Absolutely appalling company. I ordered an item which stated that it would take 1 week. I received the first half of my item two weeks later and have yet to receive the remainder of my order and it’s been almost a month. Communication is awful. They take days to reply to your email and when they do they are absolutely useless. They ring you and then claim they can’t hear you, or just hang up!! My order still hasn’t come in full and they still can’t tell me when it will do! All they offered to give me was the delivery fee of 5 pounds. No offer of any compensation or discount of any kind. I found them a little rude on the email to be honest. Avoid this company like the plague!! I will be taking this further.

Still waiting for delivery, I have been waiting months due to date being pushed back. Going to cancel my delivery.

I wish I had read the reviews about delayed delivery dates before ordering . I have not received the furniture I ordered so far mu delivery date has already changed twice which also makes me very concerned about the quality of the product when it dies arrive . I am now trying to cancel my order and reorder with another company that could have delivered the next day

Ordered the Shiro outdoor sofa, chairs and coffee table. I know I was in for a wait as advised by the website, but it even went past the estimated date. I had to contact them, no updates and they had been paid in full upon order. When the furniture arrived, it had clearly been opened before. One cushion was no longer vacuum packed like the others and the box had lots of extra tape on it. There was dents and damage to the items. I decided I want to return it. And here’s the fun bit. They made me wait 2 weeks before they would arrange collection. I had to wait for the product team to review it. Not sure why as I didn’t want to keep the products. It has finally been collected 12 days ago….no refund. Awful company to deal with. Never again! Quick to take your money and then won’t give it back.

We had a very bad experience with Laura James whereby we had ordered a table for a wedding event. It arrived 3 weeks late and broken - with a replacement table not ready until the new year.

Whilst this raises wider issues at Laura James (and we will not be shopping there again) I cannot fault their customer service at all. In particular Leeroy, the customer service to come to an effective resolution was second to none and the team made a terrible situation a lot less stressful. The 3 stars represents the overall experience but the customer service was 5 stars.

I am really impressed with the service from Laura James. I would like to give a special mention to Joshua Benjamin; when I called looking for specific measurements for the inside of the sideboard I was ordering, he went away and got them specifically for me within 24 hours, even including a diagram in the email. First class service, I am looking forward to my sideboard arriving.

Choice, value for money, quick delivery and their Customer Service who were very helpful

I had a great experience with Rushdah Castle. She was very professional, friendly and genuinely helpful throughout. She made everything so easy and was always attentive and efficient. Really excellent customer service and such a lovely person to deal with. Thank you, Rushdah!

For there to be a rating of 4.8 on the Laura James website they must be very selective on what they consider.

Our experience has been nothing short of terrible.

Laura James has passed our complaint around for MONTHS. Days at a time to reply to an email saying they’ll investigate further……time after time after time.

They delivered the incorrect furniture. It was built by the time my wife got home and now, despite MONTHS of backwards and forwards we STILL have mismatching dining room table and chairs.

We have made several suggestions to Laura James to try to conclude but we get nowhere. More emails saying they will investigate.

After spending what we did, we are, quite frankly, disgusted with their customer service and will never use Laura James again.

Avoid.

Further Update 1/9/26: Received a reply to this review saying that the matter would be investigated further (despite this going on for weeks). Kicking the matter into touch again?

Also, contacted my wife stating they'd call her today. Surprise, surprise........no call.

Unfortunately a part in my order had been damaged, but I phoned up and Kourhar from Laura James was very helpful and understanding. She ordered me new parts and talked me through the process. (On a Sunday!) Many thanks, Tim
