You cannot order online

You cannot order online. Many times when we would like to order online, we get the message "Neste momento para os artigos escolhidos não é possivel a entrega no local selecionado" If you call them, they do not know why. How can such a big company design such a poor ordering website.

Don't use these guys they are so…

Don't use these guys they are so dishonest. We purchased a Salamander wood burner with the understanding that they would install it. After paying an additional fee for their engineer to survey and specify the installation, we then had to pay, in advance for the work being done, and were given a basic specification of the work. Eight weeks later they finally send their installation company to do the work but they couldn’t complete the installation because this hadn’t been specified properly. We now don’t have a fireplace that was removed, a wall that needs plastering and no Salamander to heat the living room. Leroy Merlin take your money and then leave you to sort out their problem.

The worst customer service ever

The worst customer service ever. They delivered the wrong items on an online order and have done nothing to rectify, despite 5 calls, contact via their website and via their "customer service" line. One month later, no action, no response, no responsibility for their error. Laughable.

Leroy Merlin Loulé: unbelievable situation
I went to Leroy Merlin de loule with my 3 year old daughter to buy a Christmas tree! I had to get a cart but I didn't have coins so I asked the security guard if he had a coin or if he could help me get a shopping cart he said I was to ask another employee at the store. that I had to see this with security. Coming back I found another stroller on the way that had the seat Lara child I went into the store and the security said I couldn't take the stroller and so I said again can you help me then get another stroller and he stupidly said no and he started to pull the cart from my hand I said there was no way to get another one because I had no coin he continued to pull the cart started to pull and press mine on the cart I asked not to touch me I asked to stop doing that he didn't then stopped with the other hand took my cell phone to film the aggression he became even more aggressive pulled my cell phone from my hand twisted my arm and threw me on my back violently in front of my 3 year old daughter the person in
Back in the store they asked him to stop he didn't stop he still took my things, cell phone and car keys to another part of the store! People in the store called the police! And when I left the store, the same watchman who attacked me was waiting for me at the exit.

The worst

Terrible websiter it makes you pick a store location for no apparent reason if you don't you can only see half the page.
The search results are awful and there are certain items uncategorized/unlisted that you can't reach with their filters.
The interface is not bad in of itself but it has a lot of bad and annoying features that are so easy to repair/remove.

Horrible website

Horrible website, not functional at all. It starts by not being able to start in the first place. Haven't had to deal with such a disfunctional website in many years. One star ist too much, they should get minus stars...

Avoid Leroy Merlin if at all possible!

If I could give this company zero stars then I would, they are appalling. We spent over 10,000 euros on a kitchen in December 2020. Their contractors still haven't finished fitting it and the work that has been done is substandard and unprofessional.

The staff at the Loule store are very quick to give assurances and state how they are going to help remedy the situation, but nothing ever actually gets done. I have been in to see the manager and/or his deputy 3 times now and had numerous email correndence and telephone calls.

We are still no closer to having a finished, functioning kitchen.

Avoid at all costs!

Dishonest

Ordered over €500 of goods , told 2 weeks to arrive in store , 10 weeks later it finally arrives , me always calling and going to the store to find out what's happening, told lie after lie , filing in the complaints book and asked when do you reply to my complaint, told by the store assistant ' when we want , when we have time ' what a joke of a company , avoid and order from another company , be quicker and a better product ....

This company is a disgrace

This company is a disgrace. I bought an ac unit online. I was then contacted by the shop in Almada to say they didn't have it in stock. When I asked for a refund, they magically said they did have it in stock. When I picked it up and took it home, I found out it was a completely different unit that was not at all fit for purpose. So they had lied to me to make the sale.

failed delivery and abusive, racist delivery operative.

We ordered a fitted kitchen from Leroy Merlin in Loule costing almost E12,000 just before Christmas. They have continually changed delivery times, failed to arrive at appointed delivery times etc. etc. Today we were supposed to have the delivery in the morning however at 15.30 PM it still hadn't arrived. They phoned us about 4PM and said it would be there at 4.30 PM. The delivery wagon arrived at 5.15PM and the two individuals with the vehicle made it clear that they wanted to off load the kitchen outside our front gates 100 yards from the house on an unadopted, unsecure, unlit road! I asked them to drive up to the turning circle at the top of the drive by the house which neccesitates coming in forwards and then driving around the circle to exit the property still driving forwards - very easy and exactly the same way two other deliveries have been made with the same sized trucks from the same company! Furthermore our drive is actually WIDER than the road the truck had just driven up to get to the gates. The driver would not listen and began to back up the drive instead and his colleague then started to rip branches off a tree which we have lately had to have a tree surgeon out to because 3 years of neglect prior to us buying the house meant it needed attention. I remonstrated with him at which point he became aggresive and started shouting at me, so I ordered them off the property. He then came back in the drive and started taking photographs so I ordered him out. At this point he gave me a lot of verbal abuse including obvious rascist comments in Portuguese which he clearly thought I would not understand. I do not see why I should accept this sort of behaviour and this appalling service when I have paid so much money for a kitchen. We contacted Leroy Merlin immediately but they can't even be bothered to get a manager to speak to us so at this time the matter is unresolved.

Online shopping and click & collect

Trying for about a month to buy 2 lounger mattresses. They only have them online and are in stock online. Jumped through the hoops, some stuff about cards, etc, made account, checkout out, only to get a message before payment that they cannot go further.
Wrote in the live chat a couple of times, nobody came back to me.
Gave up and went to the Loule shop to buy the cheaper mattresses they have in stock there. But no they can't sell them due to Corona, they said do Click & Collect.
OK, fair enough, click & collect should be "better" for Corona contact etc.
So paid online, arranged Click & Collect. But they behave like 1998, like they just started with Online anything, here we go:
* No email/SMS/phone call reminder when to collect. (I'm spoiled it seems :D)
* No directions/instructions/nothing.
* Wasn't sure what to do, just printed the receipt that I paid and went there.
* Had to ask 3 people where the collections are.
* The collections are deep in the shop *after* the cashiers (even though I paid). And they are marked in English "Deliveries" (Why??)
* After a couple of minutes there they gave me my mattresses and a printed receipt. I thought I'm finally done. But no, you have to pass from the cashiers. A special corridor marked, again, "deliveries" was closed.
* A nice lady saw me going out of the cashiers and said she needs to see me. Then took several minutes, printed lots of papers which she ... stuck together and wanted me to sign, with a dirty pen! I said smartly, what happens if I don't sign? She said she doesn't care, so I didn't sign! :)
Why a 2nd time, one guy already dealt with me, gave me paperwork, why on earth a 2nd time, and so many papers? Did they just started this click & collect, are they new in business? Why do they need ANY papers, in the UK it's paperless, you just get your item and walk out! The receipt is online, as customers get emailed. And that is before Corona!
* Under lockdown Corona regulations, I was led to believe that click & collect is CONTACTLESS !!
Why deal with 2 different people, asked to touch their pen, given so many papers, and have to walk through their entire shop? Too much contact for absolutely no reason.

Fantastic customer service

I have had a number of orders from Leroy Merlin during both lockdowns. My experience is exceptional service and willingness to help. Both when I made an error on my order which was promptly corrected and when I asked to add an item to an outstanding order.
Also delivery is carried out efficiently by their carrier.
I would give them 10 stars

A very frustrating online shopping…

A very frustrating online shopping experience.
Bought urgently needed plumbing tools, delivery was promised 3-4 days earlier (9am-7pm). Waited at home all day, the product didn't arrive. At Leroy Merlin phone center nobody knew why. They don't provide a direct contact with the shipping store. I kept waiting, 9am-7pm every day as I made 4 phonecallss to the company, including one to the national post sending the item, and sending 4 emails to LeroyMerlin. I was on them every day, and finally received a package 2 weeks after I purchased it, all beat up. They choose another further store if your default store doesn't have the item (this should be specified as it impedes finding missing items), trying to retrieve lost items with them is a nightmare. All they do is promise to pass your message to the store that lost your items. You can never talk to anyone 'at' the store that sent/lost your items.
If you are ever in the same situation with LeroyMerlin, order again and again, and reject the 'extra' orders at the door.
I do like the variety of products that they have online and in stores but deliveries are problematic.

Disrespectful manager in loule

I was treated so badly by one of the managers in loule I will never buy anything from there again.
He has no respect for the clients and should not be a manager anywhere.

Very Very bad service

Very Very bad service, no respect to the clients. I bought black outs, and I ask master to come to my home to make measures to cut the black out. The manager of the store Leroymerlin Sintra told that he is going to call me about the date, but nobody called, I had to go there again to schedule a visit of the master. After he made measures he sent an email to the Leroy in the same and they had to call me to confirm that I can deliver blackouts to cut. Nobody called. I called to the master they confirmed that they delivered measures, I called to the hotline they told that they will speak with the store and they call me. Nobody called back. Then after one week I went there on Saturday and delivered a blackouts to cut. The manager Sandra was not professional at all, she made a mistake in the order, she said that everything id going to be ready in 2 weeks and she is going to call me to inform. But of course, nothing was ready in 2 weeks and she never called. yesterday I called to the company who cut blackouts I had their phone in email. The blackout were ready last week, but because of the mistake in the order they were expecting 2 more pieces to come. I scheduled by myself directly with them installation for the 18th of August. In the same day Sandra called me, it seems that installation company informed about my calls. But I had no need already to speak with her, because her jop was done by me. So it is almost one month to do very simple work. And Leroy didn't offer any compensation for the delay and mistake of the manager. Very low qualification of the managers and very poor client service, unfortunately. They just say that I can write a complaint in the complaint book in the store, very good advise.

Delivery problems and poor service

I was promised a delivery from the Gondomar store on 22 May. Never arrived. Hours on the phone and eventually promised 28 May. Never arrived. Hours on the phone. Still unresolved. Staff at Leroy Merlin promise to get back but never do. As regards their outsourced transport company the response and customer service is even worse

Their website is just absolutely useless. Impossible to order anything.
It's 2020, maybe hire an ecommerce company already???
