I was inquiring online to get a consultation with a Lawn Doctor representative. Some guy named Kenneth quoted $846 without having seen my lawn. Sounds like a scam.

Was having troubles with patching lawn, I was advised how to check for sun surface bugs and then given the treatment for army worms,, was a miracle turnaround within a week from brown to green,, brilliant as always service from these guys

Just received Stage1 Hybrid and Spring Soil Enrichment by Zach. He is a top quality representative of Lawn Doctor and a true professional.

Ive been a customer for few years, this year chose a different company whobis much cheaper. Was surprised to see that they decided to continue with the service although i dod not confirm it. Josh, who is probably one of the managers or the manager, was very rude when I asked about that, lost his temper and hung up the phone. Terrible customer service, expensive, be carfull

It's kind of a shame these guys use fake photos in their ads. Fake Photoshop is not a good business practice.

Poor customer service. Was more concerned about uploading payment before the service actually happened. This company should provide an option to have your payment uploaded without being billed first. Glad they told me to take my business and go elsewhere, after the reviews I was saved as their product is destroying yards... GOD IS GOOD.

Do not use Lawn Doctor. Had them for over a year and finally cancelled after they completely ruined my lawn. My neighbor actually laughed at me over spending so much money and he used no one for his.

I cannot recommend Lawn Doctor at this time. Whatever they applied to my lawn killed off all my grass and left bald spots. The application was only suppose to kill off weeds. If I can give a no star rating I would so I gave a one star.

I can’t get in touch with Lawn Doctor to cancel my service. Since I have been using them for over 2 years, my front yard has NO grass. And yet, can’t get in touch via email to cancel. If you call corporate, they tell you to call the local but I can’t get through on the phone. If you no longer have a lawn, you should be able to easily cancel this service. And why oh why has no one from the company commented on my ever shrinking front lawn??? Now I have to buy an entire new lawn. My back yard has so many areas of mud and dirt too. I used to have a beautiful yard.

Like others….I cancelled lawn service - in writing - in early Nov 2023. Company did not follow my request…sent a email saying I had one more application. They sprayed the yard and then sent an $89 bill.
Other reviewers have similar stories….the Lawn Doctor did only “an okay job” on the weeds…but their arrogance, unwillingness to honor a customers written cancelation, and aggressively abusive communication should convince you to find a better/ less costly / more customer centric lawn care company.

I grade them as F !!!!!

We have been using the Lawn Doctor in Copperas Cove,Texas, although I had been somewhat happy about their service, it appears things have begun to change lately, like not showing up for services and blaming it on the driver claiming they came but our gate was locked. If you didn't have time to come to my house, just call us and let us know. I waited for you all day. We have video cameras all over our house, no need to lie and say you did come when you didn't. Again -we have video cameras and you never came. Just recently we asked for one extra service on spraying for ants. You never told us it was going to be an extra $131.00 besides the $80.00 for the lawn. Forgive us for assuming it might be an extra $25.00 -No one gave us the extra price of $131.00. You just billed us and that was it. Because I called and complained -oh gosh thank you Brittany for dropping off $30.00. Since we have been a customer for at last a year or more, it should have been dropped by at least half the price. Will I continue to even use you for our lawn? I'm not to sure now. Sorry for the hang up, however I felt you were completely condescending to me. No I'm not requesting service. I will politely share elsewhere of my experience of this. Please advise your customers ahead of time what all prices are before sending them an outrageous bill. Please do not be so condescending.

I hired Lawn Doctor this past summer 2023 mainly to kill the weeds and fertilize.
What I've ended up with is I still have weeds and my grass looks ten times worse than when they first arrived.
I complained and they sent someone else out who wanted a further two hundred dollars to correct what was already their mess.
I can't recommend Lawn Doctor and wished I had read the previous reviews before wasting hundreds of dollars.

Throughout the summer my yard looked worse and worse. No comment or suggestion from our technician. Asked for a manager to see the yard and tell us what was wrong. Came out and sprayed, another $75. No response to two messages asking to talk to a manager who could tell us what was wrong. still looks terrible.
We pay hundreds of dollars for this service every year, but "service" isn't the right word to use with this company

I hired this company to take care of my lawn and the guy that was doing my yard was great, but all of a sudden he left the company. Now no one will come out in my area or even return my calls. This company is terrible for customer service and commitment to those who contract with them. The McDonough location is awful! No service in about four months and it’s beginning to show. 😡

A lot of talk and promises…that turn out to be a bunch of BS. My initial tech looked at the lawn and said oh yeah… I’ll get all of this … no problem. Said it would take 3 “treatments”, but I will see a big improvement after one. WRONG! Continued to get worse…then came “treatment”. Still … nothing… just more disintegration of my grass. Meanwhile the guy that originally came out to assess is not good with answering texts or calls. Then there was a snafu somehow
That caused something other than what was planned to be sprayed on my yard to be applied. Meanwhile, I’m trying to get answers to see why I’m not getting results… hard as hell to get someone at this place to stop and listen to the customer’s concerns. All that be is said… I’m out! I’m going a new and improved route. Good luck!

I don't think every technician shows their enthusiasm for helping me as a customer but on LD's last visit, Brendan M. was super friendly and treated the lawn areas where I had some concerns. He earned five gold stars that day!

Worst company ever to work with. Brian the manager didn’t help at all and blamed the problems they cause on “fungi”. I had an arborist come out and inspect it and he said it was excessive fertilization causing areas to get burnt out. Brian the manager sent a guy out to inspect it after I complained weeks later after the one treatment and even he said it was their problem they caused and they should fix it for free. Of course Brian the manager didnt want to take ownership and went against the workers evaluation and blamed it in something else while ignoring me as well. Wouldn’t chose this company at all or recommend it.

They come out sprinkle a few items and never come back to see the progression or failure of lawn. What good is that?. They say they will come out a few times per year which doesn't really help a Novice. I'd save the money. You can come out cheaper buying, fertilizer, bug control, etc your self and sprinkle it around because that's all they do.
