Order and PAID for 2 lamps in February
Order and PAID for 2 lamps in February. Delivery was originally 2-3 weeks with a March date set. This was then changed with no communication to June. Checked on the site again today and this is now set for September. No response from chat or email
6 months later, no lamp, no refund, no responses
Very poor experience with LampTwist. I placed order #131934 on 27 November 2025 and, as of June 2026, I still have not received my full order. One Tala Alumina Table Lamp is still missing.
I have contacted the company several times asking for an update, delivery date, or resolution, but they have not responded properly. I also sent a formal written notice on 30 May 2026 and then a final follow-up after the deadline expired, but I still received no response.
There is also an unresolved VAT issue. I was charged 3,909.46 CZK in VAT even though the purchase was made under company details using an EU VAT/tax number. I raised this with them several times and provided documents they requested, but the issue has still not been resolved.
In my experience, the customer service has been extremely poor, communication has been almost non-existent, and the order remains incomplete more than six months after purchase. I would not recommend ordering from this company unless you are prepared to chase repeatedly and potentially still receive no resolution.

Kartell Lamp - UK DDP Order Resulted in Debt Collection Letter
I purchased a Kartell Aledin lamp from LampTwist and paid a £20 delivery charge for shipment to the UK.
At the time of purchase, LampTwist stated that UK orders were shipped Delivered Duties Paid (DDP), with UK VAT and import duties included and ‘no hidden fees or extra charges upon delivery’.
Despite this, I later received a demand for customs charges and a debt collection letter seeking £43.52, made up of an £11.52 charge plus a £32 administration fee.
I have contacted LampTwist and asked them to investigate and resolve the matter. At the time of writing, LampTwist has ignored my emails and the issue remains unresolved.
I will update this review if the matter is satisfactorily addressed.
UPDATE 1 - 11 June
I am still waiting for Lamtwist to reply to my emails. I have sent multiple emails to their support team but have had no response.
I can see that when you leave a negative review on TrustPilot they respond within minutes. This is probably to give other potential customers a false perception that they respond quickly when they do not.
I have had to make multiple calls to Control Account (the debt collector) and DHL. I have managed to get DHL to take the charge back. I have had to pay the £11.52 shipping charge in order to prevent escalation again. DHL have confirmed that LampTwist did not pay all of the delivery duties. I would like LampTwist to reimburse me for the charge but given their lack of response to date, I see little chance of this happening.
Anyone using this company please be aware!

WORST COMPANY EVER. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. I ordered a carpet worth around 350£, I didn't like it so I returned it, which cost another 70£ because of course this terrible company doesn't cover refunds. The package was returned, and yet THEY NEVER REFUNDED ME. Absolutely awful company do not purchase anything from them.
I did contact their customer service and they still haven't refunded me.

You did not mention that the product will jave ti be imported. Therefor I cannot grt tax back and I did not quote on extra inport tax, so I am paying in on the deal as I cannot afterwards tell my client there is extra costs.

do not do business with Lamptwist. I bought a console table in April 2026 for A$1099 plus $163 shipping. I have invoices and delivery note documents to show that this was stated to be the price. When the product arrived in Aust, their shipper sent me an invoice for A$303.11 import duty. Then the shipper sent me an additional invoice for A$107 for biosecurity inspection fee. That is a total of A$573.11 shipping, which is >50% of the purchase price of the table. To make matters worse, when I contacted them they have 'doubled down' in protecting their margin and not looking after customers, by sending me a link of their now updated website fine print which says customers must do their own research regarding import duties and customers are responsible for all charges, regardless of whether Lamptwist had any friggin idea of what charges may eventuate for shipping their product to Aust. Terrible attitude, dishonest. An easy company to assemble a class action for - so, please let me know if you've had a similar experience and we will take legal action. And no, I do not believe you if you are a mate of theirs and claim to be a satisfied customer. To charge more than 50% in shipping because you have no idea about shipping charges is not a problem you should inflict on customers who simply wish to buy a table.

I’ve tried to reach out to Lamptwist regarding my Kartell Lamp I purchased from them which is no longer working after 6 months . No response .
No returns allowed only store credit
Ordered an applique that was supposedly in stock. After two weeks no response with shipment information. I contacted and asked to cancel the order, they refused and have announced at least another two weeks to fulfill my order. I think it’s insane that you cannot return or cancel an order especially when they don’t respect the original delivery date.

Poor customer service and delivery timescales wrong!
I ordered chandeliers to Dubai 3 weeks ago. 32K AED, 6k GBP, 9k USD they cost. All were in stock when I added to my basket, in fact I removed one that was due to be restocked a week so I knew all were IN STOCK ready to be dispatched. I emailed them to ensure the package would be delivered on time VIA AIR not shipment due to Middle East issued at present. Was assured YES by air and delivery timescales were a week. I'm now passed a renovation deadline and I have emailed them countless times for help or an update, they reply to me once every 5 days, their phone line is cut off, they don't tell you your order status when you ask them so have spent all of this money and genuinely have NO CLUE where the lights are, when they will come, if they will come and they cant even pick up the phone and call me despite me asking them everyday to call me. Not sure what to do as theres only one email address which is clearly inundated with complaints. Their last email to me basically said stop sending emails. Anyone have a number that works? or know what to do

Won’t recommend them at all
They are not upfront about the custom fee you will be responsible. On top of, in my case, item was completely shuttered (vase) and the refund couldn’t be made for the custom portion - $70. Basically, left with no item and paid the custom. What a joke
