Poor customer service

The customer service system instructed to contact through email, phone, or chat, but neither of them responded in real-time. According to the 14-day return policy, it is designed to prevent customer from returning ordered items.

Beautiful Outdoor Lanterns

I couldn’t be happier with the two outdoor lanterns we purchased for our new screened porch. This was my first time shopping with Lightopia and I found the website informative and easy to navigate. I also appreciated the discount for first-time buyers. The lanterns arrived within 3 days and installation went smoothly.

Cheap finishing pieces for being expensive

The bottom threads on the Brody light fixture center piece go down farther than the cap piece will go up. So the decorative panel you put up isn’t flush and has a huge wobbly gap. For spending $400 for a light fixture to have it look like it was $50 is disappointing. My husband is going to try to find a washer with the right finish to put in between to see if we can get the finished cap piece to screw in tighter and sit flush/ otherwise waste of money and will be returning

Need to send tracking

The light I bought arrived quickly and was in excellent condition. Packed very well (almost too well as it required a lot of cutting tape to unbox). The lamp quality is great. My only complaint is that I never received a tracking email. I had to repeatedly go to the order on the site until the tracking showed up.

15 months is simply a little too long…

15 months is simply too long for the correct fixture to arrive! The service people could NOT have done more to try to help, but the manufacturer/ supplier, transport, etc... was beyond awful. Having said that, I would give the retail staff/management team at Lightopia itself 10 stars. They were as frustrated as I was.

The product we ordered worked even…

The product we ordered worked even better than we expected and was packed with extra features. The only issue was that it came with two types of mounting brackets— but the ones we needed had to be ordered separately, at extra cost.

No extension rods or 3-way switch

I purchased the XL fan as I have a 15’ ceiling. The site states it provides for extensions. I was under the impression that the fan would come with extension rods; it does not. I had to run to Lowe’s to pick up a 48” rod for the installer.

It would be helpful to make it clear that this fan does NOT come with any extension rods so that 1) you can be prepared and 2) budget for the additional cost.

Also, the switch provided is not compatible with a 3-way switch so if you can turn your fan off and on from 2 separate areas, you will need to purchase a 3-way fan switch in addition to the extension rods adding about $90 to the cost.

The lamp rod comes in 3 pieces and…

The lamp rod comes in 3 pieces and screw together on the metal portion. The wooden pieces do not and you can see they aren't flush. For the price I would've expected one piece.
