Having dealt only online with Lawson‘s Ascot, I had occasion to go to the actual site to pick up some timber. I was very impressed with my experience from the sales counter all the way through to being loaded and going home. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. Even though it looked like they were very busy, we still managed to get loaded and away in a reasonably short time. Thank you all very much.

Just want to say a big thanks to Elliot Young at Lawsons in Ascot. He’s been spot on with all my orders—always gets things sorted quickly and properly. Knows his stuff, easy to deal with, and actually cares about getting it right. Makes my life a lot easier when I’m busy on site. Proper helpful every time I’ve needed something. Placed order, given a time of between 8.00/12.00. Mid day came Nothing so rang, be with you in the next hour, at 3.00pm rang again to cancel order told , ok but would still have to pay delivery charges? Ascot then rang me to say van was very close, van arrived shortly and driver says there where no delivery in the morning due to van broken down ,did I still want to except the order. Why did ascot not mention van not working. Think they need to brush up on customers relationship.

I have been using Lawsons ascot for many years and they have always been great. Since losing everything in a bungalow fire however they have been nothing short of outstanding. My insurance company have been terrible causing so much stress. The guys at Lawsons are Knowledgeable, extremely kind and always ready to go the extra mile to help. This has made dealing with such an awful thing slightly easier. The supplies are always top quality and exactly what was needed.

Lawson @Ascot , I’m not a tradesman or DIY enthusiast so now very little to nothing about required fencing materials….

On entering yard I informed the yards man of my requirements and my lack of knowledge , who promptly pointed out fence panels I required size, height and colour … the shop personnel were very helpful, processed my order and were able to arrange delivery on the same day !!!

There was a short delivery of two items on a big order. I told the delivery man and asked in writing twice for the two missing items to be dropped off. I finally threatened to inform social media of their dreadful service and this is my first attempt to use Trustpilot.

UPDATE: October 20th, After informing social media and threatening to inform the Operations manger, the problem was resolved.

An answer to Lawsons, well I guess the driver would say that but what's more telling to me is after your investigation you couldn't even get my order correct in your reply.

An absolutely appalling service.
Went in to Ascot branch and ordered goods for delivery a week in advance. Bank holiday weekend approaching so I knew it would be best to get in early and ensure my spot. Friday, delivery day, not a peep from Lawsons, had to chase up the delivery at midday, the branch said they'd check with transport and call me back. That didn't happen so I called again, this time told they were experiencing transport issues and they could get to me today it and it would be tomorrow. That's one days work lost. Saturday comes no delivery so I chase at 11am, tole we'll check with transport and call you back. No call back. I call again at 11:30am told they wouldn't be able to deliver until Tuesday after BH Monday. I always try to support local businesses but now I will have to rethink my approach.

The whole service experience with Lawsons, from first to last was disappointing if not to say aggravating!

We ordered and paid for an arch plus a couple of fence panels on 15th April, and were told that there may be a delay on the order as the arch was not immediately available. I was told someone would be in touch with an update on the delivery time. But it wasn’t until I chased them up several times I was finally told the whole order would be delivered on Monday 29th April.

In stayed to take possession of the delivery, but nothing turned up and there was no apology for this. When I again contacted Lawsons I was told that if I had a problem I should contact a different Lawsons in outlet Ascot, as they were now dealing with my order.

Every time since then when I have been promised someone would let me know the status of my order, no one contacted me and I had to chase up directly to find out what was going on. The staff generally unhelpful if not rude when I complained that I was not happy with over a month delay in getting what I had already paid for.
It’s not that problems occurred that is an issue for me, but how the staff deal with customers and communicate what’s happening.

Finally, on 22nd May, having been offered no help or compensation for the very poor service I cancelled the order.

Very rude & patronising guy on the counter.I thought I had gone to the best place but will never go back or recommend them.

I went to buy a Trowel and I genuinely asked if they can do a little discount
He said I will give you a discount for sure and charged me the full amount and said it’s the best price to you, his colleague decided to join in and said ( Are you sure you allowed to give that much discount)
I paid and left the site and I will never go there again
I hope you guys had a good laugh after I left
