AVOID AT ALL COSTS

This is my second rant about this company and I think there are many unhappy customers out there judging the reviews in here. I would just like to share with you that I have had an email from these scammers to say that I have subscribed? Yet you go on there website and it states that they don’t do subscription they just charge a one off simple payment of £80 🤔 for doing what exactly? You need to contact your bank etc to make sure they don’t take anymore payments. Contact DVLA because once they have had enough reports against this company they will be unable to trade as the DVLA will revoke their involvement apparently. Something needs to happen and soon!

I challenge to prove that…

I challenge to prove that any of the 5 star reviews are genuine. The 5 star reviews make a mockery of the reviews where you allow unethical companies to post these bot reviews amongst so many poor reviews. This company has multiple reports filed against it with Action Fraud.

Absolute terrible to deal with.

Absolute terrible to deal with.
My wife tried to renew my DVLA Licence on my behalf.
She made the payment using my card, I relised that she had used a 3rd party website and not the DVLA.
A request to cancel the service was made within 10mins of the application at around 11pm therefore they could not process the application. There customer service is dreadful. Iv had different emails signed by different persons (I actually belie this is the same person). They are blank refusing to refund the £93- even though they had acknowledged my email to cancel the service. Absolute scammers.
The process was made on 10/05/2021.

Scum, The five star reviews are all fake

The five star reviews are all fake. Read all the later, one star reviews which are the real ones. These people are criminals. Report to trading standards and your bank which may be able to get your money back through a ‘retail dispute’ complaint.

Why are they still allowed to operate?

SCAM ARTISTS!

This is a con! You should avoid at all costs, they have been reported for fraud as they provide no service. My 16 year old applied for provisional licence from these con artists thinking she was on the DVLA website. All they did was apply to the DVLA to get a blank form sent to her after conning her out of not only her money, but her personal information too.

This is scammer platform

This is scammer platform for someone who have a few trading names and using the internet to trap the people from all UK and take their money .
The DVLA knew that and did not take any action to stop this criminals ??????
all the people with positive review are FAKE
and they are from outside the UK?????
anyone effected with this criminal activity should write review and post it on all social media he can .
If we don't do that more people will fail into the trap and this criminal will make more victims .

Licencesafe

Licencesafe, Licence Online, Driving licence assistance

It's shame on a firm to rip you off by purporting to be a Dvla website, and not only do they have different websites but once you click on them you are directed to another url.

Information added recently by trustpilot user noted the company directors names & date of births but it will have been seen by the culprits who are ripping people off. They complained to TrustPilot ofcourse!

But ofcourse they fail to display fees if your using a mobile phone to renew & dislike people finding out who they really are, that is why there is no info about them on thier websites!

They frequently move addresses and have a lot of dodgy websites for dvla renewals, vehicle log book requests, vehicle related issues.

On thier terms & conditions written by 'themselves' they say the data submitted isn't protected - meaning they will use your name, address, dob, national ins number & passport & mothers maiden name to carry out fraud.

Genuine companies have e'mail address & contact numbers with opening hours noted where you can speak with someone when you have a problem.

The address noted on licence safe website of 20-22 Wenlock Road,
London, N1 7GU is not thier address...it belongs to Companies Made Simple.

My husband called the company who is at 20-22 Wenlock Road and they said Licence safe are not allowed to use that address & they have already complained about them several times.

We've been duped of £93.00... for what should have been a £14 licence renewal.

Fraudulant company, e'mails being replied by a robot using names of staff that are listed on the companies made simple website.

The following are the same dodgy people:-

Support@my vehicles info
Licence online-uk.co.uk
dvladocumentservice.com
Licence assistance
Helpdesk at licenceassistance com
Drivingandvehicles.org
Licence Safe
Licencesecure
licencesafe.co.uk
Licence Safe (Licence Secure)

Theres some suggestion one of the companies registered with info comm office, again its a lie, the registration number ZA653624 at the bottom of
' my vehicles info ' website doesnt exist.
Again the contact address noted is
20-22 Wenlock Road, London.

All run via Company
ELECTRONIC CHECK LTD

This company uses 20-22 Wenlock Road, London. So maybe ... maybe 1 legit business but 10 others dodgy ripping people off!!!

Company number 12357601

2 active persons with significant control

Mr .... had to delete due to them complaining!!!
Date of birth

Mr ... had to delete due to them complaining!!!
Date of birth

I wouldn't be surprised if 20-22 Wenlock Road, London is also in on this too...

Refunds do happen - just be persistent

It took me 11 days and over 40 emails but eventually received a refund. Be persistent, Christine, Margaret and all in the chain very evasive and will not answer questions. I cancelled within. 10 minutes of placing the order having been mislead by the website. I cancelled even before the order confirmation arrived and was told no cooling off period allowed, even though consumer act states 14 days allowed for non financial services. It became a daily game of cat and mouse to see what rubbish and pressure would be placed on me to give up. I did get a refund so don't give up, talk to action fraud, trading standards to educate yourself first and just be persistent. Remember, they may not be breaking any laws but are sailing very close to it.......these companies need to be regulated more closely so keep reporting.

Driving licence renewal scam

Scam - same owner has multiple websites and keeps changing his company address. Previously Electronic Check Ltd trading as Driving Licence Safe. Previously 20-22 Wenlock road but according to Companies House this was changed recently to 61a West Ham Lane London E15 4SG.

Multiple websites include: vehicledriveronline.co.uk; vehicleassit.co.uk; driverhelper.co.uk; drivercheckonline.co.uk. They’re the same company purportedly at 20-22 Wenlock Road London, but changed to new address above with new website - does look more professional in design to: driving-licence-online.co.uk.

They charge £79 admin fee for driving licence renewal and offer free perks which you won’t have any details on so won’t be able to access them.

Report to action fraud, Citizens Advice, Trading standards, change your card details if you’re unlucky enough to get scammed and check your credit rating regularly. Bank may be able to help dispute but company say the’ve delivered on their their part of the bargain if drivers licence arrives, and their website is . deliberately misleading so you may not get anywhere. I’ve had 20 emails with Margaret from the company and she is skilled at avoiding the question.

BEWARE ITS A SCAM POSTING ON MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS ON TRUSTPILOT

BEWARE ITS A SCAM. Ignore the positive reviews, they are fake. These b******s now have your personal details, which is what you need to worry about far more than the £100 quid they steal!

Somehow I managed to put my details into the website instead of the DVLA when applying for a provisional. I had to email repeatedly to get a refund, but they didn’t refund the £34 for the licence and this was sent to me. It seemed totally pointless but then I realised that really the valuable thing for them is that they now have my, and everyone else’s, personal details to sell to criminals. Unfortunately I felt the need to take out a CIFAS protection against my name before criminals start using my details to apply for loans etc

DECEPTION BY drivinglicenceassistance

As with others, I was duped by this scam, I filled out the application for a license on Monday 26th April.
The START HERE button was well above any indication that their website was NOT the 'gov.uk' site I believed it to be, and no indication of the charges involved.
They have failed to issue an invoice despite a number of requests, and have not furnished me with any company details.
They do reply to emails but do not accept any liability and will not refund the £79 taken by their deception but I'm working on it.
I'm in contact with ACTION FRAUD and I am in the process of filling out a report, but I need the web address ofn this mob , can anybody help.

DONT GIVE UP

UPDATE: After 7 emails to this company I have finally got a full refund of £79, minus £14 for the driving license which I received. It looks genuine with all the hallmarks and comparing it to my husbands it looks identical. The only difference is the left hand corner says UK instead of the blue box with the stars. I guess this is because we have now left the EU. I am still pursuing the issue of data protection and still have reported them to the relevant companies as stated in previous reviews. I changed my bank card initially which took my refund longer to hit my account. Please don’t give up as you will get a full refund eventually.

Unfortunately

Unfortunately, this company highjacked as a 3rd party pop up when renewing my license, they do NOT make it clear what is being charged and it is NOT clear that you are not on the DVLA website when processing, the fact they are hiding behind a set of T's and C's that are NOT clear at all they should also know that Under the "distance selling regulations act" you have a right to cancel and are entitiled full refund within 14 days, this company completely ignore this and try to make you at fault and also try to tell you that you were "Made Aware" of what you were doing when you are not!! This company came up as a pop up and highjacked the DVLA website what they maybe doing in charging people may be "legal" but also LEGALLY you have a right to cancel goods or SERVICES for a FULL refund, especially if you contact the company straight away. This is absolute disgrace and needs to be stopped, if anyone out there reading this does want to team up and take this company to court trust me I will be there with you!!!
