I can only describe the experience with Liquid Expat mortgages as professional and efficient. I had tried other brokers that could not find me a suitable mortgage, but the experienced team at Liquid determined the exact mortgage that was eligible for my tricky circumstance.

I'd particularly like to thank Vanessa Govender my Mortgage Co-Ordinator for being available for any questions and pushing all my documents along to the lender and solicitor, as well as making unbiased recommendations where needed.

We were let down by HSBC bank who I had banked with for over 20 years. We contacted Joe two days before Christmas and he secured an agreement in principle with NatWest. Tri Nation Purchase

When I explained my situation, wanting to buy a buy to let house in U.K. country of residence, currently working overseas and funds for deposit kept in a third country, John Squires assessed the property, my personal details and was positive.

Since that initial interaction the positive 'can do' attitude remained till the day of completion when Claire Aspin called up to confirm the release of funds.

The only words of caution are that there are a lot of forms to fill up - but that is to be expected.

Highly recommended if you are buying U.K. property from overseas.
