Quality products and service.

This is the latest of a number of watches that I have bought from Lilienthal Berlin. Therefore , it is clear that I am a very satisfied customer. I really like the minimalist stying of the watches. In addition , the quality of manufacture is superb. The products simply impress with their feel and appearance. I hava also raised some queries with the company and the customer service has always been excellent.

I bought chronograph blue orange…

I bought chronograph blue orange Lilienthal berlin watch. The watch seemed used and the night mode isn't working the way they advertised. Their return policies are very complicated . It says with in 14 days it must send back to Hong Kong for approvale. I live in Canada why would I send it to Hong Kong ? Doesn't seems legit .....

I ordered a new watch on 9/12/24. Got a little impatient after two weeks and e-mailed in after searching on google for their average UK delivery time (3 days normally) I was replied to with what seemed to be a tracking tag which upon inspection hadn't even reached a depot. They said "Unfortunately, there have been unexpected delays, which is why we can dispatch your requested watch from the mid of January onwards. We are doing our utmost so that you can wear your watch soon! I sincerely apologize for the delay in delivery and thank you for your patience and understanding. It's amazing it took them 2 minutes to cancel my order but almost two weeks to inform me of a late parcel. I'd have waited a minimum of 5 weeks since ordering for before xmas 😂 no anger left anymore just sick of the standards that a lot of businesses work to. I am well aware its Christmas. Their watches look lovely but the complete lack of information and ultimately care are very apparent. The more concerning statistics come when you define their reviews by verified purchases only, you will find 70+% are 1 star reviewed for this financial quarter. I find some of the reviews here also extremely suspicious and aimed towards their completely lacking customer service but instead double down and claim this is what the company did well. Although I have no proof there are far too many alarm bells when you investigate their page further. Not to be trusted for me, too many red flags

Very nice watch

Very nice watch! Currently my favorite watch.
Bought it at a sale and even got free engraving on the back!
It is my second Lilienthal Chronograf Remix 1 watch, wanted a different color, the design is very clean and of high quality.
The time adjuster is very slim so it doesn't hook up with clothes. I bought it with the leather strap, comfortable and good looking.

Awful after sales care.

My wife bought me a new watch to celebrate the birth of our first child. After just a few weeks the watch kept losing time. We contacted the company 14th June and they replied on the 18th of July and asked us to send the watch back for a service check and repair. We were advised the repair would be up to 9 weeks. This was sent back in July and as of Today 21st December the watch hasn't been returned and no responses forthcoming from emails sent via their customer contact forms and emails.

Very disappointing as I have another watch bought from the company back in 2021 which I've been very happy with and which is why we bought a second.

We have chased the issue 4 further times and had no responses. So far no update on repair, replacement or refund.

I would really prefer to give zero…

I would really prefer to give zero stars. I ordered two watches as part of the promotion of two watches for the price of one on 2nd November 2024. My order was shipped within a reasonable amount of time, but only one watch arrived.

When I emailed to enquire about the shipment of the second watch I was assured the watch would be shipped ‘shortly’; this was on 17th November 2024.

My second watch arrived on 17th December. The watch shipped is different to the one I ordered, and the watch originally ordered no longer appears to be available on the website.

When I sent my original email querying when I would receive my second watch they were very clear to point out that if I were to request a refund I would need to return both watches.

I agree with other posts that this seems like a scam. I’ve now been wearing the first watch for a number of weeks. There seem to be a number of common themes across reviews on Trustpilot; please do not ignore them. I would hazard that these reflect the true experiences of customers making purchases from this organisation.

Fast shipping and costumer support

Unlike many other reviews, my experience with this company was excellent. I placed an order on December 11th and received it today (in Portugal). I also contacted customer support via e-mail, and they responded within 8 minutes!

Misleading delivery times!

Customer service have replied with the below
"Unfortunately, due to unexpected technical problems, we are unable to dispatch your requested watch immediately although the watch is
available as shown in our online shop. We can assure you that the watch will be shipped from the the end of this week onwards."
However they are still advertising the said watch with 1-3 day UK despatched, knowing that this can not be achieved!
Still misleading customers on delivery times!
They haven't advised me as what the technicians issue is!

Order a watch for a 60th birthday present due to the advertised 1-3 days UK despatched. Still waiting for this to be despatched. Emailed company for an explanation and update as to when it will be delivered... I am still waiting for their reply!
Avoid this company at all costs!

Terrible overall experience

Terrible overall experience. I got attracted to these watches due to their excellent pictures and marketing on the web. I decided to order two watches for christmas presents. Delivery was not the fastest I've seen, but since I had plenty of time before Christmas Eve, it didn't bother me. Yet, upon receiving the package, nightmare begins. First of all, the watch box is pure cardboard, really below any standards. No paperwork, manual or any other thing included, but a QR code to download the manual. Terrible presentation for watches that are supposed to be design-oriented. Moreover, the look and specially the feel of the watches is really poor. Any chinese mokup has a better feel than these watches. Metals are very heavy and unconfortable to wear due to very rough edges all around, specially where the armis joins the watch, which is terrible. While the overall quality of the first watch I opened (Huxley II) was poor, my biggest surprise came upon opening the seconf one, as they sent me the wrong model. After looking for a long time for a contact phone or email in their web site with no luck, I ended up in a different web site where they have a contact form. I sent a request using their form, which took them 4 days to answer, and their response to my complaint about receiving the wrong watch was that the package had been delivered. I insisted with a new email again with the problem of the wrong model, and this second time, they proposed for me to send the watch back (free slow transport offered) and, once received, they said they would send the right one, which would render it impossible for me to receive it in time for christmas eve. So, I opted for throwing them to the trash, because they are not good enough to be used as a decent present, and got two more watches from a more serious company who offers much more quality, with much better packaging and 24 hour delivery, for half the price. The quality of these watches is garbage, their service is terrible, they are way overprice for their quality and they don't know anything about customer service.

Selling watches they don’t have and hoping you don’t notice

After reading other reviews I’m very suspicious that the company is purposely selling watches they don’t have. How are they suddenly having this much shipping and stock issues.
I ordered a watch at the end of November as a Christmas present. It was scheduled to arrive by December 18th. Weeks passed with no communication and no shipping info. Like others, only when I reached out to them did they inform me that they “sold more than they had” and no watch was ever going to come. A refund or credit was offered but unless they respond immediately and ship me a new watch with expedited shipping this week, the damage is done and I will have no gift to give my loved one for Christmas.
I’m not sure how a company is allowed to hold your money for an item they do not have. If I were to borrow money for a month, I’d owe interest. Companies should be held to that same standard imo.
Very disappointed.

Ordered 2 watches in 3rd December told 1-3 day dispatch. Still waiting for an email for dispatch and tracking information. Ordered for a Christmas present. Will be very disappointed if not here for Christmas.

Lilienthal 1 all blue

I bought a Lilienthal 1 all blue approx 5 year ago, I had ordered the large dial however when |I recieved it I realised I would rather have the small dial, I called the factory and they said they would change it,even sending a prepaid envolope to return the other one. I can only say I have enjoyed my watch, it keeps excellent time also been well admired. Thank you.

I have ordered a watch for Christmas…

I have ordered a watch for Christmas that said it would be delivered in 3-8 days. It's been 9 days with no further communication, so I emailed them today for them to say there are delays and it won't be dispatched until 16th Dec, making it unlikely that it will arrive in time to give to the recipient in time for Christmas. This is really frustrating and disappointing but it seems not uncommon based on the reviews here. I should have read them beforehand!

On 13.11.2014 I ordered a men's watch and a second women's watch in the 1+1 promotion for free, while the men's watch was for my husband's birthday on 6.12. On 25.11. I contacted company when my order will be delivered. They assured me that I would receive the men's watch on time. On 26.11. I received a women's watch, which was declared as free. Since then, I have tried to contact the company without success. Now I'm facing a problem, as I don't have a gift for my husband, and I must invest more money and time to buy an adequate. I am surprised by the ignorance of email communication with which the company approaches the customer. The delivery information is false and misleading. I do not recommend buying from this company, as advertising is everywhere on the networks, but the customer service is very poor or non-existent.

Overall a positive experience

After reading some of the negative reviews I did have reservations but both watches arrived within a few days. Unfortunately one of the watches had been sent with the wrong strap and a loose screw on the back (that was easily fixed). Seeing other reviews I was expecting issues with returns etc however I sent a photo and email and received a replacement in a couple of days (before I’ve even sent the other one back which is quite amazing) so can’t fault the service. As far as the watches go they are quite striking (went for 2 of the chronographs in the bogof offer - orange and blue) and feel pretty solid. The only negative is I find the link type metal strap a bit cheap and lightweight, with one of them having quite a rough finish on the underside that had to be filed off - no better than a £15 one from Amazon really. Overall good value for what I paid for them but might struggle to justify the full asking price if I’d paid that.
