I provided the link and all my contact information on Wenesday . The online rep told me that someone from the company will get in touch with me. No one has contacted me and today is Sunday.

Linenchest has the worst customer service ever. I bought a quilt with faulty seams and really horrible. I stay 45km from Gatineau. I wrote to customer service, called 5 times during business hours and on the days I was told the manager was working to speak to her. She's always off or sick. I've written 4 emails to the Gatineau team and no one has answered for almost a month. At first I wanted a discount, now I want a refund. I'm going return the quilt tomorrow and never again buy from this store or from this compagnie with a terrible work ethic.

The ordering, delivery and product were fine but it all went bad when I needed to return it. The return process is arduous and now I'm stuck in "chat" and email hell. They won't return my emails and the chat option is a nightmare. I can't get anywhere with them. They have the product and I don't have my money or even a credit note. Please help!

I placed an online order and received the item with a missing piece. As a result, I can't assemble or use it. I immediately contacted customer service via online chat, submitted my request, and quickly responded to their email with the requested photos. Since then—nothing. It's been 24 days. I've followed up via email, tried online chat again, but was never transferred to a representative. They have no phone number, and I can’t get to a store. Extremely disappointing customer service.
Update: Linen Chest has responded to this review and has resolved the issue (it took quite a while, but eh! it is resolved :) )

No customer service, only poor automated chatbots. Shipments take forever - I ordered a duvet on January 5th, January 17th it showex “order created”, January 20th it showed “shipment received at shipping facility” and no updates since (it’s now January 28th). Impossible to call or speak with a human. These type of customer service experiences guarantee that I do not give a company future business.

I ordered two pink carpets on January 9th, 2025. On the Linen Chest website, it states that it takes 1-7 business days for items to ship. I waited 8 days for the first carpet to ship and an extra day for the second. Cool. I know the holidays can be stressful and it was a busy time for all. However, what I cannot excuse is one of the items I received: a grey-ish carpet. I clearly ordered two pinks, but got one that was a different color. After trying to contact customer service and getting no response (unless you count that robot on the chat service), I am beyond irritated with this company. Please do better.
UPDATE: They replied to my inquiry on January 23, and asked me to send them a picture of the incorrect item and a shipping address. They also let me know they would contact me shortly for a refund or replacement, but five days later, I have received no further communication. This company is a joke and their customer service is trash. I even tried calling the customer service number and it directs me to their website who is a: usually crashing, or b: to a stupid bot who can't fix human errors. I will not be ordering from this horrible company again, and instead of waiting for their response, I will take the incident to my bank and dispute their transaction. Truly shameful.

I ordered a duvet cover from this company, and the tracking indicated it was delivered with a “signature received.” However, I never got the package, and when I tried to resolve the issue, all I could reach was a chatbot promising that customer service would follow up. It’s been over two weeks, and I haven’t heard a word.
I’ve essentially lost my money on a product that never arrived. Their complete lack of response has been the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. Save yourself the trouble—shop elsewhere. This company does not stand behind its deliveries or offer any real support when things go wrong.

Customer service at this company is abysmal. I ordered 4 past dishes on the 2nd January. The parcel came on 9th January and contained only 1 dish.
I have since spent several very frustrating hours trying to get this rectified. The online chat is a joke. They have taken all my details several times and said someone will be in touch but I have heard nothing. I am very angry.

I ordered dishes online which came broken. I did an online chat with them with immediate response 3 times! Each time they asked for pictures which i responded immediately then they went dark, no further response, no resolve. They have no customer service phone nbr where u can chat (not right nowadays) to a living person!
Eventually i called an actual store where they were able to resolve the issue. Will know tomorrow when we go to store to get replacement dishes….

Really poor service for online orders. I have now ordered from linen chest online twice and I honestly wish I never had. First time, I ordered ceramic soap dispensers and they just put them all into a box, without any bubble wrap, paper, foam, nothing and shipped it from Quebec. Obviously when I recieved it, it was all broken, I could hear the pieces rattling around in the box before I even opened it. Customer service was useless, they kept refunding me the wrong amout...like the number is on the invoice, how hard is that?? Second time I opted for store pickup, thinking it would be easier. Nope, I ordered early December and I'm still waiting for it to arrive to the store ( it's January 23rd). Absolutely terrible store, if you can't handle online orders, then just don't do it. Never purchasing from them again.

It is true that customer service is lacking…
However, I placed 3 orders on line recently…Great prices, and free delivery.
I also called their store in Vaughan today and was so fortunate to talk to the supervisor, Wendy. She was so pleasant, professional and helpful and very open to some concerns that I had.
I will continue to support this Canadian store because of Wendy!

Customer service is nonexistent, after dealing with bot online I received email asking for details of the price adjustment and copy of my receipt. I provided everything to customer service the same day (Jan 2, 2025) it is now three weeks and I have sent 3 emails to them regarding a price adjustment of 17.52 and as of today there has been no response. I can see from all the reviews posted here that Linen Chest has failed to response to other customers, this was once a great company to deal with, I find the lack of responding appalling, there should be someway of holding them responsible.

I ordered a teapot and four teacups and three of the teacups came broken. I immediately messaged the live chat and emailed (have done it three times) and no one has gotten back to me. I wanted this set asap and it’s beyond frustrating that no one is answering. I don’t know how that’s even legal.

Their customer service is nonexistent. After chatting with the bot online, I got one email asking for details and information about the broken order that I received. I send them pictures as requested. That was over a month ago. I have sent numerous follow up emails and have never heard back from them. I have never experienced such appalling customer service in my life.

Terrible customer service. The most expensive item from my order wasn’t in the box and filed a case but they have non existent customer support only useless bots.

I made a first time online order of 8 woven placemats; received 7 plus an odd one in size, and color.
There was no email or phone number to call so I got a robot chat.
No one contacted me back and it’s been two weeks.
Not having a phone number or email for customer service, and only a chatbot conversation has been very frustrating.
I tried the chatbot again today and was told I was next in line for a customer service rep. I waited some time before my tablet went to sleep and I lost the history.

Canadian owned is literally the only good thing about Linen Chest - their customer service is 100% non-existent, and the chatbot they try to pass off as customer service is good if you're in the mood to throw your computer monitor out the window - by far the worst experience I have had shopping online in I can't even remember how long. Long story short, I have been trying to process a return for an item I purchased on boxing day. I have requested a return (that needs photo proof of the item being returned) before they will send a return label - I followed all processes to get this done, and requested the return/uploaded a photo of the item on January 6th when it was received. The auto-generated email I received indicated that someone will contact me as soon as possible - I have since followed up 3 times, with no response. I called the only contact number I could find (which I assume is in Quebec), selected the customer service prompt and the recording tells you to check their website and speak to their virtual agent and circles back to the main line... literally not a person to speak to anywhere!!! Beyond frustrated with Linen Chest - I will absolutely not be a returning customer.

Awful customer service. Go elsewhere. They sent me the wrong item. I ordered set of sheets. What I get is the package for sheets but a random blanket is in there instead. I’ve tried their “bot”customer service. Weeks have gone by and no one has contacted me. This is insane. What kind of business is this? Never again.

After Linen Chest told me they would look into the order and expedite it the order has been delayed by another week. I didn't get an email nor an update. I had to check myself and the order has been pushed another week. By far the worst online experience I have ever had and I will never buy from this site again. Incredible!

I went through the whole process of ordering my items got to payment entered all my credit card info and a message that a "text message code" would be sent to verify my credit card - There was no choice as to how this code was to be received - I do not have "text " capability - they now have my credit card info and I have no confidence that the information will not be used or hacked. Unable to talk to a "real person" customer service is a bot.
