Moving into a rented property for the first time after living in a council house was a big change, and I was quite worried about the service and repairs in a private rental. However, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, thanks to my housing manager, Hayley Ann. She has been absolutely amazing—addressing every issue I’ve reported with efficiency and professionalism. She always answers my calls with such warmth that I can practically hear her smile. Her excellent communication skills and dedication make her truly stand out.

I also want to express my gratitude to CJ, the agent, for his incredible support throughout my big move. He was always responsive and ensured all my emails were answered promptly.

Thank you both for making this transition so much easier! :)

Vikki is an outstanding property manager, looking after my properties for years with professionalism and care. Managing repairs and renovations hasn’t always been easy, but she has handled every challenge efficiently and with great attention to detail. Her dedication and expertise make the entire process so much smoother—I truly couldn’t manage without her. Highly recommend her services!

Regarding cockroach infestation at Babington Court Derby.
You say that you have not managed the building since 2023.You approximately manage eighty percent of the apartments.
Infestations come from the occupied units.DO YOUR THREE MONTHLY INSPECTION CHECKS on the units you manage.

Leaders have been managing my property for more than 10 years, so far I have no problem whatsoever, all staff are helpful , particularly my current property manager Eleisha Thomas. If you are looking for an agency to manager you property I'd highly recommend Leaders-Derby

I have been working with Jas Gill in the property management team for a few months now, and she has been great. She responds to emails quickly, always available on the phone if there is any confusion over the scope of works on jobs we are working together and all round a very pleasant person. I look forward to continuing to work with Jas.

If I could give a zero I would. Leaders derby are absolutely awful. We've rented from for 10 years and they just won't do repairs, we nagged at them for 8 years to fix the rotten wooden windows, they kept telling us the landlord can't afford it. They've told so many lies. Finally he fixed them then drove the rent up by 160 a month. Lie to us all the time, when they do eventually send someone they send some odd Job bob incompetent. Who leave a mess. Boiler broke and they took all the tiles off the wall and left it that way, filling holes with cement. Still the same after 4 years, won't fix it. Kitchen has been falling apart since we moved in. Promised to fix it and then tell me they'll send contractors to price the job and they never ever turn up. Constantly arguing with Vikki the propery manager who has zero accountability, they don't do their job and won't talk to you on the phone because they say I'm rude, when I'm literally not, I'm just saying my boiler has been broken for 3 weeks now and you've done nothing , have told me for 2 weeks running the gas engineer will call me. Hasn't called..hasn't attended. I called her to ask why and told her it's not good enough, refused to talk to me and told me it will be done the next week, still hasn't been done. Absolutely disgusting company.

I contacted Hayley Ann Pateman via email today requesting if possible, relevant documents ie rental agreement I required from Leaders for forwarding on to relevant persons.

Hayley responded very quickly to my request and information I required. These were emailed to me within minutes.

I have dealt with Hayley on various occasions over time and found she is very professional, helpful, fast responding on emails, and where possible resolving queries promptly and I would happily liaise with her going forward with any future help.

What can I say about Georgina? We moved into a property which had clearly been neglected by the previous tenants and there were quite a few repair issues which had not been reported. I raised a long list of issues through the PORTAL and with the kind help of Georgina Naylor we worked through them issue by issue. She was exceptional, following along with every issue along the way keeping me informed all the time and in the loop. She conveyed our thanks to the Landlord over some issues which really were quite big jobs such as the roof and she always advised me truthfully and followed up on work Outstanding. I would employ her in my company in a heartbeat and she is an absolute credit to LEADERS who are very lucky to have her

There are no words for how bad this company truly is.
I can't believe there able to run business i wouldn't let them run a tap never mind a letting agency. You will seriously regret going with them .

Awful service from the people looking after our sale. Ryan and Kassandra would never reply to emails and when they did it was holding emails such as “i’ve emailed the buyers and will let you know” to which we never got any further comments from.

They were rude on email and we felt like our opinions and comments were of importance to them. Whereas if the buyers wanted anything it was acted upon straight away.

We feel very let down

Worst company on planet earth. Genuinely cannot even begin to explain the amount of issues we have had with them. I have raised over 6 complaints and never been given an apology or even an acknowledgment of wrong doing.

Sort context they will receive your payment for rent and deposit and then send credit references asking you for the balance… even though you have paid and had proof. Been living at this property for over 6 months and ever single month we have the same issue.

They don’t seem to care unless you make it public, so that’s why I’m here.

Please do not make our mistake and do not rent from leaders, no matter how nice the property is.

We have experienced harassment emails for payments we have made. If I could rate you lower than 1 I would.

Great service so far from both Erin and Eleisha both ladies were highly responsive to email and processed things really quickly to help get the house on the market. Looking forward to getting the house rented out. As always excellent service from leaders pride park.

Do not use.

I have been ignored for 4 months, called up and asked to get a managers email to help and nothing.

I have been left without a fridge and freezer for 3 months and my contact states I can not put one in myself. I have been accused awful things, getting me mixed up with another apartment. I have been left in inhumane conditions with nobody to help, it’s sickening and can not even get a call back.

I am a first time renter and would NEVER recommend leaders, I would warn away.

Leaders go by the book. No short cuts.

Lisa has been most helpful in our marketing with leaders very professional courteous and reassuring.
