What is ‘fibre’ vs ‘full fibre’?
Unlike a ‘fibre’ network, which may include slow, old copper wire, we have a ‘full fibre’ broadband network. This means our FTTP/FTTH (fibre to the premises / fibre to the home) network connects our street cabinets directly to your home modem using fibre optic cables all the way. This is why our network is both "hyper reliable and hyperfast".

We contacted lightning fibre with a view to having super fast fibre installed. In just over a week from site visit the installation was completed and everything was switched over to the new system. The installation was done to a high standard by Glenn who was very helpful throughout. Excellent company to deal with so far five stars by us 👍

Superb experience, Rob arrived on time8am and completed the job, very tidy and fixed the wall mounted unit to hide the wiring, 2.5GB Fibre installed and working fine. Rob very polite and do a great job, an asset to the company.

I had been a customer for over two years and I started to get intermittent disconnections. Tech support could see no reason for these disconnections and so sent a new (higher spec) router. When this was plugged in in caused all sorts of problems. I contacted Tech Support and Kirk worked with me for several hours to identify the problem. Initially he believed that the issues were being caused by a device on my network. He methodically worked with me disconnecting and re-connecting devices and finally realised that the problem was being caused by the firmware version of the router. He rolled back the firmware to the previous version and once he changed this everything worked perfectly. I am sure that one of the big suppliers like Sky would not have put in the time and effort to resolve matters and would have just erroneously blamed the matter on a device on my network. On release of the newest version of the firmware (the one after the one that caused the issue) he installed this and everything worked perfectly. Kirk went above and beyond!
