This company is a scam Chinese company posing as an Australian garment company.
They process your order and then your package never arrives. When you inquire, they say "delivery was attempted and contact was attempted" so they tell you the package was "returned and destroyed".
This is absolutely untrue. No contact or delivery were ever attempted and I have emailed the shipping company as well and keep getting the runaround.
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY

I wanted a jacket but received an online alert that the company might be a scam. I did some research and found a YouTube video showing that this site is not who they say they are. Do some research! I definitely will not be ordering it.

I ordered a beautiful dress off the internet, because the photos were stunning. The web site appeared to be legit, out of New York and designer. At the end of the order, they offered a 2nd dress at a discounted price so I ordered a 2nd color. When they arrived, I was shocked to see that the material, cut and manufacture of this dress was cut rate. The bodice doesnt fit like the picture at all, it has static cling and it is hideous. I requested a return thru their customer service (there is a return policy as one would expect through a legit NY company) but then found out they are a scam, in China and as others have claimed, they offered 10% as a refund. Or I can send it back to China for supposedly a full refund. Rip off. I am so angry for not doing more reseach. Do not buy from this scam company. TEMU does a WAY better job of making and selling clothing than this place did

Wow! I should’ve read these reviews and I would’ve saved myself money and a headache! Lester and Jones clothing is terrible and cheaply made. The size isn’t right. Stay away!! Total scam. When I wanted to return it, it was $40 to ship it back. Total waste of my money.

I ordered the Layla Luxury Winter Trench Coat Dec. 17, 2024! After a month and me endlessly contacting them, their shipping company Piggy Exp claimed they were going to deliver, confirmed my address for delivery next day and kept telling me that for weeks, and after many calls to Piggy for status they stopped taking my calls and claimed they were unable to find my address because there was no contact information! They are liars! and Lester replied to me once asking to provide my delivery information! Ridiculous! I keep asking for a refund from Lester and Jones and they have continued to blow me off. I will report this type of crime to the authorities. Order #L&J-9395

BUYER BEWARE. This company is a scam based in China. Their products also ship from China, not from a NYC warehouse as they claim in their website. It will take 3+ weeks for their products to deliver, and when they do, they are DEFECTIVE. I ordered two purses- one from my original purchase and the second as a replacement, and both are DEFECTIVE in the exact same way. The zippers were not sewn across the entire top of the bags and are just hanging off the purse.

This company will not issue you a full refund either. If you choose a refund, you must ship the product back to China with your own dime, or they will issue you a 5% refund and a discount on the other garbage they sell. PLEASE do not purchase from this company. You will be extremely disappointed and frustrated with the experience. If there was an option to rate a zero star, I would.

Absolutely a SCAM. Ordered shoes - suede and orthopedic, they were neither. They arrived from China reeking of chemicals and the construction was like flip flop - cheap. They flat our refused to reimburse me unless I returned the shoes to China at my cost. PayPal and my credit card company helped me get my money back. Also they are not in New York at all as the branded logo implies.

I should have done my homework on this one … referral thru Facebook - should have known it was a scam … even down to a valid usps reference number and managing to say it was delivered to my local post office …. But it wasn’t … sounds like I didn’t want it after all … company misrepresented themselves as a NY company when it is really a Chinese company … awful ,… wonder who the happy couple in the owners photo really are … no phone number … no answer to their contact site … I contacted my credit card company and put in a dispute! DON’T ORDER FROM THEM!!!

Now Affirm is in on the act - arguing that I still owe L&J fraudsters 2 payments for the bait and switch scam ripoff they did on me in December! They refuse to believe my evidence that this FAKE fraud company in China ripped me off. I gave them a ton of proof that they were scamming dozens if not hundreds of people and not even following their own so-called 'refund policy'. Everyone at Affirm is useless, they barely understand what you are saying to them.

BE WARNED - NEVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY.

Do Not - I repeat Do Not but anything from this company!!! Unfortunately, I did not look at the reviews before purchasing two pairs of shoes for $76 that were probably worth $1 if even that. Their return policy is you pay the shipping costs with a tracking number. The shipping on these shoes was going to be $62. Lesson learned.

Product comes from China & took forever to get delivered. I ordered a coat & it was cheaply made, had a snag & didn’t resemble the picture at all !!
Also, ordered shoes that they had wrapped up tight in a plastic bag. They took almost a month to be delivered. They were so scrunched together they are deformed looking. Not sure if the creases will smooth out or not. They don’t look like the picture either.
Save your money & don’t buy from them!!!

This company is a scam. I ordered a sweater, they charged me, then it never came. It said “out for delivery” for 2 weeks and when I contacted them they referred me to piggy ship, a Chinese delivery company, allegedly. They told me they had attempted delivery 3 times (untrue) and tried to reach me multiple times (also untrue) and the package had been returned and destroyed. WTF? And now they’re saying no refund because they couldn’t reach me. It’s such a scam and so preposterous that they are blatantly lying. I’m furious. Don’t buy from this company!

I'm giving a one star because it won't let me leave a 0. In good faith, I ordered, and paid, for a "leather" jacket. When it arrived, it barely resembled the one I ordered. But, my problem is the sewing of stitching defect it had. I contacted the company and they wanted proof. I took a picture of the defect and emailed to them. They offered a 3% refund ( $3.,99). A local repair shop wanted $15 per cuff to repair. The company then offered a $7.99 refund. Honestly, I get more satisfaction out of writing this review than keeping the jacket. BE VERY CAUTIOUS IF YOU ARE THINKING OF PURCHASING SOMETHING FROM THIS COMPANY. Note that the company has not responded to my second response in 5 days.....

The ortho shoes we ordered where all plastic and the leather if it was was thin and flimsy. The shoes are full of what I can only call toxic glues with a lot of off gassing they where made to look like cork soles, but are plastic only. This company offered me a 5% refund and said if I shipped back it would cost $19 and $20 not worth mytime and money. Please if your thinking of purchasing from this co., don’t company scam and product are really bad.

This is my second rating, so upsetting. I asked to return 2 items and was told they had to be returned to China since they closed their US warehouse, when I went to ship today it was going to be $400! for $110 worth of goods. The other option I had was a 10% refund, really??? L&J is saying they are going out of business, I guess this will be good for the innocent customers like me. Watch out......

Returns would cost me 20% in shipping plus any other overseas expenses. I know I wear 2x U.S. everything I ordered online was 2x and fit me great. Online web sight gives you impression of being located in N.Y. no they get their items from China. I got the leather jacket and package said 2x, well not so much didn't fit too tight around the arms too short arm length only way to wear jacket was open could not even get zipper close to zipping. They offered me a refund of $6.99 for a $69.99 item because they said to expensive to ship back to China. Not my problem. I ordered write size. I'm not Chinese I don't wear their size. I ordered what was available to me as described on their web sight. I feel their a scam website just to get your money. Do not buy from this company.

Did not read the reviews and bought shoes. Look awful, awful quality. Shipped from china. When i asked for a refund, they did not reply for 2 weeks ( even though I was persistent)
Then replied that i need to ship shoes to china for 20 dollars
If shoes get lost on a way they are not responsible

Ordered shoes that took weeks to arrive and were cheap plastic after advertised as luxurious leather. Asked for refund and got no response. Complete scam from China. All photos are fake. In the middle of disputing the charge.

COMPLETE RIPOFF/SCAM!!! potential customers are duped into believing that they are buying good quality product, based on product photo and “New York” being included in the name. The shoes I ordered arrived quickly but are made extremely poorly with cheap materials…not even close to the $39 “sale price” I paid. When I requested a return, they recommended that I keep them because I would have to pay $20-$30 to return them to China and the process could take a month (they claim that 95% of their customers opt to keep because of this). These are very deceptive sales and marketing practices. I will chock this up as a lesson learned. I will also report this “company” to the Better Business Bureau and will forewarn potential customers on all online platforms I come across.

I agree with all negative reviews. SCAM is right bought a coat, what was sent looked nothing like picture, Plus wrong size. Will not spend more money 20 or 30 to send to china. This is a total scam company like team
What you get is nothing like what you think your buying
