Horrible experience
Omg ! Being honest here. What is the point of you providing service if you consider half of the Stockholm as no zone. I travelled late night around 1 o’clock I took the worst decision choosing you. I spent almost good amount of money for 1 km ride as you keep alarming no zone even in Stockholm. If service can’t help when you really need it what is the point ? Ask yourself guys. No wonder why people suggest Voi and Bolt e-scooters ☹️ you sucks. Period
Far too many no ride zones in London
Far too many no ride zones in London. Lime app is utterly useless for travel unless you know where you're going. So you end up using another map app that then leads you to roads closed by music festival and pride at Hyde park. Horrendous. Spent £15 trying to get to the theatre, then admitted defeat and spent another £5 trying to find a parking area. Jumped in a cab which cost £25 to go nowhere because of the terrible traffic. Missed the show. Went back home.

I was incorrectly charged money with no receipt. Ive submitted three requests and replied to each request over email every 48 hours for over a month and no one has responded! This service is shocking. I want my refund.
Broken parts
Over the past two months. I have had many issues with broken bikes and leaving me late for appointements. Pedals missing, chain broken, handle bars broken etc…. Not reliable
age limit
the age limit is so stupid scooters are more than usable and safe for people under 18 putting that just loses business from more people
Appalling service
Appalling service. I tried to book 3 bikes that you can see them on the map around me but they were simply not there. I have used the ring button numerous times for no avail. The one I did find to ride had the back wheel damaged but I didn’t see until after I paid, so I had to stop it 1 minute in. I spent 25 minutes around my block wasting my time with this! Really bad service. I will never use them again

I did a group ride and set it up on the app .. the thing is a scooter was broken and the app charged around 100 for a 2 mile ride. So I emailed and the reply was .. we were riding in a no go zone that's why bag things happened .. I'd handle getting a middle finger then a lame excuse and complete untruth.
This is a huge scam
This is a huge scam. $50 FOR ONLY ONE HOUR! I’d definitely use metro bikes instead, much more affordable. Only $5 for an hour. Never using any lime products again.
Unsafe, broken and dirty bikes
Why do I keep paying for roughly 800 minutes of lime bike usage a month if hordes of people (and not just wayward teenagers) don’t? I have recently noticed that the quality of the bicycles has declined noticeably, often forcing me to swap bikes during my cycle, as they are simply unsafe after having been used and abused by those breaking the security mechanisms. There is no incentive for those users who pay, treat the bicycles with respect, adhere to the parking rules, etc.
Rip off
The bike’s lights were broken. I didn’t realise till after I paid. The biggest surprise was the price I paid -£12 for a ride of 3.5 miles. Would have been cheaper to get an uber. Shocking.
London - get the bus instead!!
London - [First of all, why is Lime listed as a car accessories shop on Trustpilot?]. I picked up a Lime bike to travel the 20 mins or so to work. First time ever. Journey was fine, though I now know why riders often look so unstable and wobbly- the bikes are very, very heavy, and the power engages very abruptly. My main issue was that It was shockingly expensive. The same journey by bus is £1.75 - I paid £7.67 to Lime for 23 mins so it’s not just a bit more expensive but four times the cost. Can’t see a reason why I would bother using Lime again.
If I could give 0 stars I would - credit card fraud!!!
If I could give 0 stars I would. Lime were somehow able to access 2 different bank cards via my ApplePay, and double charged me for multiple rides, despite me never authenticating this. These charges do not show up in my Lime account, only on my bank statements. I contacted Lime regarding this, and they have since gone completely silent - refusing to respond to emails. I am going to be contacting the police regarding this, as it is fraud. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
Ongoing Obstruction from E-Bike Parking…
Ongoing Obstruction from E-Bike Parking – Unacceptable
Since an e-bike parking bay was installed next to a drop kerb leading into a private garage, we’ve had constant issues. Bikes are regularly dumped outside of the marked area — directly in front of the garage, on the pavement, and even in a nearby alley — making it extremely difficult (and sometimes impossible) to access the property.
This is causing major problems for an elderly disabled resident who relies on that access for hospital appointments and daily transport. Despite the location being clearly unsuitable, nothing has been done to stop this misuse.
We’ve had enough. If this isn’t resolved, we’ll be taking the matter further. Companies providing these bikes must take responsibility for where their parking bays are placed and how their users behave. This is causing real-world harm and needs urgent attention.
Lime bikes dumped in rivers causing…
Lime bikes dumped in rivers causing pollution from their batteries and yet Lime are doing nothing to prevent this. Shit company.
Missed the mark…
It is pretty expensive and the bikes are really heavy and awkward to manoeuvre. Definitely made with men in mind as I don’t have that small hands but 5 minutes in my hands were in pain as trying to reach the breaks over the bulky handle is incredibly difficult if you have female or small hands.
Its a scam
From broken pedals, out if service bikes to failed prepayments resulting in massive charges. Lime are a scam. Lets work together to get them thrown out if town.
The company has allowed fraud to take place on my card
The company has allowed my bank account to be drained. I could not get to work as a result of fraud on my card through someone using my card details in multiple rides. They will not acknowledge my request for my days salary as compensation. Just putting it out there as their customer service team has been ignorant and inconsiderate.
Two scooters, two dead batteries
I rented TWO scooters in Austin TX. Both batteries died! I had to push both to a legal parking area to end my rides WHILE paying for the rental. Never again!!!!
Great idea, very poorly executed.
Started using Lime bikes in London a month ago. In theory, it’s obviously a great idea to get a city mobile and often quicker than public transport. The execution is woeful. Not nearly enough capacity for demand, broken bikes reported by users are left in service for the next unassuming person to find, GPS is sometimes inaccurate so you can’t find the bike you reserved, selfish users get away with hiding or locking bikes yet nothing is done when reported.
The payment system and time limits mean that when you face an issue of an unusable bike with not another one nearby, you have to spend more time writing complaint emails to get a refund.
Save the effort. Buy or rent your own bike. That’s what I’ll be doing from now on.
Lime, your infrastructure and processes are hopeless.
I like using the bikes but the customer…
I like using the bikes but the customer service is horrifically bad. I lost 90 minutes from the 400 I bought because the app glitched and I couldn’t back on. When I reported it no one got back to me and I was just sent a notification saying, “you don’t have to pay for this ride”, which mattered little to me given I had already paid for the minutes anyway. Unless I get my minutes refunded I strongly stand by this.
