Do not recommend
We purchased a swingset at the start of July 2023. For a start, we had to contact them many times to get the items to actually arrive, as they only delivered one item. Many emails and many phone calls until someone went and checked the warehouse to find all the items were there.
The swingset is very flimsy and poor quality. We assembled it using the instructions (my husband is an engineer, so he knows how to assemble things properly). The swingset was very wobbly from the start and bolts fell out. The problem became more serious when the top bolts (holding the actual swing) slipped out while the kids were playing.
When it happened, I wrote and they told me to tighten the bolts. We did, and it happened again. My husband had a look and decided there was an issue with the bolts- they are a poor choice and become un-threaded easily. They had been done tightly enough to put dents into the wood.
The second time it happened, the bolt slipped out and my daughter fell to the ground and hit her head. Now, we have not been using it anymore.
We have been contacting the company about this issue since about March when we had only been using it for 6 months, and have been emailing back and forth. We sent them all the things they have requested. The response has been to bring it in so they can check it (we live in another state) or that the screws need to be changed. Now, they are saying they will not give us a refund as it has been 'used for almost a year'. (August-March = 8 months)
We have checked with the ACCC. As it has some major faults causing it to be unsafe, this comment is irrelevant, so it is frustrating to have to follow up a refund we are legally entitled to. We are still in contact and hoping for a better resolution. The next step will be to lodge a complaint with ACCC.
On other independent review sites I have seen this is a more common issue than i thought.
** Edit: after posting the review, LSK reached out to us and offered a refund and it has now been resolved.

Sorry to hear about this issue and we apologise for how this was handled. We can see that this case has been brought up with management for review on a return and refund or return and replacement. The design on the model you have received is an old design which factory has addressed and reinforced with additional bolts to lock in the joint section of the frame on this new frame.

My grandson LOVES it!!
Great product, service and most importantly, the manual !!! You can actually follow it and if you do, it will all come together wonderfully. Just take your time and don't ever rush the assembly.

Research suppliers
Research suppliers, we brought direct from the company paid premium delivery cost. Found the item at Bunnings $200 cheaper including delivery. So this caused us to look around and found the item on average $200 cheaper including delivery fees. Can't understand how buying direct is more expensive than buying from third party.
The wood needed finish sanding as is quite rough for little hands, found a few pieces split and some pieces had chunks missing. At first I thought maybe when the packing was done or during transport. But there was no damage to the boxes and no debris in the box so this indicates during the manufacturing process.
Not sure how long this will last in the Far North of Australia, I have gave each piece a good treatment to try and prolong the life, so only time will tell.

While we do supply to Bunnings, they are a separate business that operates with their own sales and promos. Unfortunately, we hold no control on how they price their products and their shipping as they have their own courier as well. However, we can review for pricematch if you reach out to us on this and send us the link of the product you wish to purchase.
As for the damages, we can see that our team is already working on this for a warranty claim and will forward the photo you sent to the manufacturer for them to address this oversight. Our team will reach out to you shortly during assessment of the issue.

The mud kitchen top broke after one day of use. the structure seems flimsy and had to be heavily supervised while the children used it to decrease further damage.

The box was delivered out the front of the house next to post box without notifying us. My wife was home all day and it would have been great if they announced their arrival not just dump the boxes and leave.

Sorry to hear about how this was delivered and we appreciate your comment.
As we are a medium sized company, we do not have our own inhouse logistics that can complete our deliveries. We rely on third party services to transport and deliver all the orders we received. Normally for standard deliveries, delivery time frames are not guaranteed and are rough estimations given to us by our allocated couriers. Delivery is only available from Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm. If the drivers deem the delivery location to be safe, they may leave it at the premises (https://www.lifespankids.com.au/pages/delivery-and-pick-up-information). We would pass on your contact details to the courier however, it would be up to the driver whether they will notify through SMS. We do provide tracking details to customers for you to track the status of your delivery and for you to be notified if it is onboard for delivery. We will forward this feedback to Allied Express for them to address with your assigned driver on that day.
