Unexpected price increase
Waited for the Trinity Solid gold laberet back stud to come in for months. Emailed the company who replied very promptly saying it would be in stock in two weeks time. Kept checking on a weekly basis. It finally came in stock and but they put the price up by £30! Emailed the company asking why they did this and funnily enough no reply.

Thank you so much for your patience while waiting for the Trinity Solid Gold Labret Back Stud to come back into stock. We completely understand how frustrating it must have felt to then see a price increase.
Like many jewellery brands, we’ve unfortunately had to review our pricing over the past year due to the significant rise in gold costs, which have surged by around 80% in the last 12 months. We held our prices for as long as we possibly could, but as this piece is crafted from solid gold, the increase in raw material costs directly impacts production. The £30 adjustment reflects that change and truly wasn’t made lightly.
As a fully independent small business, we operate on significantly lower margins than standard high street jewellery brands. We work very hard to keep our pricing as fair and accessible as possible while maintaining the quality of materials and craftsmanship we’re proud of. We genuinely believe the current price reflects very fair value for a solid gold piece of this quality.
We’re also very sorry that you didn’t receive a reply to your email. We did attempt to respond on a few occasions, but unfortunately the messages were returned to us as undeliverable. We completely appreciate how that would have appeared from your side, and we’re sorry for the confusion.

Was not happy with size
This stone & colour was stunning and very well made in white gold
but I will say on photograph on IG made the green stone twice the size in many photo .
so I was very left disappointed & sad when it arrive as it was half the size u can barely see it when in your ear .
For the size and cost it didn’t seem worth it as u can’t see the stone in ur ear . Mine is in the flat piercing .
Teach me lesson to check stone size before buying
the photos on IG are very misleading in the jewellery size .

Stunning jewellery and exceptional experience
I found Laura Bond in Edinburgh late last year and was thrilled. This is the third time I have been back, twice for a piercing. I love supporting small businesses, especially when they are as special as this one. It’s really hard to find somewhere where the piercing jewellery is made solely in gold. Especially when the designs are as unique and special as these. The customer service is exceptional as is the aftercare. I thoroughly recommend them to anyone A+++

mixed - i ordered two pieces, one perfect and I love and the other was a very wide stem which I couldnt fit in my ear - Laura Bond refused to take it back and refund and suggested I go to have my earring hole widened so it could fit!

We’re really pleased that you loved one of your pieces, and we completely understand how frustrating it must have been when the other didn’t fit as expected. The 16 gauge post is the industry standard size for most body jewellery and professional piercings, which is why this measurement is used across many of our designs and is detailed in our product descriptions.
Over time, if piercings have been done with a gun or if thin jewellery has been worn continuously, the piercing channel can naturally shrink. When this happens, standard-sized jewellery can feel wider than expected, even though it is the correct professional size.
For hygiene and safety reasons, we’re unable to accept returns on earrings that have been tried on or worn, which is why a refund wasn’t possible in this case. We’re also sorry if our advice didn’t come across in the right way, it was never our intention to cause any upset.
We recommended either using a professional piercing taper tool, which we offer to help gently guide jewellery in at home, or visiting a reputable local piercer who can assist with fitting safely and comfortably. This is always suggested with our customers’ wellbeing in mind.

I'm truly impressed with the exquisite…
I'm truly impressed with the exquisite items in the Laura Bond collection. I've had to reorder the same ones multiple times because both my sister and mom have developed a fondness for them! The crystal charms, the elegant solid gold clicker hoops, the crystal star, and the northern star are all favorites. We're loyal to this brand due to its unique 4mm earring thread and the superior quality of their products, making us uninterested in exploring others.

Misleading
my tragus piecing had been healed for years but one tragus stud Laura bond had, opal really made my ears sore. I then changed my jewellery and my ear was fine.
Their Jewellry made my ear sore and the fastening was very difficult to undo. Was a waste of money . Should have read the reviews first

1st purchase
Bought my first couple of pieces from Laura bond online and what can i say... they are absolutely beautiful, i have been looking for a few dainty pieces of jewellery for my tragus and forward helix for a while now. I absolutely love the delicate pieces…
I absolutely love the delicate pieces available in the Laura Bond range and I have ended up having to order the same pieces several times as my sister and mum in turn have fallen in love with them! From the crystal charms, the dainty solid gold clicker hoops, the crystal star to the northern star, they have all proven big hits. We would not entertain any other makes thanks to the exclusive 4mm thread on the earrings and the high quality of the pieces.
