L & I Eaton ARC Ltd Reviews 

Regrettably, I’m afraid I am going to have to give this company negative feedback.
My principal reasons are as follows;
1. This company were instructed to carry out a straightforward repair on the edge of the rear door of our Motability vehicle, which houses a hydraulic lift at the back for the wheelchair. They were not qualified to repair the arm to the wheelchair, which had also been damaged due to a design fault when the vehicle was converted.
2. I found that trying to get through on the telephone was consistently quite difficult and their recorded messages, in the voice of an American lady, was quite amusing since she stated that if you wish to leave a voicemail, please press the £sign. I’m not sure what this is anyway it left me very confused.
2. The repair to the door was quite straightforward. I am not sure whether they repaired the door or fixed a completely new door.
In any event, upon receipt of the vehicle I was absolutely gobsmacked to find that the door that had been repaired/replaced, when closed did not align with the door on the other side. In fact it was out by about 1 cm !?! This would allow rain/water to get into the vehicle at the rear which may cause damage to the hydraulic lift.
3. The repair took far too long and caused us considerable inconvenience as this vehicle was specifically adapted to the needs of 3 disabled brothers.
4. There was absolutely no feedback in relation to the progress of the repair, whilst in their possession, or indeed any indication as to what it was that they intended to do with the repair.
5. The only reason I have given this a one star is that the chap who dropped off the vehicle was an extremely polite gentleman and very helpful.
My biggest grievance is the fact that I am very very disappointed that a company who purport to be the best, and the largest in the UK, have quite incompetently and carelessly, bordering on negligence, undertaken a repair which is wholly unsatisfactory. Unfortunately ,we will have to endure further distress and significant inconvenience once the vehicle is taken again, so that the door can be repaired and properly aligned when closed.

L and I Eaton ( Keith division) were super efficient from start to finish. Their instructions were clear as to how the vehicle repair would be dealt with and communication was excellent while the repair was carried out keeping us up to date.
The standard of repair was outstanding. As someone who has been involved in automotive repair work in the past I have some understanding of the level of skill required to achieve such a high standard of workmanship.
The vehicle was returned to us within a week which, given the damage is very quick.
They even found time to give the interior a thorough clean.
Thank you to everyone at L and I Eaton Keith, we are so appreciative of your work.

This business was used by my insurance company when my car was damaged. The team kept me up to date throughout, all staff were friendly and the whole experience was exceptionally efficient.

Would recommend these guys. They kept me informed with the progress of the repairs on my car and the work was done to a high standard.

My circumstances meant a request to expedite the works and it was accommodated. Phone updates throughout and a decent courtesy car made me feel like I was a respected customer.
The car was returned in good time for me ahead of my travels. It has been done to a very high spec and I'm very happy with it.

The valeting of the car was also top class,( I have paid for valeting many times previously but this experience far exceeded that). A really excellent company to deal with from top to bottom. The company were very helpful and kept checking in on myself at all times. The man who collected my car was extremely helpful both collecting and returning of the car.

Wonderful service. The Dunfermline branch has a star employee! E made over and beyond effort to ensure I got my courtesy car even though the fault was none of the company's own. E wasn't feeling well, but really calmed my frustration - not with L&E Eaton), tears and worry. I'd say this woman is akin to a cup of tea after an upside down day.
The work done was excellent like I'd never been hit and the service top notch. My car was cleaned and shiny like new.
I'd recommend this company everytime.

Advertised a Range Rover for sale, but when one checked the Registration number on the Government MOT site, it appears this Registration number doesn't exist ??
Emailed for an explanation and I was ignored !

This business is outstanding, from collection of the car, keeping me informed about progress to the excellent quality of the repairs, and excellent customer service. I would not hesitate to use this company again and make the upmost recommendations to other possible customers.

L&I Eaton were incredibly professional all the way through our vehicle being repaired. We were kept informed with regular phone calls to us. We have no hesitation in recommending this company.

We cannot fault L and I Eaton -- Keith Branch. Our car was picked up and taken to L and I from our home north of Inverness. John, the person who came to collect our car, was friendly and professional. He took the time to inspect the damage and explain the steps involved in the repair. We thought we would be without our car for at least two weeks. We were contacted almost daily with updates on our car repair, and on the 5th day were told that our car had been repaired and would be delivered to us the following day. A nice young man had our car returned to us by 10 am the following day! Overall, this was an exemplary, and much less stressful than it could have been, experience!
