We recently had to move and we chose Let’s Get Moving as our movers. This was our first time with Let’s Get Moving I cannot thank enough our moving helper Rohit and his colleague as they were very calm and helpful! Moving is painful as it is and to make it more difficult, we had a snow storm on our moving day but, I am so happy to say that our move went smoothly nonetheless!

Right from the beginning, Let’s Get Moving provided fast, efficient, and professional service by answering my phone and online request very quickly. This is the first time I was using professional movers so I was quite anxious to see how this would all play out. However they have exceeded my expectations. They loaded the items so fast and efficiently into the truck and unloaded them even faster. Not a scratch anywhere!!! Wonderful service indeed!!

Excellent moving experience from booking to move in. The Team was very responsive to my booking request and was very comprehensive in inventory and planning with my by phone. The move itself was seamless, on time and fairly quick. We were impressed by the care put into moving our furniture. Everything was wrapped prior to move out.

This is my second move with "Let's Get Moving" and neither of those would have been possible without their crew. Although I have packed everything in advance, there were several sizeable items that I was unable to wrap (like a couch), and they did it for me in a matter of several minutes.

We used Let’s Get Moving for our house move this month. We hadn’t moved in 28 years and were worried about the whole process. Three guys arrived: Paras, Sumnit and Arshdeep. After watching them in action for a few minutes we knew we had a great team and our stress levels disappeared. The three of them worked nonstop from the time they got there until when they left. They carefully wrapped each piece of furniture but did it incredibly fast! The three of them were extremely friendly and polite.

We were a bit worried about some of our cherished pieces of furniture getting scratched or chipped during the move. They wrapped up most of the furniture so well that you could not even recognize what it was, ensuring that nothing could be damaged.

They took turns moving items both into/out of the truck and carrying items into/out of the house ensuring everyone stayed constantly busy and got a bit of a break from carrying heavy furniture up or down the stairs.

We were completely happy with the move and the service provided. We would highly recommend Let’s Get Moving to anyone needing a moving service!

I have used this company for moving twice, and they have given me the best per-hour rate out of all the movers I got quotes from. Plus the workers are understanding, easy to work with, and know what they're doing. Keep reading for price and details.

They have a 2 hour minimum, of 1 bedroom or higher would take less than 2 hours. My latest move, in December 2022, was from a 1 bedroom unit (mattress, bedframe, bookshelf, small dining table, 4 chairs, desk, coffee table, kitchen island on wheels, office chair, large TV and TV stand, plus lots of boxes) into a basement apt 5 minutes away. It took a long time to wrap all the furniture (2.5-3 hours), and then to unload it all into a basement apt. Altogther the move took around 6 hours or so, and cost about $1200 CAD. It was quite expensive but moving furniture into a basement apartment is ridiculously hard. Keep in mind, paying with cash is a flat rate (but you won't get an invoice), but debit card has tax added, and credit card has tax plus a fee.

Note that they do charge a lot for materials - Packing paper was $40 CAD for me, and I needed only a little (I have a big heavy stack leftover), and a mattress protector was $20. Get these yourself beforehand if you can. But certainly get their TV case if you have a TV to move. That was my biggest fear since their liability only pays you back based on the weight of the item damaged, not its actual value in any way. I don't know if that is standard, but it is how they, and one other company I asked a quote from do it.

Just FYI:
My first move was a moving from downtown Toronto to North York, a single bedroom (1 mattress, a couch, a bookshelf, a large desk, a chest of drawers, plus boxes I packed myself) into a 1 bedroom unit with 2 stops along the way, and that cost me $594.53 CAD in 2020. It was an great rate considering my stops were in to a storage unit on the West side of Toronto and, Etobicoke.

Movers that were assigned for me got sick on the day of moving, but Let's Get Moving were able to get someone else quickly enough for me to move out before the my elevator booking time was up! It was stressful, but new movers were able work efficiently to move out quickly. The price was reasonable as well!

The movers were very friendly and handled my belongings with care. There were two elevators in my building to get to my unit which was frustrating but they stayed professional and moved me in quickly despite an anticipated delay! Customer service was great- they were accommodating, confirmed my apt several times and asked all the right questions. Thank you for the smooth process as moving is so stressful!
