I ordered a dress that was a tad small but customer service was quick to respond, and give me return information, so they are easy to communicate with. The quality of dress is high, and very elegant.
This company is 1000% scammy. I got an ad for their shop on Instagram, clicked the link & after reading the return policy, I placed an order (I am shopping for my wedding events & ordered several things from lots of shops to try). Long story short, the clothing did not work for me, and since my order auto-generated a welcome discount code *that I did not apply*, they now won’t give me a refund. Disputing that sh*t. The price point being higher gives a complete false sense of confidence. Such a scam. Listen to the negative reviews.
**Edited to add: I opened a dispute with PayPal and got my money back. I did go thru the motions with a “store credit” in order to get the merchandise back to them. Order at your own risk.
TERRIBLE quality AND TERRIBLE service. I ordered a dress that was faulty and I am not able to return it?? How is this legal? I am being punished for quality control that I cannot control. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE the quality is terrible.. giving shein and the service is worse.. Please read all the negative reviews and believe them. This is so unethical and a complete scam. It’s not made clear on any emails. Will not be purchasing from this brand again. I am being punished for a faulty item... very disappointed! Also the package originally said it would ship in a week and it took almost a month because the item went on pre order... I was not home when this arrived so unable to wait for the 2 day (unrealistic) policy to submit photos.... Please save your money and do not buy from this brand. There are so many options to buy from a trusty, realizable and ethical small business.

RESPONSE TO LEAU:
Thanks for your response.
I want to clarify that my frustration isn’t about your policy existing — it’s about how it’s communicated. The welcome code is marketed as a perk for first-time shoppers, but it quietly locks you out of refunds. That’s not disclosed clearly enough during checkout, and it's not reasonable to expect new customers to dig through fine print to understand that the “welcome” offer comes with a catch.
You mention that reviews aren’t filtered, but I received no confirmation, and my one-star review was never published. I’ve since submitted it again through your website — and once again, it has not been published. If this is a recurring “technical issue,” it raises serious concerns about how customer feedback is being handled.
Lastly, offering only store credit or exchanges when the smallest size doesn’t fit is not a solution — it’s a dead end. Policies aside, that kind of rigidity leaves customers with no meaningful path forward.
To try to meet you halfway, I agreed to use your “Shop Now” feature — only to be told by your customer service team that it isn’t currently working, with no timeline for when it will be. That’s not a functional solution. It’s unreasonable to expect customers to wait indefinitely for a feature you’ve positioned as the alternative to a refund. Being asked to accept a non-working system as the final step in resolving a failed order isn’t just frustrating — it’s dismissive.
At this point, I’m asking again for a full refund. Your policies are restrictive, your proposed alternatives are non-functional, and the customer is left shouldering the consequences of all of it. That is not how a customer-first brand operates.
I love supporting small businesses especially women owned. Their customer service was great in my experience, I had to exchange a dress and they were quick to respond and processed my exchange without any problems. Love their dresses such a unique design!

The WORST service I’ve ever received. They throw discount codes down your throat - from Welcome codes, to Cart10, to a Google codes when you search the brand - then REFUSE refunds when used. This is so unethical and a complete scam. It’s not made clear on any emails, I have many screenshots. They originally replied to my email saying I was entitled to a refund (AI) and then changed their minds a couple days later. Thankfully there’s enough evidence to contact my bank for a refund but, to LEAU - consider creating community rather than scamming. And making the quality of your clothes better. Put that on Forbes.

I’m extremely disappointed with this company. I ordered a dress for my bridal shower, and when it arrived, the quality was completely unacceptable—especially for the $200 price point. The fabric is so sheer that my undergarments are clearly visible, and the zipper seam is extremely noticeable and poorly constructed. This is not something I feel comfortable wearing, let alone for such an important occasion.
To make matters worse, because I used a 10% discount code, I was told I’m ineligible for a return. It’s incredibly frustrating to be stuck with an expensive dress that I will never wear due to quality issues that should have been caught before it was shipped. I expected much better and will not be ordering from this brand again.
Great Customer service and good quality dress!
I have purchased many items from Leau. I love all the pieces that I own, especially the bustier and feather skirt. Love them. Customer service is great too. I have a problem getting my size right and now I know that I can exchange items easily so I do not worry too much. I have the oversized white blazer and in S it is really big. I would size down. Hope this is useful for anyone that wants to purchase.

Truly satisfied with both the product and the customer service! i had ordered a size XS for a dress and was unfortunately not able to fit in it. i was also past the grace period for a refund so i thought i’d give emailing the company a shot. their response time is amazing and by the end of the day, i had a email letting me know that they’d be more than happy to let me do an exchange for a bigger size! i usually dont wear dresses but i will definitely be ordering from here in the future!
Quality dresses and excellent customer service - I have bought several items from Leau! The items are great quality and as described in their site. Shipping is fast. When I contacted customer service for a question, they were prompt in their response and clarified my query. I also provided them some suggestion which they happily received and promised to improve on. Overall thrilled with every item I have purchased!!!!
I ordered a dress on their website. Right after placing the order, I noticed I had been charged twice — I even have a photo proving it.
A few days later, I received two separate packages, meaning I was sent two dresses, paid twice the price, and twice the shipping fees. The dresses are very expensive, so this is a significant amount of money.
The day after I placed my order, I contacted the brand by email to check if there had been a mistake. I got a reply — and I also have a screenshot of that — where they confirmed only one order had been placed. So I figured it was probably a payment system bug.
However, I did receive two dresses, and there are two charges on my bank account. I didn’t place two orders, yet I was charged twice.
Then comes the worst part: I had used a stupid discount code that they advertise all over their site. What they don’t tell you clearly when you place your order is that if you use that code, you can’t get a refund — even for returns.
That’s already a shady and manipulative marketing practice, and it would actually be illegal in the EU, but since they’re based in the US, they clearly do whatever they want.
Fine — I could accept that mistake on my first order, even if it’s completely dishonest on their part.
But refusing to refund me for a second dress that I never wanted to buy, that I didn’t order, and that I was charged for anyway — that’s straight-up theft.
Since then, I’ve been trying to reach them every single day via email, Instagram, TikTok — no response.
The only time they replied was after I left a negative Trustpilot review. And in that message — which I can also prove — they told me that I had not been charged twice, that I had not received two dresses, and that they would not help me unless I removed my review.
So not only are they trying to scam me, they are also lying and blackmailing me.
This is by far the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. Don’t order from this brand — it’s a scam, fraud, and they act with zero integrity.
I have already filed a complaint with FTC Consumers, and I will continue to leave reviews and take further action until I get refunded for these two damn dresses.

Absolutely obsessed with the White Muse Mesh Corset! I originally ordered my usual size but ended up exchanging for a smaller one….it is stretchy.
let me just say, customer service was more than accommodating. The exchange process was fast, seamless, and super professional. They made sure I felt taken care of every step of the way. They answer almost immediately and assured me there would
be no issues as long as the ribbon and original tag were attached. The ribbon does state DO NOT REMOVE UNTIL YOU WEAR. Which is more than understandable.
the quality is 11/10 and beyond. The structure is flawless, the mesh is soft yet supportive, and it hugs the body in all the right places without being uncomfortable and stretchy so you can move. You can instantly feel how well-crafted it is the moment you put it on.
I’ve worn it both dressed up with a satin maxi skirt and more casual with jeans and flats. it looked stunning either way. It gives that perfect snatched look while still being breathable and easy to move in. Plus, the detailing is elegant, clean, and sexy without trying too hard.
When i arrived for a night out my friends even said i was giving “ clean, yet rich”
The muse forest is their stable piece and the mesh one is to die for. Some of their pieces for the muse collection are pre order given that it is their most sought after piece but my order came within the estimated shipping dates. I can’t wait to order in black, and even satin.
If you’re thinking about it, just get it. I’ll definitely be ordering more from this brand!
I wish I could add photos!

I ordered a corset from Leau Clothing and was shocked to receive it in a stained condition. I contacted them on April 28th with photos, requesting a replacement. Their website clearly states they will respond within 24–48 hours — this is a complete lie. Despite following up multiple times, I have been completely ignored. It is now June 8th and I have yet to receive any response.
The lack of professionalism and basic customer service is appalling. I’ve had to report them to my bank because it’s clear they do not care about resolving customer issues. Their company is a SCAM. If you've ordered from here and had no issues, consider yourself lucky. However, if you did encounter a problem and tried to reach out, it's clear that customer service is not a priority. They consistently ignore messages across all platforms and show no interest in resolving customer concerns. Your money will be lost.
I’ve never had such a terrible experience with any company before, and I’ve never felt compelled to leave a negative review until now. I’m extremely disappointed and would strongly advise others to think twice before ordering from Leau Clothing.

I ordered from Leau and was shocked to find out they refuse to offer refunds if you use their own welcome discount code - only store credit or exchanges. Nowhere during checkout did they make this clear. When I tried to return my order, customer service told me I wasn't eligible for a refund because I used the code I WAS ENCOURAGED TO USE. It feels deceptive and borderline scammy. Be careful ordering from them - especially if you're trying the brand for the first time.
In response to their response: Your policy is NOT clearly stated. On the product page, the return section only says you accept returns within 14 days - no mention that using a discount code makes it store credit only. Nothing at checkout said this either. This isn't transparency - it's MISLEADING.

I bought a dress from LEAU, and wanted it exchanged for a larger size and the communication regarding the returns and exchange was terrible. The quality of the item was bad and the customer service experience was even worse. I regret purchasing the item from this website and it has only been a hassle.
I ordered a dress from LEAU Clothing on May 24th (Order #74292) for my graduation on June 5th. I made it clear this was a time-sensitive event, and I trusted that it would arrive on time.
Instead, the dress wasn’t even handed to the courier until June 3rd — just two days before my ceremony — and it’s not expected to arrive until June 9th, well after the event.
I reached out multiple times before the event, pleading for an update or solution. They ignored every message. I had no backup outfit and no money left, so this delay completely ruined my graduation experience. I had to borrow money last minute to buy something else.
Now, they’re refusing to issue a full refund, saying because I used a 10% first-time buyer discount code, I’m only eligible for store credit. But I didn’t return the item because I changed my mind — I never got to wear it.
This is incredibly unfair. Their customer service is nonexistent, and their policy prioritizes profit over empathy. If you’re ordering for a time-sensitive occasion, please don’t risk it. You could end up just like me — heartbroken, ignored, and stuck with store credit for a dress you never got to wear.
As a first-time customer, I had high expectations for Leau Clothing given their premium pricing and polished branding. Unfortunately, my experience was deeply disappointing and left me feeling misled and disregarded.
I placed an order on May 28, 2025, using their prominently advertised 25% off code for new customers. The item I received did not fit well — it was too large in the hips and overall unflattering. When I tried to return it, I discovered that because I used a discount, I was not eligible for a refund to my original payment method — only store credit or an exchange.
This crucial detail was not disclosed clearly at checkout prior to completing the purchase and that is deceptive and manipulative.
I reached out to customer service expecting some level of understanding or flexibility, especially as a first-time buyer, and was met with rigid, unhelpful responses. There was zero effort to make the situation right or offer even a gesture of goodwill.
This is not the experience I expect from a so-called luxury brand. They clearly prioritize sales over customer trust and satisfaction. I won’t be shopping with Leau again, and I’d caution others to read every fine print before making a purchase — especially if you’re using their “first order discount.” It comes with hidden strings attached.
Edit for response from brand below - the 25% off is for first time order as advertised on your site, this offer pops up on the left hand side of your website, it was not apart of the semi-annual sale as you falsely stated. Your brand does not offer mid-tier pricing, you advertise yourselves as a luxury brand with a cheap customer experience with your pockets as your main focus - not your customer. Your refund policy was in no way disclosed at checkout - again a false claim. I am not alone, there are countless reviews here that have the same experience and concern. You have taken the time to reply to my review, however have ignored my emails for a resolution.
Bottom line - your brand is unethical, with shady business practices and people should be cautious to support a women-owned business like yours.

I spent £300 on a dress. I contacted their customer support as I was severely unhappy with the dress and its quality. Like another review, I saw, the responses were extremely vague and dismissive. After reaching out via email, I went to their website to get help, I only had 2 replies over two days. Their web chat is open for 8 hours a day, so this makes no sense to me at all. They refuse to give me a refund as a discount code was used - only willing to give me store credit. I am not happy with the product and do not intend to return as a customer and they did not help at all
