Do not recommend this inspection company

To start the inspector rescheduled multiple times. The inspection noted the vehicle needed an alignment during the test drive. This was indeed true. However, the inspector failed to note the vehicle shakes excessively at any speed over 20mph and howls like it has worn mud terrain tires. Front tires were extremely chopped! Measured the tire tread but never ran a hand across the tread to feel for abnormalities. Also, it was noted no curb rash on any of the wheels and no dents. This was not the case. Left front rim curb damage and 3 dents in the left rear quarter panel which I found immediately after a 20 second walk around.

The report I got back on the car with …

The report I got back on the car with incorrect. I went in test drove the car. I drove it five minutes and the transmission start slipping and smoke start coming out of the tailpipe.. The brakes were bad a very soft pedal. Report said car fine . Rip off lemon squad.

Website presents information clearly

Instructions for ordering and arranging the inspection were clear and easy to follow. Gave them the contact name at the dealership and they arranged a mutually convenient time. The report was clear. So far I've only found one item that was not on the report - the fact that the folding sink in the bathroom seemed to have been torqued at some point. It doesn't affect the functioning of the sink other than it doesn't stay folded when the van is in motion. I agree with all the other items noted.

I had a disappointing experience with…

I had a disappointing experience with Lemon Squad. The service was delayed multiple times, and the inspection kept getting postponed. It took nearly a full week to receive the report, which is far longer than expected.

The report itself was not very helpful—there were many photos but very little detailed or useful information. Important areas were not properly evaluated, and they did not even test the infotainment system.

Communication was poor throughout the process, making it difficult to get timely updates or clear responses.

Considering the cost, the service does not provide good value. I would strongly recommend using a local private mechanic instead, even if it costs a bit more, as you are likely to get a more thorough and reliable inspection.

Overall, I would not recommend using this service.

Good service

Good service, lots of good pictures. Not much detail about the car, like does the AC work? or the lights? It is nice to send someone to look at the car and make sure I was not being scammed

The first time I used lemon squad the…

The first time I used lemon squad the experience was good. Got the order in, inspection was done a day or two after and a report the day after inspection was done. The second time I ordered an inspection in my opinion was not done in a timely manner. I ordered the inspections on a Tuesday. Got an email saying the inspection would be done that Thursday. Then I received an email saying the the ETA on inspection would be Monday. When I talked to the dealership apparently someone Went by that Thursday so naturally I expected the report the next day on Friday , when I read the email saying they would go out that Monday I thought surely that would be the report emailed to me. Well…here it is on that Monday night at 10:30 pm and still no report. So in my eyes that inspector is lazy on the job. So yes this second time I feel like it’s been a waste of my money.

RV Inspection

Inspector dinged our camper. Company hasn’t returned our emails or phone calls. Inspection report also contained incomplete information. I’d find another company for your inspection needs.

This was a waste of money

This was a waste of money. The concept sounds great, but the execution was terrible. The order was placed on a Wednesday (4:45am EST) but I didn’t receive a report until afternoon the following Monday. Way too long in the car buying industry. I ended up flying down to look at the car myself before even receiving the report. Will not use or recommend this service to anyone.

Large defects missed by inspector

Large defects missed by inspector. Low & dirty oil deemed pass. Car had large water leaks in headliner, structural pillars and flooring and not documented. Steering column mechanics out of service, not documented.
