Personal and Heartfelt
The course materials thoroughly cover the essential components of becoming a competent interpreter, from foundational principles to professional practices—excluding certification and final examination, which are pursued separately.
What truly sets this experience apart, however, is the way our tutor, Mr. Janbaz, delivered the lessons. His ability to spark meaningful reflection and keep participants fully engaged in every session was remarkable. A supportive and professional learning experience
I completed the Level 3 Certificate in Community Interpreting and had a very positive experience. The course was well-structured, and the whole team — tutors, admin staff, and the director — were supportive and professional throughout.
My result was reviewed internally and then verified externally by the awarding body, which gave me full confidence in the process.

Amazing Course
I highly recommend taking this course. I started my learning journey with LearnQ in September 2024 not knowing what to expect.I didn't realise how much you need to know in order to become a professional interpreter and to carry on your continual personal development journey.The live webinars with our tutor Ajup Janbaz were absolutely fantastic.His approach to teaching was very professional and engaging.I recommended joining them if you can, if not they are also available to watch later on.There are optional assignments to do but it would be best if you can do them as I found them helpful with my learning.Once the live webinars are over I took my time going over Rob's webinars as well as well as watching lots of medical TV series to practice my interpreting and note taking 😊.Don't rush if you don't feel ready to take your exam.Take your time preparing your glossary and gain a good understanding of medical terms.I took my test on the 4th of April ,two weeks later I received the results and I received my certificate today.

Great Course – Well-Structured, Informative, and Easy to Follow
I recently completed the Level 3 Community Interpreter course with Learn Q and would highly recommend it to anyone considering a career in interpreting. The course is comprehensive, covering all the key aspects of community interpreting, with a strong focus on the high professional standards required in the field.
Although I couldn’t attend the live webinars, I found the recordings extremely informative. The tutor was clearly very engaging and didn’t hesitate to challenge students to think critically and deepen their understanding. The glossaries provided throughout the course were also a great starting point for building up my own specialised vocabulary.
One of the highlights for me was the range of video resources dedicated to explaining the exam structure, the mark scheme, and revision strategies. These videos were invaluable and made me feel much more confident and well-prepared when it came to sitting the final assessments.
The Learn Q platform is easy to navigate, and their admin team is always quick to respond to queries, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free.
Overall, this course gave me a solid foundation and the tools I needed to succeed. A fantastic learning experience!

We completely understand the desire for more practical sessions; they’re a fantastic way to consolidate learning. However, it’s important to note that significantly increasing the number of practicals would also increase the cost of the course – often by £100–£200 or more. In our experience, many learners prefer a more affordable option, so we strive to strike the right balance between cost and content.
That said, we absolutely encourage practical experience and provide a wide range of suggestions to help students get hands-on practice at no extra cost. This includes teaming up with fellow learners via our Facebook group, which thousands of our learners have done and continue to do, as well as practising with friends and family members. These opportunities are there, but they do rely on students being proactive and taking the initiative. Ultimately, it’s up to each individual how much or how little practice they choose to do alongside the core course content.
