Las Iguanas Gunwarf Portsmouth. Went for a bottomless brunch the service was so slow we barely managed to get 5 drinks per person so not exactly bottomless. When they tried to offer another drink said no due to how long it took them to bring the drinks. Service was so slow it was depressing. The tripple taco taxi can barely be called a meal. And to top it off they tried to charge us nearly £13 in service charges. WHAT SERVICE. Waiter walked past multiple times without checking on our table. Very unproffesional. I left the place hungry sober and robbed. Food was nice what little they gave me. Would never return.

We wanted to sit outside and were told to use the app, extremely unpersonal. The app was not working very well and we had to go in and ask for a menu. When it finally worked you are supposed to give a tip when you order your food. Why would we, no one looked after us. We both ordered the salad. That is under the main dishes and costs £13.50. The butternut cubes are tiny. It could actually be a side salad. It felt like a complete rip off and we went to Weatherspoons after that because it was so unsatisfying. In December the portions were definitely much bigger. And they also forgot my friend's wine. She had to go and ask for it.

Shockingly expensive and bland food. Had chicken wing starters which were bland. The mixed grills we had for mains were mega overpriced and so bland. Steak was cheap and horrible, the chicken was burnt, chips stale and even the corn was over done.

Why chiquitos shut for this I’ll never know.

Called in for lunch. Sign on desk with a long list of what wasn't available!!! Apparently no delivery and two fryers were broke. Food was good, curry wasn't fiery though, burger didn't have bacon so ordered another burger without bacon! I think the two staff were overworked, so service could off been better. 2 for 1 cocktails were good.

Hen party bottomless brunch at Newcastle branch,food order placed well in advance....waiting for drink for over 20mins....not good at all!

Beautiful meal at your L1 restaurant. All staff were lovely and the food was delicious.

I don't even know where to start... I was at a work meal with my colleagues last week after a long day. And I can't believe how shocking the service was - we ended up leaving without dessert because we'd been there just under 3 hours and people were restless and wanting to go home at that point. You expect to enjoy a good meal, have a laugh and a few drinks and leave within a reasonable time. Because we were a larger group we double checked and got asked to pre-book our meal due to the group size, this is understandable. Only to find out on the day that only one chef was working - even though they knew they were expecting us, other bookings and public. It was bad i was finishing my meal when others were still waiting at my table for their food. Don't get me wrong the food was delicious, cant knock that.

I was celebrating so ordered a cocktail which wasn't seen! I waited about 30/40 minutes for it and it was like they forgot it was at this point we decided to leave as we didn't think we would have to wait that long for dessert & drinks. Don't get me wrong, I understand it was a bigger table to cover and i appreciate that but to be there nearly 3 hours and people still be waiting for drinks theyd ordered and we hadnt even had dessert at thie 2 hour 40 mark to me thats just ridiculous.... what an absolute joke!!!

Ordered food via uber eats and was made to wait an hour and fifty minutes which normally I wouldn't mind if the food was any good. Ordered a burger which was so overdone it was like cardboard, paid £11 for two portions of chips which were literally a hand full each, Ordered a can of diet coke and a regular coke (which I paid extra for?!) And got two diets, and when the food finally arrived everything was stone cold. Absolutely disgusting, won't be ordering anything from here again

We were quickly and cordially seated and looked after nicely.
The food was hot, well presented and it tasted great.
Very happy with the whole experiacne.

I was unable to cash in a discount which was one per person but they said there was a policy of "one code per table", we were also unable to pay at the bar.

Bristol Harbourside - SHOCKING!

I booked a bottomless brunch for a Thursday evening for 7 people as a work event. I wish i'd read the reviews ahead of time. The service was shocking and the managers attitude even worse. There were about 7 staff and no more than 30 customers, so they weren't busy, yet still they took over 15 minutes each time we ordered a drink, served cold food and when I spoke to the manager about it he couldn't care less. I requested they up the service or I'd leave without paying and was told ' just do what you want' as he couldn't guarantee any level of service.
We left, popped over the square to the Slug an Lettuce who were brilliant and couldn't do enough for us.

Extremely noisy needed to shout to br heard food OK but not brilliant and very expensive for quality

Looking at the star rating reviews that Las Iguanas have received so far, I'm not surprised I'm writing this. We only booked this place because we couldn't get in where we originally wanted. Absolute shambles/rip off. £35 for bottomless brunch and more if you added extras on like chips because they didn't come as standard with anything!! The staff started bringing pitchers out (3 x different flavours) of cocktails; probably about a capful of alcohol in each pitcher. These were coming out like a conveyor belt; clearly to distract us from ordering the hard stuff. When asked (there were 11 if us at this brunch) for coctails, some of the waiters were saying there were no ingredients to make them! The food was even worse. Mine was a plate of leaves (went to McDonald's afterwards I was so hungry). To add insult to injury,they added a "Gratuity" charge on for £45!! I asked for this to be removed (we decide whether the service we received warrants a tip; it didnt). I could go on, but I think you get the gist. Avoid at all costs and go somewhere else......seriously. don't take my word for it, look at the other reviews.....never again.

Amazing service and care given by Bruno. He was attentive, knowledgeable of the products and so welcoming. He served with a smile and helped rectify an issue with ease and understanding. 10 stars for excellent service and care. Thank you Bruno

Just had lunch in Torquay and would highly recommend. A busy bank holiday but the staff were welcoming and the service was excellent. Fantastic options of food and all was delicious. We were served by Scott and he was brilliant. Quick, attentive and informative.

Where do I start? I am on a school trip and we booked our food months ago! We have arrived and ordered our drinks, the cups are disgusting and 100% not clean. Our food has taken 30 minutes to have food come out of the kitchen, I understand that 40 kids to feed is a lot but when burgers come out the bread should not be stale, the meat should be in the burger. The waiter came out to our table 5 times with the wrong order. One of my friends had ordered the chicken burger and it was undercooked. I don’t understand how this place is still up and running. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I would also like to comment on the cheese burger it is just plain cheese and very stale bread this food is horrible and there’s no way on planet earth anyone can enjoy the food here it’s vile the bread was way to soggy on the inside and very stale on the outside and very cold the bread was also burnt. Hands down worst restaurant ever. The bathrooms are rusty and disgusting.

Luke was a great host and the food was really nice. Two for one cocktails may have contributed to our enjoyment!
