Will not answer phone or call me back
I have an important question to ask them regarding the defective hardie board siding installed on my house. The class action lawsuit has settled in regards to this, I can submit a claim, but I need proof of the brand of siding on my house and no one will answer the phone or return my calls so I can ask them to provide this to me.
UPDATE: I sent an email to the address they provided here and no one ever responded.

Happy for the house but unhappy about customer service after sail
I am very happy we were able to get a house and I give y’all all the credit, but after the sell my salesman disappeared. I have asked questions by text never received any response. I went to the office and asked never received any responses. I guess he made his sale and was done with us. Y’all really need to give the buyers all the paperwork for the appliances, thermostat and ac. When I asked for them I was told they were on line, I don’t do on line I want hard copies actual paperwork that came with all that stuff. I wasn’t happy about that at all.

My experience with LGI was better than I could’ve hoped for! Stacy Barron and Christie Penny are professionals and took care of every question I had. Buying a home is stressful enough and they made all the difference.

Vinny is the Best!
Really enjoyed working with Vinny and the team. They were willing to fix all of the issues and had us close earlier then expected with the hurricane damage.

So my wife and I purchased a LGI home…
So my wife and I purchased a LGI home One month ago, the paperwork side of everything went great. Our sales rep and home loan officer were Amazing. The downside to this first time home purchase are the sub-contractors, the labor used to build the house. One night we showed up to our future home and mind you it was raining that night and our cabinet installer had all the doors, windows open and water was all over our kitchen floor and and on our master bedroom carpet it was soaked. On top of all this we caught him smoking while installing cabinets, while he was using a hot plate, then he put his cigarette out on our drywall so yea he was either a terrible worker or he was tweaking out on something. Another worker managed to cut our granite counter completely crooked and smash our drywall putting a hole in our wall and then proceeded to tell me granite work is hard. It’s not so hard if your just throwing crap together. Or maybe make the correct cuts the first time. There’s no workmanship or pride put into these homes from the contractors, even the cleaners sucked they left glass all in our sinks and they were suppose to have cleaned before we closed. So some advice would be to hire honest, proud of their work types but I know that these people are hard to come by during these times where no one wants to work.

the spirit airlines of new builds
everything is fine. super cheap, every possible corner cut. took 3 visits to fix the a/c and two visits to fix electrical. they also behaved like they were doing me a favor when they fixed a fence panel that blew over in the wind. it’s also comical how many lumps are under our carpet. like sweep before you lay carpet??? my biggest complaint: how messy the house was when we moved in! dead moths everywhere, paint in the bathtub, rouge screws, sawdust, like what? buy new, but probably dirty! good for LGI, amazing costumer service until you sign the contract. they got their money though.

Awesome company and team. Very highly recommended.
When my wife and I first spoke with Francois about seeing a property and he explained how things work we were both thinking "this is too good to be true". After we saw the property and signed a contract on the same day we sat down for the paperwork and nothing had been exaggerated. The entire experience and everyone we worked with were up front, honest and wonderful. This was my fourth and easiest home buying experience hands down.

Finally got things done!
Was not thrilled with LGI, however Liz in the office in Linda ca was great! As was Pat and Andrew Garcia- they were VERY helpful and finally got things done! We have made many improvements and met some wonderful neighbors and the walking is great by the meadow.

Loved LGI homes
Loved LGI homes. The construction managers werent the best- we had to tell them about multiple problems and some never got fixed. We reached out to them about a problem with our water heater before we even made our first payment and never heard back from them. very frusterating. However, Keith our loan advisor made up for it. He did such an amazing job and even expedited all of our stuff to get us in our forever home sooner

Unprofessional and unreliable
There has been leaking in the basement since the first time it rained. We have had multiple people come and look at the issue but they have not fixed it and have brushed off concerns. Seems that if it's a big fix, they want nothing to do with it. There is no customer service line to call to reach someone and they do not respond in a timely manner when you file a service claim. I would strongly advise against working with LGI Homes as their warranty seems good, but they do not have employees willing to fix a true workmanship error.

Experience with their warranty has been…
Experience with their warranty has been nothing but disappointing: have had a leaking problem that they have sent people out to look at and not listen to what we're saying, not fix the problem, and if they do send someone out, it's at a much later date than what they say they will be out.

Hi Teneisha, we are sorry to hear about your experience! It is possible that the home was available, but sold before you were able to visit our office. We will investigate further to determine what happened and provide additional training if needed. We appreciate you sharing your experience with us so we can continue to improve.
I did not know of a way to respond I did not see a response button so I copy and paste LGI response and here is my response to it.
It is not possible that it sold in that time frame and if it did or went under contact. He could had picked up the phone or email me or my realtor. He reported it was available on Tuesday we scheduled for me to see it on Thursday.

From the moment i walked in the door I was treated like family!! I can't say enough about the entire LGI team!! Marcus and Willie made my home buying experience seamless and enjoyable!! They call when they say they will call, they send pics of your home as it is being built and they are extremely attentive to you as the buyer! Couldn't have asked for a better team to help me purchase my home!!!

Excellent experience! We have now a beautiful house! Thanks to LGI homes!

More affordable than renting
The 'home buying' experience was professional, courteous, fast, transparent, and hassle free!! The only reason I did not give 5 stars was due to a few physical issues with the home, that should/will be rectified (missing sod & crack in driveway).
