Myself and another family member have each owned MXL 13 countertop units for many years. We both feel the unit delivers quality drinking water. It has especially helped with a medical circulation issue by alleviating symptoms. These units both require a maintenance rotation involving 5 different filters. The unit only has a notification system for filters #1 and #2. It does not alert to when the two external pre-filters need changing or to when the citric acid cleaning filter is due. Keeping track by use of a calendar would not be accurate since changing these filters is based on the rate of usage, more than the passing of time. Built in technology for notifications of necessary filter maintenance schedules should be incorporated to the units, given the individualized complexity of factors involved in this schedule. In addition, these filters are very pricy and can be difficult to receive in a timely manner. Installation issues as well as error code messages have occurred. It is reassuring to reach a real person for customer service instead of a mechanical respondent.

We had a 9100 unit we bought in 2012 and it has lasted 14 years. We just got the new MX15 and it installed perfectly. We look forward to many years of healthy water. We have always had good service after the sale and never entertained going anywhere else but Life Ionizers. Ricardo is a very nice employee with a caring attitude and works hard to ensure customers are up and working. Kudos to your team.

I called life ionizers for technical assistance and Paul was great. He resolved the issue within seconds.

The prompt response to my problem with my ionizer faucet . I called Life Ionizer customer service and spoke to Paul, he organized their contracted plumber to come out.

Exceptional Technical support. I had a broken faucet and Ricarrdo walked me through how to repair it. It was a 15 year old unit and has worked flawlessly. The faucet was broken by someone looking at the house. The quality of the faucet was not the problem; it was clearly abused. I’ve had the MXL-9 alkaline water machine for a few years now and it’s been rock solid. The water tastes great, the system is easy to use, and it’s been very low maintenance. I love knowing I’m drinking clean, alkaline water every day without constantly buying bottled water. Definitely worth the investment and I’d buy it again if I needed to.

Have had this Ionizer filtration system since 2018, but 2025, has been a terrible year for ordering filters and parts that have taken months and still not received it! Not able to drink filtered water! Makes you wonder about your choices when you buy a reputable filtration system!

Me and my family love this, it is amazing when you wake up at 3am with a mouth like the Sahara and you can pour yourself a glass of this beautiful crisp and cold water. It also amazing for cooking my pasta turns out so much better with this water and everything else I’ve cooked with it. My laundry is also so clean and much softer with this water if you aren’t using this you are missing out!
