Terrible experience from start to finish. The Adelaide movers showed up 7 hours
late with no proper communication or apology. When they finally
arrived, they were rude and unprofessional.

The final price was much higher than what was quoted, even though I
had already agreed with the office (specifically the lady I booked
with) to pay the quoted amount directly to her. Despite this, the
movers refused to unload my mattress until I paid them on the spot,
essentially holding my belongings hostage.

They worked very slowly, and when unpacking into storage, they were
careless and didn’t bother stacking or organizing things properly. I
ended up having to repack the storage unit myself just to prevent
damage.

Completely unreliable, dishonest with pricing, and zero care for
customer service. Avoid at all costs.

**Very Disappointing Experience with Lift and Shift Movers, Adelaide**

I recently booked Lift and Shift Movers for my move in Adelaide and unfortunately had a very bad experience. Here are the issues I faced:

1. **Late Arrival:** The movers arrived over an hour late. Their immediate excuse was that their vehicle wouldn't start, which set the whole move off to a bad start.
2. **Time Wasting:** It felt like the movers were deliberately wasting time to extend the job and increase the charges.
3. **Refusal to Move Items:** They refused to move my cupboards, suggesting I should contact the company I purchased them from instead. This was extremely confusing—why call a moving company if they can't move basic furniture?
4. **Unprofessional Payment Demands:** They demanded full payment before even finishing the job, citing "company rules." After getting their money, they left the unpacking half-done and just walked out.
5. **Rude Attitude:** When I questioned them about any of these issues, they were rude and dismissive.

Overall, I do **not** recommend Lift and Shift Movers. This was a stressful and disappointing experience from start to finish.
