn, but only one arrived in the time specified for delivery. I contacted them to enquire about the other four and was told they’d be some weeks away. I tried to cancel the order and return the one I had as needed the fittings for a deadline. I was told that this was not possible but I could return them once I receive delivery some weeks later. This I tried to do but was offered a 20% discount to keep them and a suggestion that I give them as Christmas presents!! I was then given two addresses one in China and one in France to send them back at my own cost of £40, but they refused to accept delivery and they were returned to me. It took six months to go through my credit card company but they issued me with a refund. There was a lot of paperwork to go through, so I would suggest to anybody else thinking of buying from this company to think again.

Placed an order, and they emailed 10 days later to cancel it, avoid at all cost please, glad they canceled to be honest, after reading all the reviews about their quality.

Very disappointing experience.

The item I received did not match the product advertised on the website. The material was different from the listing and the dimensions were also inaccurate. The quality was not what was presented in the product photos.

When I requested a return and refund, I was told I would need to return the item to a warehouse in China at my own expense.

Unfortunately, based on this experience I would not recommend purchasing from this company.

Please, please, please think carefully before you buy anything from this company. I am now in a legal battle with PayPal about trying to get my money back. The items arrived weeks after they had promised, the items looked like a kid had made them, I still haven’t received some of the items I paid for, then in order to return the items you have to send them back to China, you pay the cost of this, and they are now deliberately refusing the returned items so they can avoid giving me my refund. I wouldn’t wish this pain on anyone apart from the owners of this corrupt company!

The lights are stylish and very good quality

a friend of ours wasted over £600 on this light
- product 15234289 - which took over 3 weeks to arrive
connected up and it lit for about 1 second, lamp 24 wanted over half the cost to return it (no consumer rights as it is not a UK company!) and eventually offered a 50% refund which they took and asked me to look at
I am an electronics engineer so I pulled it all apart to find abysmal LED driver circuitry, poor wiring, a lot of the LED's were black and a lot of those that werent were physically damaged or chipped - obviously due to over-voltage and poor build quality when installed.......to cap it all the earth "wire" on the metal casing had no wire in it - yep, I kid you not it was just a piece of yellow & green plastic!!!
I have managed to re-wire it with a proper driver and 12V LED strips so it now works but as supplied it was useless, potentially dangerous and the company simply did not want to know
If they were a UK company I would have taken it to trading standards but theres no point with a Chinese company.....AVOID !

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE. TRANSFORMER WAS DEFECTIVE ON ARRIVAL, INSTALLED LIGHT AND INSTANTLY BROKE DUE TO TRANSFORMER DELIVERING TOO MUCH VOLTAGE TO LEDS. HAVE HAD AN ELECTRICIAN LOOK AT IT AND SAID THE TRANSFORMER IS NOT NOT ONLY FAULTY BUT WOULD NEVER MEET UK STANDARDS, THE GROUND WIRE HAD NO WIRE IN IT AND TO TOP IT OFF WHEN WE OPENED UP THE SHADE THE LEDS WERE PHYSICALLY BROKEN WHICH MEANS THEY WOULD'VE BEEN DAMAGED WHEN INSERTED. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, SCAM SITE!

Visit lightsandlamps instead. This company takes their images and pretends to sell the real thing. This is a scam site and should be avoided.

I bought a lamp delivered according the time defined and just like the photos. Customer service was very good as well.

Shocking experience. Avoid like the plague. I ordered 4 lights, after waiting for weeks for them to arrive (several chasers and emails back and forth) the lights finally arrived in the UK from China, only to find they only sent 2 of them. When I emailed to query where the other 2 were I was informed they were out of stock and would be dispatched in a few weeks (despite them never mentioning it in previous emails!). When I asked to return the lights as I didn’t want to wait they became exceptionally difficult, I am still waiting for a refund.

It is a shame as the lights themselves were very nice. The poor communication, extortionate shipping time, and appalling after care would mean I would never recommend anyone shop here.

bad lamps (terrible quality, overpriced), horrible customer service.

All came fine.

I ordered a lamp which looked great in the photos and after a month of waiting received it with a broken frame. After discussing with support they agreed to send me. Replacement metal frame which was not broken (another 4 weeks later since they come direct from china. When I finally started to assemble I found it poor quality, glass pieces that were misshapen and inaccurately drilled for their brackets. It took me hours to assemble and the result is wonky and some pieces barely held on due to the inaccuracy of the holes. I asked the customer support if I could return it and all I got was silence. Multiple attempts to get a response failed. Considering the price I paid the quality is poor and customer service unacceptable. I will not be a repeat customer and never recommend this site to anyone. If you want a cheap product from China use Ali express where the price is fairer and choice better!

SCAM. The lamp is not what it looked like on their website and not only they don't want to exchange or refund me, they are also mansplaining how a lamp works to me on email... what a SCAM. They also did not post my 1* review on their product page.. (of course)

The lamp took way too long to arrive! when it was scheduled to be delivered (customer service was not helpful at finding out when that might be) we were not at home. there were so many back and forth emails trying to get the parcel delivered it was extremely annoying and a waste of time. I hade to arrange for a neighbour to collect it. the lamp itself feels cheaply made and extremely fragile. when I did not want to keep it I had to return it myself and pay 20% "re-warehousing fee". I absolutely cannot recommend this shop.

Simply a scam.

Bought a lamp without really reading reviews. Received a month later broken and a cheap knock off what I’d actually bought.

I’ve done a charge back with my bank and have been asked multiple times to cancel it to get a full refund.

I ordered from lamp24.co.uk under the clear impression that this was a UK-based business. In reality, this is a Chinese company and the product was shipped from China and took over 5 weeks to arrive, meaning it completely missed the timeframe I needed it for.

This is extremely misleading. Had it been clear at the point of purchase that the item was being shipped from China, I would not have ordered.

To make matters worse, the returns process is wholly unreasonable — I am required to ship the item back to China at my own cost, which is both expensive and impractical. They have no UK returns address.

Overall, this feels dishonest and poorly disclosed. I would strongly caution others who assume they are buying from a UK retailer with UK-standard delivery and returns.
