Very disappointing experience with Northern Gym.
I ordered gym mats and received items that were completely different from what I originally purchased. Despite sending photos and clear explanations, the company has been extremely slow and unhelpful in resolving the issue. Communication has been frustrating — I keep being told things are “raised with management” instead of actually being given a solution. Weeks later, I still don’t have what I paid for, and there seems to be little urgency to correct their mistake.
I expected a professional, customer-focused company, but sadly this has been the opposite. I wouldn’t recommend Northern Gym based on my experience.

10/10 customer service
I ordered a few sets of Olympic plates, unfortunately one set went missing during my delivery, I contacted customer service and Ryan couldn’t have been more apologetic, and provided regular updates as he coordinated the missing package with DPD. Although a few weeks on, I’ve received a tracking number today for a replacement set. I must say, the quality of the ones I received are brilliant for the price, and customer service is second to none. Will be using Northern Gym for any future equipment

Re-ordered 10kg standard weight…
I re-ordered 10kg standard weight plates, already had two but ordered four more for the set. Unfortunately the 4 new ones are a mismatch to the others, different mould; rougher finish, thicker and the daimeter 1/2" inch smaller than previous. Disappointing.

Amazing service!
I had a need for some weights to compliment my existing Mirafit set and I was after some good value hex dumbbells that allowed me to gradually increase my lifts. I stumbled across Northern via a search online and luckily got in at a time where it was up to 25% off (15% for my order value).
Dumbbells were a great price without the discount so to get that discount also really was a steal! Ordered at 9.40am Friday and I received a dispatch email within the hour, I was amazed to see that happen so quickly. Whilst I hadn’t paid for next day delivery, Northerns quick dispatch meant I had the items the next day via DPD.
The dumbbells compliment my Miraifit ones completely and bar the fact the ordered ones have the usual greasy feel and smell (like my Mirafit ones did when I bought them) you’d do well to say they weren’t part of my original set! Quality is completely matched.
Thanks for the amazing service here, and don’t let some of the negative reviews put you off :)

Ordered a dumbbell set and rack
Ordered a dumbbell set and rack. The rack turned up damaged and additional holes drilled in them. Emailed Northern Gym Equipment who apologised and said they would apply a 10% reduction to the overall but never applied it. Stuck with a dumbbell rack that doesn’t store the dumbbells and has holes in it. Poor quality.
