Evaluating 78 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers expressed frustration with frequent interruptions for app updates and memory clearing, which often occurred unexpectedly during programs. People found the user interface difficult to navigate, citing slow loading times for guides and applications, along with complicated and unresponsive remote controls. Furthermore, consumers reported significant product quality issues, such as screens developing faults, intermittent picture and audio problems, and devices unexpectedly turning off or lagging after only a few years of use. Not at all intuitive.

After several Samsung TVs we were persuaded to try an LG model this time. We’ve now had it for almost a year. It does everything but, in our experience, is not at all user friendly. I need to say that after a year we feel that we’ve “ given it a fair chance”! Functions that would have been 1 or at the most 2 steps with Samsung are 3 or 4 steps ….. choices are not intuitive, menu routes are not clearly labelled.
The machine works, but we’ll go back to Samsung with our next TV.

WiFi on the G4 is RUBBISH

WiFi connection on the G4 drops constantly for no reason, it does not drop on my sky or Xbox situated in the same place, it also did not drop on my previous tv.
Worse of all you cannot reconnect without resetting the power supply at the socket. Absolutely useless as a smart tv, I cannot believe they can release it with such a floor. From now on I will stick with Samsung.

Spare yourself the misery of owning an LG tv.

I asked the sales person at Curries if this television was a platform for selling unsolicited junk, he assured me it wasn’t. He was either ignorant or dishonest. LG, on the occasions it can be made to work, does actually produce a decent OLEG image, this is the only thing I can say in its defence. It is a predatory system formatted first and foremost to take money from the customer. You buy an App (always proprietary as opposed to established and trusted) and it doesn’t deliver what is promised without ceaseless expensive ‘upgrades’. When you cancel an App you no longer have access to it but money continues to be removed from your account (eg. Disney). LG runs a TV channel that automatically blazes out whenever you turn the device on, you can (eventually get rid of this, but it tries to deny you this option). Simple things like downloading a game is made agonisingly frustrating because you first need to download the proprietary App (an entire morning wasted). You never turn on the device without consistent solicitations to ‘upgrade’ no matter how recently you have done so. It is loaded with algorithms that make sure free content you are watching suddenly becomes chargeable. Purchased content becomes ‘unavailable’ without reimbursement. Searches are prioritised to provide costly results. It is the only device in the house that consistently crashes the router. In short, it is like having a dim witted thief living in your house. It is the epitome of corporate greed thinly veiled as a service. They ought to give them away, I’m sure they’d still turn a profit.

Don’t buy from LG

Bought 55inch TV at end of July, and it developed an intermittent fault where it kept losing signal in November and we had to keep retuning the set. Contacted customer service which is in the Philippines and they remotely reset the TV. The problem continued so eventually said they would repair it. Booked for repair 3 times and cancelled as part not available (new tuner). It is now just before Christmas and still not fixed and will not be done till next year now. We are absolutely disgusted with the whole experience and would not recommend anyone buys an LG product.

WiFi Network on the OLED65G4 is very poor, it loses WiFi connectivity almost every day and does not retry to connect, therefore you have to turn the tv off then on at the power supply, to regain connection.

This is a major floor, especially if you regularly use any of the apps eg for Netflix or Prime.

This never happened on my previous Tv which was Samsung.

Great OLED TVs unless it has issues

Great OLED TVs unless it has issues! After what I just went through I'll never buy a LG Product Again! .I purchased a 65" LG OLED from a Member only store the big "C" they included a great warranty if it wasn't for that warranty LG would never have made it right! I had to Call the store I purchased it from customer service to get anywhere with LG! They got involved by contacting LG at a Very high Corporate level. In the end I received a New TV shipped from LG via Truck and got stuck with disposable of the old set at my cost. I sold the replacement because as I said im Done with LG they do not care about the customer unless you have a large corporate store willing to help.

Avoid LG at all costs

Bought our tv and delivered on the 8th November 2024 a week later we had our handy man in to unpack and put up on the wall.
Whilst unpacking the tv we found it had a huge dent at the top and the screen smashed. The frame of the tv bent as well. Lg will not do anything for us. They say they only exchange up to 5 days and then that’s it. What the hell. What happened to having 30 days to return or exchange???? Well we have reported them to PayPal as we paid through pay pal thank goodness. We have taken pics of the damage and sent this to them. Avoid lg at all costs. We won’t be buying any lg products anymore.

Not a fan.

I bought a LG TV about 2 months ago. I really don't like it. The picture and sound quality are fine. What I hate is the cluttered home screen. It is FULL of boxes I don't understand and don't want. Basically I use the BBC, Ch 4, my 5 and itv apps for catch up and Freeview for live TV. Although I have edited the apps, that row is still full of white boxes with odd symbols in. I don't want trubi, home dashboard, air play (?), optical out etc and I don't want a huge ad for a programme I have no interest in taking up half the screen. I have a smaller, older TV in my conservatory which has a single row of the boxes I use in a black screen. Perfect.
I also don't like the flimsy feet that too readily drop out of their holes.

Bought a LG 60 inch TV for £1600 in…

Bought a LG 60 inch TV for £1600 in 2022. By middle of 2024 the TV won’t turn on. Called LG customer service and they said the warranty is only for one year. Never in my lifetime had a TV that had such a short life span. Probably LG knows their TV won’t last long hence set the warranty for one year. Will never buy a LG product again

LG = Life's Garbage! <: P

LG 32LM577BZUA:
Just a HUGE stinkin' piece of sh!t through and through... Less than 18 months of ownership, and the main power board has already gone BAD so now the goddamn thing just keeps shutting itself off like every 2 minutes!
I own two smaller 23" Vizio Razor LEDs from way back, both used HEAVILY for gaming/movies/PC on a daily basis, and they are STILL WORKING 100% FLAWLESSLY even after 15+ years later.
ANY decent TV from a reputable manufacturer, should last at least a minimum of 3 to 5 years... NOT the case here with this overrated brand of GARBAGE!!!
LGs are simply NOT worth it at ANY price! 👎

Do not buy an LG TV

Do not buy an LG TV. Mine is terrible. It's supposed to be wireless wifi but it kicks itself off the wifi every few minutes. Cannot use prime Netflix or catch-up because of it, yet none of our other devices disconnect when the TV does. The remote control... well I have no Idea why I press the settings button and get Netflix. Only had this TV a couple of months. Will be taking it back to Curry's. Absolutely terrible. Everytime the little go "life is good" comes up I just want to punch the TV. It is not good.

LG not worth buying any product read my review before buying any product of LG

Bought LG Oled 65 inch TV on 30th Dec 2021 and delivered on 1st Jan 2022.
on 22 Oct 2024 broke the board not working and the TV not taking power.
Called the LG they said only one wear warranty and now will have to pay £509 to get this repaired.
I have in my 64 yrs never experienced or heard a TV getting bad in just two year.
Bought a LG machine a year back and had to call twice to repair and the problem still persist.
Looking at this people should now think twice before buying any LG product.in my understanding the are scamming people

Very poor

Very poor. LG tv (approx. $3800) that parents purchased has had a fault from new. Retailer shunned any responsibility to fix/rectify brand new tv passing responsibilty to manufacturer (LG) without any help/assistance. Further, retailer initially sold them a booster ($69) to fix the problem, passing the buck that did not fix it. An antennae repairer subsequently confirmed the booster was not required and there was no reception problem [retailers poor advice and shunning responsibilty)]. The tv was 'at fault'.
LG were difficult to contact but eventually confirmed tv was faulty. Replaced components under warranty - the tv still has the same problem (pixelation at mid to bottom of screen at random intervals - sometimes every few minutes extending to hrs).
Also, the retailers 'tv installer' (approx. $70) did not complete installation correctly as the sound bar was not connected. Said he needed to get a cable to complete install and would return - never did!
LG remain difficult to contact and non-responsive to a problem they admit is a warranty claim and did try to fix unsuccessfully.
All info above is factual and can be supported by receipts.
