Great experience!

First of all, it was the cheapest offer of the object that I could find! The website was very simply held and it was easy to order. The delivery took just two days. The product had a very small defect which I reported and I was helped directly. Thank you a lot!

The product looks great

The product looks great, everything arrived on time. When I contacted the support with questions, my emails were answered immediately. The only thing that bothered me was, that after I purchased the lamp and payed for everything (including the shipping costs stated on the e-shop web site), I received an email about necessary additional shipping cost due to the size of my order. Given the total price of the lamp I ordered, the price of the shipping was almost the same amount. I would have appreciated, that the shipping cost had been correctly calculated prior to the purchase. Otherwise the quality of the product is very good.

Horrible Experience

Horrible experience. Paid a fortune for shipping to the US, only to then find out a customs charge was also added - another $150 which I refused to pay. No communication from Lamptwist as to why this happened. In the end, I paid $280+ for a planter - and received $11 refund and no product. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM if you are in the USA. Yeah, our president is a joke, but buyer beware!

Beware before you order from LampTwist

I ordered the lamp from LampTwist assuming it would be in a USA warehouse. However, apparently I did not read the fine print and it was sent from Belgium Therefore, I was obligated to pay Customs Tax (approximately $121). If that weren't bad enough, the lamp, and light bulbs that came with it are 220 Volt. So we cannot use it in our U.S. home. This information should have been put forth more clearly on your site. What a waste of money for me. In order to use it I will have to change the electric wire/plugs, or use an adapter, to fit a USA outlet. Also, will have to locate 110-240 light compatible lightbulbs. I am very dissatisfied.

I would not recommend buying products…

I would not recommend buying products from this website. The shipping fee is already very expensive, but it still does not include tax. After the package arrives, you have to pay extra tax again. What is worse is that the website does not clearly show at checkout that the shipping fee excludes tax, so customers may reasonably think that such a high shipping cost already covers everything.

Very difficult company to communicate…

I ordered a few items but did not receive an order confirmation email. When I tried to cancel or adjust my order, it wasn’t possible without an order number—which I didn’t have because the confirmation email never arrived.

There’s also no way to find a contact email on their website. I replied to a marketing email and even tried an address I found, but received no response.

Three days later, I finally got the confirmation email with my order number—but by then, they said the order had already been processed/shipped.

What was not true it took almost 2 more month to receive the orders. I tried two more times to cancel the order but without success.

Now I have the hassle of returning it, they want to charge 35 Euro for a return from Portugal, the order was only 100 euro.
