I came to the web site to buy a fan just like the one that failed after two years of use, since it is a great looking fan. SO I knew exactly what I wanted.

Easy to do everything except pay for it. The site balked when I tries PayPal. It just quit. SO I tried Apple Pay which appeared to work. I even hit "Pay".... no indication that it went through. I checked with the "Chat folks for help... No luck with the first chat. Or the second... Or the third... I called and after about 3 attempts to identify my transaction they said Apple Pay can be slow, just wait 30 minutes and if you haven't received confirmation, call us again.

I finally ordered it with a credit card and received an email.

Good price... large hassle.

I ordered fixtures from them. The product description said they were LED lights. The lights that arrived were standard A19 screw in bulbs not LED. I sent them an email. They did not stand by the price and I returned them and reordered the correct ones at a higher price from a quote they gave me. Days later I was informed that the fixtures are discontinued and the order was cancelled.

The pop-ups asking for chat assistance with ordering, etc. are distracting and extremely annoying. Customers need a clear option to disable these.

I have ordered several lights and accessories from LNY. Their chat line is extremely helpful if you need assistance on items or returns. I have had to return a couple of items because they were not the right size. Their return policy was so easy to use. I have been very satisfied with LNY and continue to use them.

Lighting NY is a predatory company, claiming not to have restocking fees, but charging exorbitant fees for returns, simply under a different label.

The customer service is unhelpful and condescending to the point of nastiness. Their skimpy discount in no way compensates for the monumental headache in dealing with Lighting NY's dishonesty and scheming.

I plan to open a dispute via Amex. Avoid Lighting NY if you value your time and sanity.

I ordered two of the same fixtures - one had a slightly damaged part and the process to receive a new part was seamless and quick with excellent customer service. The fixtures are beautiful and are great quality at a reasonable price.

Product seems to be high quality, was delivered on time.

Be aware of their cost games they play. Their discounts listed on the website are not accurate. It states there is a 25% discount but then they quote only a 20% discount, Also the exact same lamp was on another website at a lower cost and Lighting New York does not honor their price match policy. They did not offer 150% discount like their policy states. They only offered a 30% discount which still left the lamp more expensive than the competitors website.
